Located in the Sheraton hotel, its a pretty decent hotel bar and lounge. I had the lamb meatballs which were very very good. I will return here to try more in the future.

Tried calling 4 times to place an order for pick up during lunch hours. No answer each time and room service said they couldn’t do anything but transfer me back to the phantom host stand where apparently nobody was. I KNOW y’all aren’t that busy, come on now. I’ve worked in high traffic fine dining and we always found a way to pick up the phone. Finally gave up, would hate to see what the in person service is like. Yikes.

Service slow but friendly, difficult to accommodate large groups conferencing at hotel. Sandwiches, steak, soba noodles were good.

We were told to seat ourselves, so we sat down at a table and waited. And waited. For 30 minutes. No one ever came to serve us.

This review is specifically for the lunch staff. Ordered a burger with bacon. The bacon was missing. The waiter apologizes and says he will go get it. Another waiter shows up with some cold old bacon on a saucer. I said to him that the bacon was cold. He says yes I know that’s from breakfast this morning. He asked if I wanted it microwaved. Huh!

Had a breakfast here. They have a very nice buffet with a wide variety. Not usually a fan of buffets but this was really pretty good. Fast seating and very friendly and attentive staff. Would like to come back here.

Typical American food here. Not bad, but kinda«blandish» — they could kick it up a notch with some flavored and stuff. At least there’s a thing of black pepper I could put on all the food. One of the few 3 stars I’m giving out to a restaurant.

The waiters here are so nice to me every time I’m here! I haven’t gotten a lot of things here because I only came here for lunch and I basically only eat salads for lunch, but their cobb salad is great. I wouldn’t recommend their Mandarin salad. It is a little sweet. Their burgers and fries here are also good. The soup. The chef here makes a new soup every day, and I have never had a bad soup in this restaurant. If you come, you must give the soup of the day a try.

I had breakfast at this lovely little spot in the Sheraton hotel for 3 days and not much to complain about. When it comes to breakfast you can’t really surprise me because no ones going to re-invent some gourmet way to serve scrambled eggs. But this place surfaced my needs, which was fueling me for my adventures on my mini vacation to LA Food: served buffet style, it had your eggs, bacon, pancakes etc but the one thing they had that I LOVED was smoked salmon. I love having smoked salmon with a cream cheese bagel for breakfast. Their coffee was delicious, and OMG their orange juice was so fresh. Price: I’m actually not sure what the price is because the front desk gave me comp breakfast tickets for the days I was there but I’d expect it to not be too bad. Service: great service, I have no complaints. Everyone was very up beat and chipper :)

This restaurant has a breakfast buffet for 19.95. It seems too much for a breakfast but it is worth every peny. The food is very good and varied. I tasted the french toast, it was really tasty! I also ate some cheeses, fruits, muesli with yogurt and berries and eggs. The staff is very nice!

Haven’t written a review in a while, but wanted to post a warning, and a tip to the management. I had the burger at the Brasserie, which is the lobby bar at the Sheraton Gateway LAX. It was $ 13 which is probably about the going rate for a hotel burger. But here’s the interesting thing – it was a frozen, pre-formed patty. Tasted horrible. Had a couple small pieces of bone in it. Just a really cheap decision by the management not to serve a real, fresh, hand-formed burger. The patty probably cost 50 cents. Definitely not what I’d expect from a Starwood property. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere until they fix this! Service and fries were great, but there’s just no excuse for serving a burger like that.

They seem a bit slow, and I suggest waiving people down to order. They are also very expensive. Turkey club $ 14 was ok, very hard bread, cheese over powered all other flavor. Oven roasted chicken $ 18 was pretty small, very moist, hint of lemon and basil flavor. Gravy had a strong turkey gravy flavor. Fries were dry and over cooked. Mash potatoes are moist and buttery.(Probably best thing there) Veggies were ok and oily. Unfortunately, there isn’t much food around this hotel.

Located at the Sheraton Gateway Hotel, I had a breakfast meeting here this week. For 4 of us to eat their buffet, they charged me $ 87.59 before tip. The food was okay. Yeah, it’s expensive, but I didn’t want to look cheap and drive my guests to Denny’s down the street. If you valet park, don’t forget to get validation. You’ll still have to pay $ 6.00. Without the stamp, it would have been $ 17.00.
