Great little Burrito place, menu is simple and nothing fancy like ChiPOOPtle or Barfa Fresh. Carne Asada is great, price is reasonable and the place is clean. Can’t beat that.

Price Reasonable prices I spent less then 25 for 4 people. 2 burritos and 7 tacos Location It’s a spot located in a shopping center. Funny smell when you walk in but I can overlook/smell that. The set up is pretty lousy doesn’t look welcoming, sauces are ok. Service I was there on a Sunday, two people working. Guy at the front was kind but a bit slow with handling multiple tasks. It’s not fast food but I can say it took them a while to prepare my food and it was really slow while I was there. Food I had the asada burrito and I’ll be honest I was surprised on how flavorful it was. The meat was juicy and it well prepared. The beans, rice cheese and avocado delicious. My friends ordered tacos and the lengua burrito and they all said it was top notch. Misc. Didn’t come for the service or location, I came for the food and they didn’t disappoint.

I was the first person to eat there on their grand opening. My family and I love the food and great service. I recommend the Chicken Naked Burrito.

A great foodie spot on Huntington Drive. It’s easy to miss, but definitely worth a u-turn if you craving a bomb burrito! The«naked»(open burritos) options are pretty cool. Interesting concept. I recommend the naked veggie. I like how this place feels like a mini sports bar, but with no TV. If I can describe this place in three words it will be: Food. Friends. Family. Check it out!

Great burritos. Had the asada and it was really good. Good size Meat not too dry. Tasted like it wasn’t frozen Good rice AND beans Salsa was good. I liked the salsa more Finally the tortilla which makes or breaks a burrito. Homemade I think? I’ll be back.

This place is AMAZING. The food is so GOOD!!! I came in today thinking that this would be like a chipotle and to my surprise Burrito place is amazing. I ordered the soy chorizo burritos and when I first bit into it I was in lovee. I finished the whole thing and it’s a good size burrito!!! They also have a salsa bar right next to the registers, the green salsa and pico de gallo were really good. The burrito comes with rice, beans, chorizo, onion and cheese… so GOOD. It really tastes like authentic Mexican food. The customer service was also good, the guy at the register was really nice! It was like 12:20 and he said he would still make us breakfast ! Super dope. I will definitely be back!!! New favorite spot !:)

A chill ambience with a friendly staff makes the place very welcoming. The food is a better than chipotle in my opinion. If I would recommend something on their menu it would be «the naked burrito«yes I said naked burrito, I remember trying it the first time and I was hooked. The only reason I don’t add the fifth star is, well the horchata has a lingering after taste that is anything but pleasant. You’re better off buying a Coke than the horchata.

After visiting our friend we were very hungry and trying to find a open restaurant but my friend recommend to try the Burrito Place just couple of blocks away from his house. He say the burritos are very good including the sopes and then my wife and I headed to the Burrito Place before they closed. We arrive at the Burrito Place 15 minute before they closed the open then we decided to take the food home. My wife order the Carne asada and myself I got the chili verde and we also order two sopes. When we arrive at home the smell of food overwhelming. My chili verde burrito was really good amazing flavors like the black beans and chili verde sauce and one important thing is the pork it was so tender so much flavors I really enjoy it. My wife enjoy her Carne asada burrito it so have so much flavors that’s why she enjoy it. We also got two sopes for one of each. The sope was so good we enjoy it very everything at the Burrito Place is scratch made daily that’s why my friend recommend the Burrito Place to us. We will go back again and try something different.

I absolutely love their veggie tacos. Yes, the barbacoa is delicious too, but the veggies tasted so fresh and crunchy. I’d definitely come back again.

Daaaaaaayyuuum!!! I just finished eating chicken burrito! It was so good that I’m just waiting for it to go down so I could order another one. I suggest you guys to order a chicken burrito extra well done. The chicken is going to Chrispy! I’m officially a big fan of Burrito Place… I stay at highland park and it’s worth coming over here. Big shout out to Yefree the chief! He gets down with it. I see him when he has a lot of orders, dude looks like a ninja!!! But seriously food here is GREAT! It’s not white wash Mexican spot… It’s a real Mexican spot!

Don’t be deceived by the name. they have tacos too! It’s tucked away in a plaza on Huntington and it is super easy to miss. I stopped by here after work and it was almost their closing time. I ordered 4 tacos and an horchata. Good horchata is hard to come by and a lot of me liking a Mexican place comes down to whether or not I like their horchata. The horchata here wasn’t my favorite as it is a little more grainy than I’m used to. The tacos held up well on my way home and the flavors were good. I had a problem with the lime that they put out. It was probably the driest limes I have ever tried to squeeze. Took about 1 full lime(2 halves) to get 5 drops out. I think king taco still reigns supreme when it comes to tacos around me but I might consider dropping by again since it’s so close to my house. Next time I’ll be trying something else!

I literally love this place! Its like a healthier version of Chipotle without the e.coli. Their naked burrito with either chicken or carne asada is amazing. The carne is seasoned right, cooked well and these people are not greedy with their portion size. Its also cheaper than Chipotle and you don’t have to spend $ 2 on guacamole. This will be my regular spot.

