Its decent. They were kind but need a little more knowledge. I ordered a breve cortado. which is a cortado with half and half. They had to confirm with me if that had half and half. Give them more time. The steamed milk was not silky so the barista do need more training. The décor is very nice. Its a nice cute shop. Lots of great food and bites to eat! I would come again.

This was my first time ordering, and I was very satisfied with the food and service. I ordered an egg sandwich, an acai bowl, and a cortado. The coffee here is excellent and the egg sandwich was exquisite. As for the acai bowl, it was fresh and savory. I think I found my new favorite coffee shop.

stopped by after lunch due to the great reviews on Unilocal.the place is cozy and the workers/owners(?) are really nice but the products were just meh to me. came with a couple friends and we all got coffees and pao de queijos. i believe the majority of us ordered the latino latte. i got the brasil kiss latte. the pao de queijo was underwhelming, i would say the ones at fogo de chao are infintely better. they warm it up for you and everything, but it was still hard and didn’t have much flavor. overall, the drinks were meh as well. extremely light on everything — sweetness and coffee flavor. disappointed in the misleading 4.5 stars on Unilocal.would not return.

I’m visiting from norther California and looked up open coffee shops on Unilocal.Starbucks was close so I started walking, on my way, I saw a sign for this coffee shop and decided to give a local shop a try. I’m so glad I did! I ordered an almond milk dirty chai which was delicious, I got a boxed water and a raw, unpasteurized, organic juice drink as well, everything cost $ 10! At Starbucks it would have been $ 15 – 20 for what I purchased. The service was friendly, clean cut and courteous young man took my order and asked me about my day, where I was coming from and made a genuine effort to be kind. The manager of this place clearly cares about building rapport with customers. If I was local, I would definitely come back for more tasty coffee from Brasil Kiss Coffee Bar! I’d recommend giving this place a try if you haven’t yet.

Love, love this place that opened up not so long ago close to my work! Great coffee. Wonderful customer service. Really tasty and affordable eats. They have these little gluten free cheese puffs called Pao de Queijo that are so light and delicious! And the breakfast sandwich is delish. This is not a fast service joint, but good food and coffee deserve time.

I’m not sure exactly what happened? Something changed here. The past three times I’ve ordered(each time hoping for a better experience) I’ve been disappointed once again. I was unable to finish my food. Everything used to be very good here, but as of lately(not sure if different chef or not) the food has tasted very… old & lacking in flavor. Unfortunately, the last time was my last time ordering here for a while. Hopefully, they start caring again.

A must try place, you won’t be disappointed! I got the chicken breast empanada with a side of savory salad. and let me tell you, the salad was SO fresh and full of more than just leaves –they are generous with their ingredients and don’t skimp on anything for sure — especially loved their generous portion of freshly chopped artichokes in my salad. It looked and tasted like it came straight from the farmers market. Empanada was also delicious and was exploding with chunks of chicken breast, tomatoes, and spinach. Eat it with the salad as they really compliment eachother. Don’t forget to try their cheese bread. $ 1/per but you can’t just have one… it’s sooo chewy and cheesy and very addicting. I’ll probably get 10 of them next time. I had it delivered this time around but I’m already planning on making a trip to the actual café. Delivery was fast and everything was packaged so neatly. Try this place out, it’s totally worth your money and everything is fresh and you’ll feel healthier after your meal.

I come here often every morning. Love your prosciutto and egg breakfast sandwich. Recommend those cheese balls. Staff is also always sweet :)

Brasil Kiss, obrigado por ser tão bom! What a wonderful concept, classy location located just over the freeway in DTLA, and perfect execution by people who care about their business and their product. We were greeted by Joãon who took careful time to explain his coffee creations and breakfast sandwiches. I chose the breakfast sandwich of gooey cheese, tangy prosciutto, and guava jam that perfectly balanced the slight twang of the prosciutto. My day couldn’t have started any better. Joãon explained how he made me his favorite espresso drink with two shots of espresso, steamed milk, and a hint of condensed. Dude even took careful time to draw an intricate picture of my labrador retriever in my foam. How did he do that?! I’m a fan. It’s a nice little walk over the freeway to get there, but you’ll be glad you did.

