No ice for the soda. They were just saying that it was empty and giving ice«on request» from behind the counter. They gave my burger to someone else, after the other customer had already handled it and realized it, they took it from him, rewrapped it and gave it to me. I was fairly unhappy with this visit. Can you dump a bucket of ice into the machine?

I have tried this Carl’s drive thru three times now at varying times and number of cars. Regardless if there are 3 cars ahead or just myself, service is abysmal. It takes an astronomically long time for food to be prepared. Expect an average of 4 minutes per vehicle in front of you. Plus another 4 minutes for your vehicle. Maybe in the lobby it is better? I have given multiple second chances, but I can’t do it any longer. They won’t be seeing my business again.

SYNOPSIS: If you’re in a hurry, or don’t like your time wasted, then DONOT go through this locations drive through! You have been warned. I can’t speak for going inside, as I have never done that at this location. If you don’t care about your time being wasted, then know that the food is as good as any other location. There are three Carl’s Jr’s I go to somewhat frequently. I had stopped going to this one because they ALWAYS take too long. It had been months since I had gone there, and stupidly I gave them the benefit of a doubt AGAIN. Fool me once… Yeah, I’m the idiot, I know. I was driving a friend/co-worker to work, and even he had bad experiences and questioned if we should stop at this location. Anyway, I again took a chance because it was so convenient, and ended up waiting over 15 minutes in the drive through, BEHINDONLYONEOTHERCAR. I am not exaggerating about the time, and there being only one car in front of us. It was actually LONGER than 15 minutes. Keep in mind this location has ALWAYS taken way too long, so it is regardless of if it was the customers fault or not. Even if it was the customers fault, it is still the locations fault for not having that customer pull over to a spot and then have their order brought out to them. Five minutes is way too long. Ten minutes is crazy. Fifteen minutes is plain and simply fucked up! There is absolutely NOEXCUSE to keep people waiting like that. Come out and let them know if there’s a problem so they can get on their way if need be. This is the morning. Most of us are on our way to work. I was late, and I had no breakfast to show for it because of this lame locations management. They should have immediately offered our food to us for free for making us wait so long, but as soon as I finally got to the window, she tells us the price as if she thought we’d pay after having honked the horn multiple times for the last seven or eight minutes. No apology for the insane wait or anything of the sort. So I let her have it, making sure all the customers inside heard me as well. I’m sure they thought I was just a raving lunatic, but it felt good. Hopefully some of them heard all the horn honking for the previous 6 or so minutes and realized they deserved it. By the way, others behind me were also honking because of the ridiculous wait, not just me. I probably should have asked for the manager or supervisor to yell at instead of the woman at the window. She could have definitely helped the situation in many ways(but did not), but she probably has no control over how they do things there. Rant over…

I ordered something and they charged me an extra dollar more than on the menu! When I asked about it, they gave me attitude and couldn’t give an explanation. I was so hungry that I paid it. When I got home, I realized they forgot my fries. Bummer!

Just started a new job around the corner, so decided to give it a try. Went today at 11:45, only one car ahead of me but took forverer to get my food. Have to say the fries were hot and fresh and the santa fe turkey burger was pretty damn good too. The young man who worked the drive thru was very friendly as well. I see this place has bad reviews, but other than the wait, I wiould come again. Best fries I have had from a fast food joint in a long ass time!

Worse Carls jr I ever been to. Every time without fail they forget a sandwich or fries etc. It’s on the screen and on the receipt, how hard can it be to get it right? FASTFOODFRUSTRATED

Well, it’s Fast food Chain so I don’t expect it to be amazing. I actually love the Buffalo Bleu Cheese Burger. In my opinion, tastes a lot better than an In N Out Burger. Yeah, I said it & I meant it. Also, like the different fry options they have like Sweet Potato Fries or Buffalo Blu Cheese Fries. What ultimately stagnated this review was the homeless guy hanging out in the middle of the parking lot panhandling which made it uncomfortable to arrive & leave and made for fun driving. The tables were not particularly clean despite it being mid afternoon with lunch crowd gone. The staff wasn’t particularly friendly or available to help. The location although on a corner is difficult to get in and out of because it’s on the side of La Cienega that goes south for miles. So, unless you’re arriving West from Rodeo Rd and going East on Rodeo afterwards, it’s difficult to get in and out of. I’m not above giving this 4 or 5 stars, this place just doesn’t earn it despite the food being decent.

There are many West Coast eateries that I would love to bring to the East Coast, but Carl’s Jr is not one of them after my first trip. I ordered a turkey burger with jalapeño on it and it tasted half-cold. The outside of the turkey burger was very hot and cooked all the way through, but the temperature definitely cooled more and more as I made my way towards the middle of the sandwich. Also ordered a side of their sweet potato fries and those were pretty good. I would’ve preferred them more if they were cut thicker. I will have to say that the employee who tended to us was very nice and patient as we debated about what to order. Carl’s Jr is inexpensive(less than $ 4 for the sandwich), but I’d much rather pay more money for a better quality burger, or wait for the next In-n-Out to appear so that I could hop in there for some lovely burgerness.

Now normally I don’t like to review fast food spots unless they really stand out, and this one did. I got two Western Burgers for $ 4. Normally they are 2 for $ 5 but I had a coupon(who doesnt like to save money??). We went through the drive thru and I was too busy checking in to Unilocal so time flew by. They ended up not taking our coupon like another Carls did, and that’s always a plus. The burgers were nice and steamy. With my first bite, I had to remind myself that it wasn’t fresh off an outdoor grill because it sure tasted like it was! Everything was the perfect amount… sauce, cheese and the onions didn’t overpower anything!

Service really feels like they try to do good when you dine in, but there is such a feeling of dread in here. I think it’s the low ceiling and no background music as well as very weak Air Conditioning that just brings this place down such that I try to leave as soon as possible when I enter. I often stop here to grab a pre bike path boost, so I’ve eaten here fairly consistently over the years. The food is in two categories: either it’s made fresh right when you ordered it, or you get cold, dried out food which was sitting there. There is no in-between I’ve found out. I just hope whenever I go it’s fresh and delicious, but most of the time at least the fries are just these little yellow kubatons.

Not much to say about this place. I haven’t had a bad experience so there’s not much to write about there. I haven’t had a great experience either. My experiences have been decent.

Once I placed an order for a Famous Star Meal at the drive through window of this location, close to closing, which I wasn’t aware of at the time. When I got home, I noticed that the MEATPATTY was MISSING. I went back to complain about my meatless burger, but they were closed. I called the next morning and they argued with me and denied the fact. After the first incident, I didn’t eat at this location for at least three years, but my friend convinced me to give it another try, so I did. My food turned out ok that time, but my friend got food poisoning(I guess). He was sick to his stomach for three days after eating here. Now I drive to the one on La Cienega, near Kaiser.

I don’t like to be mean, the old adage of «if you ain’t got nothin’ nice to say, don’t say anything at all!» But all my reviews are super nice, and I feel like i should balance it out. So i’m picking on you, weird Carl’s Jr with the higher prices than other Carl’s Jrs! Why are you more expensive? The service is mediocre too. I work a couple blocks away, but I always go to the one on La Cienega instead, passing by this one on my way. It is that bad. It’s not that I was angered by any specific experience, it’s just that it’s such an unpleasant place to go for food.

The sign on the door says they open at 7am. At 7:21am, the neon«OPEN» sign blazed with light. Yet the doors were locked and the restaurant was clearly not open. I called the hotline and they were very friendly and agreed to send me some coupons as consolation. That was nice, but I still had to do without breakfast.