I would have never found this place without Unilocal, and it was great! I don’t know exactly what this place is trying to be but to me I felt like the food is like authentic mexican but sort of modernized/americaned. It’s not quite all the way like chipotle but somewhere in between? The food tastes excellent, but definitely not as greasy as most other really authentic mexican spots. My husband and I actually quite like the fact that it’s not as greasy, although I will admit sometimes greasy = tasty. haha. We tried several tacos(lengua, carnitas, pollo) and got a «naked burrito» with asada. We also got a nachos. Everything tasted great. My husband said the naked burrito is not really«naked» since it still comes with a tortilla. It actually made it a little hard to eat because you’re trying to figure out if you should cut into the tortilla to get a bite where you can get all the stuff in the bowl and the tortilla or what. I think we would either want just a burrito or a bowl without the tortilla(like chipotle). I particularly liked the lengua most. I think the price is fair, and their salsa was excellent as well. The nacho was a little dry so I ended up putting a lot of salsa on it. Maybe a little bit of guacamole and sour cream would have helped too. Overall a good mexican spot that’s authentic enough for us and also didn’t make us feel super sluggish and guilty afterward.

The name says a lot about what you can expect walking in. The Menu: Burrito wrapped in tortilla. Burrito without a tortilla. Taco. Quesadilla. As the name implies Burritos and Tacos are pretty much all you get here, and it is a good thing, cuz the burritos are great! Even the décor says burrito… literally… Simple wood tables with«Burrito» stamped in the center. In fact, everything about the place is simple and to the point, and good. In a simple little strip mall, Simple 15×20 dining room, simple salsa bar(complete with radishes, chopped onions, lime wedges, cilantro, and 3 salsas), and simple but delicious burritos. I’ve eaten the chicken burrito twice and loved it the same each time. Not sure why, but the burritos are probably the best I’ve had. The chicken tastes great. I’ll be coming back often. Glad they opened not too far from my home.

This place is tucked away in a small strip mall in Alhambra. The food is good, nothing too fancy about it. The«open burrito» is truly just that, a flour tortilla lying open faced with the burrito ingredients piled on top. But don’t mistake this for a «burrito bowl» that you find at other places. There are no vegetables or cheese though it does include sour cream and guacamole. We also tried the asada nachos and they were good, not on par with some of the other places we’ve been to, but no complaints. I wouldn’t drive out of my way to eat here, but if you’re in the neighborhood it’s worth a try.

Really kicking myself that I haven’t tried this place sooner. Always on the search for a good burrito, I saw when this place first opened, but figured I’d give it some time to get into their groove. THEYHAVEFOUNDTHEIRGROOVE. Stopped by on a Sunday evening(Yes, they are open Sunday evenings) with my husband to give them a try. Located on Huntington(note: if you drive past it, it will take you a while to get back because you have to drive awhile before you can uturn it). Its a little burrito shop in a little strip mall with other businesses. Sunday evening there was plenty of parking because most of the other businesses were closed(could be different at lunch time). I ordered the Carnitas«Naked» Burrito. Its an open burrito, like a bowl. The meat was Delicious! Plus, the onions & cilantro on top were fresh. AND they put just the right amount of sour cream & guacamole. They give you the option of pinto or black beans(I had the pinto). I was THRILLED with my choice. Hubby had the Barbacoa burrito. You know its good when, not only did he go silent, I didn’t get to try a bite. Plus, he stole several bites of mine! Its soooo good, that I ordered another barbacoa burrito for my son, but had to guard it from my husband on the ride home. After eating his burrito, my son bursted into my bedroom to tell me that he LOVED it. So there you have it; WEAREFANS! Note: they have a kid’s menu.

It was decent! The restaurant is very clean inside and looks similar to Chipotle; stainless steel, wooden table tops and wooden accents. It’s a little bit different set up than Chipotle, you order and wait to be called instead of seeing it through from start to finish. The food itself was good. I ordered 4 chicken tacos to-go and was pleasantly surprised how much meat there was on the tacos. They were flavorful and the tortillas were very soft. I also felt that the quality of the chicken is better than Chipotle. They have a salsa bar, which is a nice touch so you could get as much as you want. I really liked their green salsa it was my favorite out of all 3, the red salsa is super spicy like hot sauce, and the pico de gallo is average or slightly below. What kept me from giving them 5 stars is the fact that it took so long for me to get my food and the place was practically empty. I waited for 11 minutes, tacos should only take 1 or 2 minutes to make. There was only 1 person ahead of me in line and no other customers waiting. The food was not served piping hot so I could tell the chicken was already pre-made, so there’s no reason for the hold up. Overall I liked the food and it was cheap only $ 1.25 per taco everyday. Some places only have dollar tacos on Tuesdays, but they have it all the time, which is great. They need to hurry it up the kitchen area, but otherwise I have no complaints. I will be back for more tacos.

I’m so happy this place is here. The food is good. I didn’t find it bland neither too salty. The prices are great and you get a good amount for the money. I went on Thursday evening and the young man was very helpful and friendly. It’s right on our way home and is perfect to stop in for a quick meal. We’ll be back :)
