I can’t believe how good the food is at this restaurant – everything from the warm bread, pasta and steak – they were all delicious. We have been served by Moises, Luis and Darren. and they were all very friendly and welcoming. This place is really a hidden gem in SFV.

This is practically a hidden restaurant in Chatsworth. I drive by almost every weekday and I never noticed it until a few days ago, so I decided to go on a Friday. My wife and I had an early dinner on Friday around 5:50pm, so it was pretty empty with only another table of four eating. The restaurant is right behind the bar(FYI, I was told happy hour is from 5:30pm to 7:00pm.) The server was very friendly and recommended the Stuffed Chicken Marsala($ 17), which was very delicious and a great portion size. The happy hour house margaritas were decent for the price at $ 5. The Spaghetti Bolognese($ 15) was good, but nothing to be praised about. The clear winner of the night was the stuffed chicken dish. Ultimately, my wife and I will be returning soon.

Don’t bother coming in here for breakfast, instead walk down to the corner and go to Country Deli. Caprese serves coffee in these tiny dollhouse sized cups, and slow to refill. Not because they are busy — I was the only person in the restaurant. Two tv’s blaring. Not a way to wake up.

I called the restaurant at 7:15 on a Sunday and I’ll one answered and it rang to the hotel switchboard. Hmm. Not a good sign. I had high hopes based on the other reviews.

The food is delicious! I didn’t know about this place when I lived here… wish I did. There’s usually no waiting and the staff is nice. We tried their breakfast and dinner and everything was very tasty! I recommend their Santa Susana Omelette and breakfast potatoes. Their sourdough dinner rolls with butter are delicious. A group of us went and each had a taste of each other’s foods… no complaints! It’s an Italian restaurant, but they have ‘bar foods’ such as nachos, fries, etc. Oh! Their Caprese Skewers are also a must-eat. Enjoy!

My wife and I had dinner with our three small children. All of our food and the service was excellent. The kids had cheese pizza. My wife had the lasagna and I had the spaghetti bolognese. It was really good.

So I have tried to go to this restaurant a few times in the morning hoping to get some work done on the computer and have some breakfast. No one is ever there. Staff is never working it seems. Its a beautiful restaurant just no one around and if the staff is around they say they are closed. I have tried a few times and this morning was my millionth time to try. Its a shame it looks like it could be a great breakfast place.

Went there with a friend who was visiting a relative nearby. Got there late in the evening and truly starving. Dining room was officially closed, but the staff opened a corner of the dining room, and treated us like queens. Food was great, thanks to Susan’s suggestions. Did I mention Susan? It all was all awesome because of Susan… Susan…Susan! Give that girl a raise!

Not a good experience at all. I was staying at the Radisson for business. The place was so empty at dinner, I had to ask the front desk to call the restaurant so somebody would seat me. I ordered the crab and shrimp tortelli, The sauce was good but the crab was tough and chewy. The shrimp was good, but the tails were left on, so I had to wade through the sauce to pull them off. I ordered tiramisu dessert to go and when I got back to the room, I discovered it was completely frozen. The next morning I went to the restaurant for breakfast. The hotel had a breakfast room service menu but I didn’t want to spend the extra money so I went to the restaurant for breakfast. I ordered oatmeal and sausage, and was appalled to receive instant oatmeal from the breakfast buffet. The waiter told me the only breakfast they serve is the $ 15 buffet, which wasn’t very good. Even when hotels give patrons free breakfast, it usually includes cooked oatmeal. I wasn’t going to pay $ 15 for instant oatmeal so I left. I complained to the hotel desk clerk, and he was surprised. He did not know they were not serving ala carte breakfast items.

This place is a fabulous restaurant four stars. And it happens to have a hotel attached. Recommendations are steak skewers & salmon. Susan & Beatrice are the greatest ! The chef(yes, a true chef) cares and prepares to please. I can keep going … Oh, and it’s attached to the Radisson hotel.

This restaurant is about half a mile from where I live. I decided to check it out with some friends last Saturday night. It is not very visible from the street and on the night we were there you had to enter the restaurant thru the lobby. The restaurant is surprisingly spacious and upscale. We were the only people there as it was before 6pm. It appeared as though the bartender did everything including waiting and clearing tables in the restaurant. She was very pleasant and sweet. The menu has a bit of everything– all at reasonable prices. I’m not crazy about italian food but there was more than enough for me to choose from. I got the salmon with avacado sauce and crispy onions. I loved it! My friends got the lasagna and the chicken scampi. They were both happy with their selections. The restaurant has a very relaxed ambiance and we just hung out for a while. By the time we left there were about six tables occupied. I will definately go back to try their sandwiches and salads and other interesting menu items.

