I’m surprised to be the first person to review this place. California Udon House is located inside the California Market on Beverly Blvd. and Kingsley. They have everything from udon to kalbi-​tang. Their food is ok tasting, but you can’t beat the price. I don’t go there because I’m craving their food — I go there when I’m craving some decent food for dirt cheap. So, if you’re a little strapped for cash and want a good hearty Korean meal, check this place out. You can get a big bowl of soup for no more than $ 5.00 and roll of kimbab for only $ 1.00.
Parking is plentiful but Korean people are terrible drivers (fyi). There’s plenty of seating inside, but you might have to fight for a table. There’s also a sushi and jjam-​ppong restaurant inside the supermarket and they all share the tables.
