We had Mick of CA Gold Rub BBQ cater our dear friend’s birthday dinner as a surprise, and it was absolutely wonderful! The meal started with smoked potato and sweet potato chips, followed by delicious smoked veggies! Then we had a salad, the gooiest, cheesiest gluten free Mac n’ cheese and potato gratin ever, salmon, ribs, and steak! Everything was seasoned perfectly and surrounded by fresh herbs. There was more than enough food for 10 people, and we received complimentary seasonings to try at home! The rubs contain no sugar or gluten, and can be used to make sauces. Mick was not only personable, but he and his assistant packed everything up for us afterwards and like magical food elves, it was like they were never there!
