Awesome market! A must stop before heading into the stadium. Grab your peanuts, sun flower seeds, and cracker jacks here…

Accidentally stumbled upon it after visiting the Toretto house from the Fast and Furious series. The outside of the market is exactly the the same, but the inside is not. No tuna sandwiches but still pretty cool to take pictures with if you’re a fan. Tip: — The location of the Toretto house is actually pretty close by to this market(722 East Kensington Road). People live there but I managed to take a quick picture in front of it. You’re welcome!

I’m not a Fast & Furious fan but have a watched a few of the early movies. Located in Echo Park, Bob’s Market is one of the first scenes for the very first movie known as Toretto’s Market. Located on a leg of a triangular shaped intersection, it’s easy to miss. Worth a drive if you’re a fan of the movie.

was looking for Dom to ask him about race wars… but he wasnt there… mia wasnt there either. was gonna try the tuna with no crust. anyways. i was on vacation and wanted to visit a few fast and furious place to take pics… once i walked in. it looks nothing like the movie. not surprised tho. it is what it’s called. a normal little market. i bust out my phone to snapchat to my ppl in chicago but the dude said no. you cant take pics or record inside here… understandable. pretty sure im not the only person that did this and it gets annoying for them. but whatever. 5 stars because fast and furious!!!

i grew up across the street from bob’s market. that was 50+ years ago. used to buy a 5 cent pickle from the pickle jar. have gone back periodically over the years. was there today; 1.13.12. friendly service. new owner has had the place only 5 years. i gave him a brief history of the place. he was really surprised that i knew the original Bob and his wife. i’m craving to go back to bob’s. if you google bob’s market you will find an interesting history of this historic landmark.

Bob Market was the filming location of Dominic Torreto’s store in the first Fast and Furious! No, there isn’t any grilled tuna fish sandwich from what I seen, but it’s owned by a very nice older couple, who will greet you with a smile. What I love about this market, it’s the closest store to buy sodas and other goodies to take into a Los Angeles Dodger game. If you’re advent Dodger fan who enjoys going to the games, you would know that the Dodger organization will let you take a few items to consume into the stadium, and Bob’s has about everything you need. Located just one street south of the Elysian road(the main enterance to Dodger Stadium) on Sunset. This place became my stop before any Dodger game, and another plus… they sell Lottery tickets, and they don’t screw up my tickets like those guys at the 7 – 11 in Alhambra. This is a big plus for Nevadans, who loves going to Dodger games.

I love Bob’s! I live right across the street from it and stop in if I run out of sugar, or need some bleach, or a diet coke… Its a sweet little hole in the wall that holds some serious old school charm. The owners are especially sweet. A gem to say the least.

Whenever I go walk around Angeleno Heights to check out the Victorian houses I stop by Bob’s Market at the end of my stroll for a nice coconut water and Ferrero Rocher chocolate. If you start around Carroll Ave and make your way up to a long curved street checking out these houses you will end up where Bob’s Market is. The market is not too big but seems to have just about anything you would expect at a market. Best of all, I have never seen strange people lurking around.

Bob’s Market is also a famous movie location. It was featured in the background of several films including D.J. Caruso’s 2002 film«The Salton Sea» starring Val Kilmer.

I love Bob’s Market with a passion! As I write this, I am eating butter pecan Haagen-Dazs, chili cheese fritos, and a diet coke recently purchased from my beloved Bob’s Market. They have an atm with a $ 1.75 surcharge, which ain’t so bad, and recently started accepting atm/credit cards for a 50 cent fee. They sell the standard liquor store fare along with some random household items. The couple who owns the store are just about the sweetest thing ever. They always say hi and if I’m there during the day they ask me if I’m late for work. I go there so often that when I was out of town for three weeks as soon as I went back they were like, where were you! One of my favorite summertime activities is to take a walk down the street here and grab a popsicle. Anyway, I gladly shell out 50 cents to a buck more than what I’d spend at the supermarket in favor of a stop at Bob’s Market, and most of the time their prices are pretty competitive anyway.
