Dr. Vangsness is an amazing surgeon! I brought my ex-​husband in for a few of his appointment with the doctor. Dr. Vangsness actually made jokes and put us both at ease regarding his surgery. We both fully understood what to expect and that it would be a while before full recovery. I love when a doctor such as Dr. Vangsness treats you like a person and not a project.

Dr. Vangsness is top notch. Not only one of the best at what he does, but has a very friendly demeanor and makes sure you, the patient, understand what’s going on. He is very attentive and friendly. Very into technology too, I even got a DVD of my surgery!
My only gripe is the wait in the office can be pretty long. I know waiting is the name of the game, but my last 2 appointments I’ve waited 2 hours on average to see the doctor. So if you’ll be visiting the office, bring a book or magazine or make sure your iPhone/​iPod is charged!
