so i’ve been living on my own since I was 21 and moved just about every year due to school or work. So I’ve been through many management companies and managers in general. Michael is the best manager I’ve ever experienced. Scratch that, ever met. From the moment I set an appt to see the apartment to the moment I’ve moved in. Michael has been extremely understanding. He is a beautiful soul, I can text him anytime and he will fix the problem within mins. He is so understanding, even did a walk-through with me after I moved in to make sure everything was fine. My god if only every manager was like him I may actually enjoy living at certain complexes. My main fault in most places is the manager and with Michael its actually the opposite. I like the manager I just wish the place was newer or built differently. But the apartment is clean and very well kept. I was surprised when I moved in, new carpet, appliances, thermostat even, glazed the bath tub and the works in the kitchen. So most places in ktown are about 200 – 300 bucks more than casa Serrano, even while I was signing the lease about 5 people called for availability. This place is popular and there’s a reason why: Michael. I would recommend this place to anybody, actually my sister lived here before and that’s who recommended me to check it out. Totally worth it

Casa Serrano is a five star establishment in a part of town that you would never imagine could provide this type of satisfaction. Literally a diamond in the rough. The property manager Mike is A1. A very personable guy who is just as professional as he is a nice person. Emilio the building manager/all around Mr. Fix it tackles your problems as if he was a pro bowl linebacker for the Pittsburgh Steelers. The One bedroom apartments they offer are about 800+ square feet. Those of us who have tried to live in Los Angeles know how big that is for a one bedroom, especially one averaging about $ 1300 per month. The overall management company is also pretty reasonable and seems to have hired the right individuals to manage their property. I would implore anyone who just moved to Los Angeles, is looking to live alone, is tired of seeing bugs, pests, etc., and wants to have a pleasant living experience to move into this building. The diversity of the building itself is kind of an incentive, we have all walks of life, age groups, races, financial statuses in the building and everyone is personable and gets along. It’s been several times where UPS or Fed Ex was too lazy to walk my package actually in the building where my neighbors personally brought me the package with a smile and a «stop by any time.» This is definitely a place you must check out. Come, ask for Mike, and the rest of your experience will be pleasurable I promise.
