Service was friendly and the pearl milk tea was standard. Can’t complain.

If an owner yells at you for no reason whatsoever then what can you expect but a bad rating. Obviously a money seeking place. Lady is very rude, i was shocked at her outburst. Random and unnecessary. Spread the word: this place deserves no customers.

I don’t think the Korean lady who runs the place is rude. She is blunt, for sure, but you should give her a chance, and not bother her too much. I’ve been there many times, and each time she was very nice with me, we even chat a little bit sometimes. The place looks old, and there are no toilets, but the Wifi is good.

When I first walked in, I saw no one behind the counter. Instead I saw someone taking a nap in the corner. I walked out immediately but changed my mind and went back in a bit later. I was so thirsty. The lady wasn’t that bad but the whole place had weird smell and so dark, and dirty. My drink wasn’t so bad but the boba was too hard and a few were not cooked through. It’s not my top choice of boba places(probably on the bottom half) but I guess I could go again only if I have to go to that center for any reason in the future.

The old Asian lady, who I’m assuming is the owner, is very rude. I asked her for a certain flavor of smoothie, n she answered«this is not a restaurant». Then she went crazy and started talking mad shit in her native language. Lol! The place was also completely empty which was surprising for a boba place right next to a school. It’s most likely because of the rude owner and the place looking old and dirty. If you’re a boba fanatic like myself, turn away. Not worth supporting a local business if the owner herself does not know what a good customer service is.

Asked for a honeydew milk tea with boba and got a coffee flavored drink instead. I politely told the woman that I ordered honeydew and would like what I ordered. She rolled her eyes and told me that«this flavor» was more popular anyway and that she asked me twice to make sure the order was correct. She didn’t. I told her again than I wanted honeydew and instead of remaking my drink, she just pushed the brown drink towards me and said«I asked you twice. This is what you wanted» 1. It didn’t taste good at all. 2. If you asked twice, which you didn’t, I would’ve still said honeydew milk tea. I just scolded and walked off with the wrong drink. If you’re in the mood for boba tea, the Boba Loca in Burbank is well worth the drive, don’t go to this one.

Listen to your fellow Unilocalers. The woman running this store is a s***head. Take your business somewhere else.

The lady that runs this place is not very friendly. She comes off as mean and just does not want to be bothered. I’ve visited this place several times with my daughter and my nephews and we hang out there for a few minutes and each time she gives us this look like she doesn’t want us to stay there to enjoy our bobas. This place is almost always empty and I can see why. The last time I was there the place reeked of urine from the outside. Perhaps someone urinated at her door because that’s where we smelled that strong odor, right as we entered. As far as the drinks go, I think they are ok. Not that memorable.

The place smelled slightly of like kimchi(I swear to God) and the owner made me wait 5 minutes before she took my order because she was talking with someone in the back. Milk tea with boba tasted normal.

This place is really disappointing, they don’t charge for the boba because it has no flavor. Their AC wasn’t working when I went in and as a result I had to step out for a little to capture my breath. If you must go to this store just DONOT order Thai Tea; my friends ordered two and they sucked butt. It tasted super watery and the worker said that it was because it is natural. Regardless it was unsatisfactory.

I used to come to this pace all the ten and it was great ! Now this place is just sad, the service is bad, and the place is falling apart. I don’t recommend this place, I much rather go to BobaTime in Korea Town !

Been here a few times. Nothing has been memorable as really good or really bad. Pretty much just an average place. Only really come when I’m trying to kill time waitig for my boo to get out of work. The lady everyone mentioned does seen to have a strong personality but she has always been nice to me.

This isn’t my usual ones that for Boba. This is the second time I’ve been here and of my second bad experience but the little old lady who works here twice that I’ve been here she has been extremely rude yelled at my daughter and would not even let her carry out her own beverage I purchased for her! keep in mind my daughter is seven years old. The first time I came here my daughter with looking in the basket to see what kind of snack she wanted they have a basket next to the register that has chips cookies and crackers and the lady had a yelled at my daughter to not touch the merchandise and I clearly stated her that my daughter was choosing that’s kind of chips you wanted and the lady said she cannot touch the merchandise. Add service twice is enough for me I will not be coming back ever again

She tried to hurry me up to choose what i wanted after i had just got there. She did it a couple of times… and then i felt forced to tell her. I HEARDYOUTHEFIRSTTIME. And another time i really needed to use the restroom and she didnt let me because she said they were closing but it was like 20 minutes till closing time. Ive also seen her treat other costumers the same way. The lady is so rude. I dislike her very much the boba is good but now that i think about it, its not worth it

Its hard to find a place as shitty as this one. I live close by, so I end up buying a coffee there every once in a while — I wouldnt touch the Bobas done by this lady or any of the week-old pastries. Service is constantly shitty, the open later and close sooner than advertised, the lady is just batshit crazy. The place is literally empty everytime I go there, but I still wait for my coffee and even for being serviced. The details make me want to believe that they do a crappy job on purpose — they often run out of supplies, everything looks dirty, stirs only upon request and all the service personnel constantly lurking around in the back. My only explanation for this place still being open is that they run some kind of side scheme for which the coffee shop is only a cover-up. Honestly, this place is as shitty as it gets, you may wanna check it out just for being so ridicolously bad.

I use to love this place because it was the only boba place I had gone too. It had been years since I had stepped inside, but I wanted to come back and see why I use to love it. The lady was really rude and she didn’t want to add two flavors or mix them. You get what is on the menu. You don’t get it your way here. The place is nice though. You can come here to chill with a few friends. There are plenty of tables and chairs that are comfortable. They sell other snacks. She had chips and cookies on the front counter and other drinks. She also sells the smoothies without boba. Parking can be a hassle since there is a bank, a store and fast food place there. There is also a Smart and Final next door that takes most of the parking. Regardless of her being rude that one time I’ll probably return if I’m really craving some boba and I’m near by.

The Korean lady is NASTY. Do not go here! My boyfriend and I walked in and were working on a list of stuff we had to do(he’s moving here in a month) we were planning on buying boba when we had a set game plan. The owner inquired if we were ordering anything and we said yes but in 10 minutes. She pestered us again a few minutes later asking again and we gave her the same answer. Then again I finally said«no, not anymore» since she had been annoying us and making us feel uncomfortable. She even told my bf he couldn’t throw anything out in her store. Wtf? Then she proceeded to scream at us saying that this was a business and we should leave. Mind you we are the only people in her store and she didn’t even say hello to us when we walked in. So extremely rude and mean I was so excited to get boba but I’d rather not have it than support someone so nasty. People saying the Korean owner is a nice lady must be out of their mind.

1.7 stars. Terrible, terrible service. I would never come in here just by judging from the exterior appearance but I came because I have a friend who lives nearby. My drink itself(Almond Milk Tea Boba) was alright but waaaaay overpriced at $ 3.75. Service was nonexistent. The lady had this stinky face the whole time when we were ordering. And after we all got our drinks and sat down, she basically kicked us out by saying, «We’re closed now. We’re closing early today.» Uh huh… yeah you are. It was only 6:10 pm at that time. Dude, you don’t just close up shop whenever you want. That’s why stores have hours, ya know? But it was fine cause it was actually stuffy inside(no AC) and actually much cooler and nicer outside. Win-Win I guess. But anyhoots, that lady… just ridiculous.