I could barely contain my excitement as I entered. The ambiance is warm and inviting. The service is great, I was welcomed as soon as I entered and Johan(forgive me if I spelled it wrong) helped me as it was my first time here. He patently showed me the sizes of cups and explained the different coffee options. I had done my research on Unilocal before I came, thank Unilocalers for helping me find this place! The coffee was soo good I ended up sitting there to enjoy it along with the delicious Romeo and Juliet pastry… to die for! I ended up getting another cup of coffee for the walk back.(I love LA… triple shot of espresso, yes please!) No bitter burnt coffee here – smooth, delicious and made with love! AND I got a cool heart design on my coffee, never had that before. Looking forward to experiencing the rest of the menu, their smoothies looked delish! What a find!

I love this café. Whether its indulging in a pricier(but totally worth it) cup of intelligensia coffee, dropping by for my occasional acai bowl or grabbing lunch I’ve never been unsatisfied with what I’ve ordered. Acai bowl: made with lots and lots of care and generous portions. Steak Sandwich: very yummy, generous with the steak and again a generous portion. Marissa, who is either the owner or manager(maybe both?) is really courteous to her customers. I’m glad they’re a part of the neighborhood.

This place is everything a coffee shop needs to be. Delicious Pastries and drinks, incredible staff, and great cute location! It’s the best grab and go, or people watch. I love coming here before class every Monday! The only downside is street parking but that’s Every pace in downtown LA. I love coming here before class every Monday!

This place is awesome! I’ve had two of their panini sandwiches: the brasil kiss Quentin and the X-Picanha, and they were both AMAZING! The people working here are super nice, and give free samples of their deserts and savory bites on occasion. The ambience is super mellow and cool. I love it here. I live down the street and come all the time!!! Delicious empanadas too! I highly recommend this place

Was in this area with my dog and needed my afternoon pick-me-up. Yeah, there’s the McDonald’s of the coffee world(Starbucks) a block away, but I wanted to try something new. Brasil Kiss Coffeebar it is. They have 3 tables outside(cool, considering I can’t go in with my dog). Hubby went in and grabbed me a cappuccino. FYI, when Hubby opened the door to go inside, it smelled Wonderful. I’m gonna have to go back and try some of their food. My Cappuccino? On point. Plus, who doesn’t love Cappuccino Art?

I work very close to Brasil Kiss and have to say I’m happy to have an alternative to Starbucks’ burnt coffee, and one that even offers food. The coffee is great, but I think I like the food even better. Portuguese savory salad– I ordered this along with a side of tuna. It was pricey(about $ 13) but the portion was huge! It was more than enough for two meals and the tuna was great: not too much mayo, just enough, and tasted high quality. The salad was also excellent; it had greens, artichokes, nuts, cheese, tomatoes, and bell peppers and was definitely tasty. Sweet salad– I don’t think it’s called that but I can’t remember the name. It’s also good and has greens, strawberries, cheese, and nuts. They don’t skimp on the ingredients. Empanada– I had the spinach and cheese. The filling was flavorful but the pastry was a bit undercooked. Still, I’d probably get it again. I got the empanada and a side salad for lunch one day and it was only about $ 8, which I thought was a pretty good deal. I asked for prices on everything so unlike others, I wasn’t unpleasantly surprised about the bill. When I asked about things, the woman was very helpful and wasn’t trying to hide anything. Also, I thought the customer service was wonderful. My original order one day was the savory salad with a side of tuna. I got my order and went back to my office, only to discover that they’d given me the sweet salad, which doesn’t really mesh well with tuna. I called them, and they not only delivered the new order to me(a full order with another side of tuna and the salad), they also let me keep the old one. Plus they brought it to me very quickly. All places make mistakes but it’s how they fix them that matters to me and Brasil Kiss did a really great job, which is why I went back.

Love this place. Great coffee, but even greater and authentic Brazilian snack food. They have coxinha(kind of like a friend empanada) and brigadeiro(the crack addict’s dessert of choice) and pizza with real Brazilian catupiry cheese. I’m sold 100%. You’ve probably seen their truck around town but this is the brick and mortar opened back in May. I don’t go downtown that often or anywhere near it, really but this is a fantastic reason to. The place is a little on the small side in terms of places to sit, but it’s a great place to hang out with friends. They have some fantastic art work on the walls including a kiss mural. Good vibes all over.

I am glad this place just opened within the last year and oh boy am I happy. I am pretty bored of going to Starbucks and don’t have enough time to go to Grand Central Market for G&B. Brasil Kiss Coffeebar is a chique coffee shop in DTLA. They served an array of things. I’ve had their cold brew coffee which is made very well. The cheese puff that my friends raved about was ok. I definitely want to try different things on here. It’s a little more on the expensive side but I am okay with spending a few extra bucks once in a while.
