Brought my kids in here last week, Vicky was friendly. it was my first time coming here, I was recommended by a friend here. She told me that Vicky has been doing her hair for over 6 years now. My friend has a 1 year old son and brings him here too. Its always hard to find a place that will take good care of your needs and give you reasonable prices. I have to young boys and I’ve had experiences where they cut too much or theyre not careful of the mess they cause while cutting their hair. Vicky was very professional, she defiebtly has talent in what she does, and most importantly she did a great haircut! I’d recommend this place to anyone who has children and need an expert at haircuts!
All I wanted was a sanitary place and good customer service. And vicky offered that and more! Thank you.

Great local place to get your hair cut. I’ve lived in Highland Park since the early 90’s and have always got my hair cut by Vicky or Rosie. Super clean and professional business for any type of hair style.

This place is clean but parking is limited to the streets only. Rosie cut my sons hair and mine. My son being a teenager is very picky about his hair but was really happy with his haircut. After she cut my hair she washed, shampooed and applied gel to my hair. That’s something a lot of barbershops don’t do. This is great cause you can go on with your day without hair on your face. Very friendly staff and cut your hair to your taste.

Got Elvia as a stylist and my haircut turned out great. Recently moved to highland park and I’ve been looking for a hair place. Followed my instructions and was super detailed when it came to sideburns, hair part, thinning my hair out etc. will totally come back. Call ahead though just to see if they are free.

Luis is an amazing barber!!! I brought my 17 year old son to luis, from a referral, because he is very picky about his haircuts. Luis cut his hair to perfection!!! We will definently be coming back and referring Luis the Barber to all of our friends and family!!!

My friend and I got ombré hairstyles from Luis and we were very happy with the whole experience! We came in pretty late on a Friday night and he was willing to stay late to accommodate us (without making us feel bad about it!). He gave us good suggestions and good color advice. Neither of us had dyed our hair before and he made us feel very comfortable. We also enjoyed talking to him: he is a very pleasant person! The price was very reasonable too. We will definitely come back and recommend him to our friends. Now we are on the hairstyle avant-​garde of Highland Park! :-)

I got a wonderful haircut from Luis for a very reasonable price. He evaluated my hair, we discussed what I wanted, he made a suggestion and then cut it. Simple, easy, affordable. This will be my new salon! Yay!
Josie also cut my daughter’s hair. She was very patient and persistent in giving layers to a very fidgety six year old.
I am very happy to have found this salon. We will all be returning here for our next haircuts.

i dyed my hair for the very first time here, i was scared at first… but when vicky finished my hair… i never stopped going. she has dyed my hair, cut my hair, and treated my hair.
she is indeed the best i’ve seen thus far :)

I’ve been coming here for many years. I see Rosie, she always cuts my hair exactly as I tell her and if she gives me suggestions I trust what she has to say. I’ve shown her pictures and she has been able to match exactly to the picture, she is amazing, she always manages to find time to see me even if she has to stay a little late. The prices here are very reasonable as well, i have long hair, I get a shampoo, cut and she irons my hair for under $ 20
