I am so torn about this review because I have been going there for years, at least once a week BUT… I wouldn’t feel comfortable consuming some things they have there. I get the marinated steak for carne asada, and I gotta tell you it’s the best damn meat on this side of the border. Some of the stuff there is old(cans„ spices, drinks), the produce and fruits are not always the freshest — I get the meat and salsa but stopped getting anything else!

Some bare shelves and run down look. I think they are getting ready to renovate and this place needs it. I still come in if i know exactly what i need such as cojita cheese or basic carne asada. the spices looked old with all the dust on the packages. I’ll come here if i have no other choice but pickings are slim

This is a great little place. You can either buy your own meat, and make some very delicious food at home, or you can order food. I have done both, and i have never been disappointed. The employees are always very friendly, and the prices are fair. They have a place where you can sit down and eat, I believe they also sell aguas frescas, and coffee, if you are eating there. I just take the food home though. If you are around don’t skip this one by. I highly recommend ordering a clayuda, with tasajo and cecina! UMMM. Its delicious, and it can usually feed two people!