I am staying in the Radisson with my family and we decided to come here for lunch. The service was really great, Luis was our waiter. He kept a our water glasses filled and was attentive; we were one of two tables in the restaurant. Restaurant: the restaurant was really nice. There are a lot of different food options to choose from. There are a few little tables outside, but it’s right next to a pretty busy street so could be loud. There are two rooms, one is a bar area(wasn’t open when I went to a noon lunch) and the other is the lunch room. Food: I ordered the chicken pesto sandwich. I really love pesto, but when I got the sandwich I was not really pleased. It came with chicken, cheese, peppers, lettus, and mayo, but I did not really taste any pesto. The French fries were good, but it’s really difficult to mess up fries. Others at my table got a hamburger(said it was overcooked), Asian chicken salad(said it was mediocre), and a turkey club(nothing special, but a lot of food). The downside: the food was not very good, we were expecting a lot better. Additionally, one person asked for onion rings buy got french fries and he told the waiter, but the waiter didn’t believe him at first but then just decided to check for extras in the back. Lastly, we had a 10% off coupon which we had on the front of the table within eye sight of the waiter the entire time and the waiter didn’t even notice it until we physically told him to.

Pleasantly surprised. Driven by since it was the Hot Tomato. Last night decided to go in. All of us were very pleased. It was mostly business types and there we were with my 1 year old… though it was pretty empty. Food was good. We were all surprised for some reason, in a good way. The manager was very friendly. Only thing to improve would be the attentiveness of the waiter. When you have a kid you need things a little quicker. If you’re in the area is recommend checking if out.

First of all, this place is part of a hotel(I think mostly for business conferences and such as there are many conference rooms and meeting rooms). I ordered Salmon Ala Limon. There are many other lovely selections on the list as well! I went with a huge group of people and the restaurant seemed pretty empty despite having such nice and kind servers and workers. The ambiance was calm and very relaxing. When my salmon came, it was heaped with fried onions and a portion of mashed potatoes as well. Upon trying the salmon, my taste buds had reached heaven. It was absolutely delicious! The lemony taste added with the onions and mashed potatoes were absolutely perfect together. The dish complemented itself. I can’t believe such a find has been neglected as the restaurant was almost entirely empty aside from a kind elderly couple on the side. We took a tour of the hotel, looking into the rooms and such as well and the rooms were well furnished(like new) and radiated of warmth and cleanliness. I think this restaurant is a perfect place to go to for a meal locally.

Hi there, order the bruschetta… you’re welcome. The food is a little heavy and large, but very comforting and savory. The place is huge with its own bar and restaurant. Caprese has nice ambiance, friendly staff and excellent service. However, I would love to see more vegetarian and dessert items on the menu! I would definitely come back for a relaxing drink and appetizer.

This hotel bar and restaurant may become our new«local». You don’t need to be a guest in the hotel to enjoy Caprese. Beatrice the bartender is friendly, attentive and generous with the pour. We’ve recently enjoyed drinks and dinner on two separate occasions. Delicious yet moderately priced drinks and food, very nice décor and great service. Highly recommended.

Hotel restaurants are so posh. Caprese is located in the Radisson Hotel. The interior is very modern, creating a trendy ambiance. It’s a fairly large restaurant which is ideal for big groups. Their service is great too. The waitresses and waiters are all really sweet and accommodating. The food is delish. They have a variety of cuisines on their extensive menu. I’ve tried everything! Their seafood dishes are probably the best, especially the salmon, seared ahi tuna, and seafood pasta. This is def a Chatsworth neighborhood gem!

I came to Caprese for a family meal with relatives coming in from out of town. The restaurant was newly remodeled and I hadn’t heard anything about it before hand, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. First of all, the décor is BEAUTIFUL. It’s modern and clean and I felt happy the moment I stepped in. The servers were also helpful, friendly, and attentive. As for the food, I was delighted by how delicious my meal was. The waitress recommended a seared tuna salad with a mountain of avocado, and it was easily the best seared tuna I’d had in ages: rare except for a crispy crust, perfectly paired with the creamy avocado. Everything my family got was also delicious. In short, I would definitely go back again and again!

I love this place! First of all the bartender Beatrice makes a delicious«any kind of cocktail you may want» How about a watermelon, basil martini! The food is delicious. It is quiet, and I think a bit of a secret place at the Radisson Hotel in Chatsworth. Love to keep it a secret but feel compelled to share! It is casual, fun, and I highly recommend giving it a try!
