Casa Del Norte

Tacos, I only come here for this. Closest you can get to normal Mexican taco on campus. Taco bell can suck it. They used to be cheaper back before they remodeled the student center last year but its still alright. 4 tacos for $ 5? I can’t really complain. Student workers kinda work slow and it’s hit or miss if its filling or not too.

Here’s the way I usually talk people into going to Casa Del Norte with me:
«Wanna go get a gross burrito?»
They hesitate.
«It’s really filling…»
This should not work. I am not sure why it *does* work. But it does.
Casa Del Norte loses a star for no longer serving their greasy MexiCali tofu, yet failing to take it off their menu.
Only one star, though, because permanently changing the menu without updating the sign is a dearly-​regarded tradition at many of UCLA’s restaurants. It allows us to identify freshman and other campus novices quickly: they are the ones who are foolhardy enough to order the items that have not been served for years.
Casa Del Norte loses the other star for being disgusting in general.
But very filling.
