I had the best honeydew milk tea and my family owns a boba shop but ours has a powdery after taste. This honeydew milk tea has been the best and has a smooth taste after. I also love how when I came in, the smell of coffee immediately hit me. I definetely recommend this place for people that love boba and the café feel.

Perfect place for a studying or talking environment. Serves too many options of drinks and the ones that ive tried so far taste absolutely stunning. There are several boba chains in koreatown, and this place definitely serves the best

Definitely a must-try! There are over 70 options to choose from and the service is great!!! I recommend the mango smoothie and the lychee smoothie. My friends had the pistachio smoothie and they say it’s the best they’ve tried. Very impressed with this new shop.

I haven’t tried this place, but wanted to comment on the service as it was quite awful. Craved some boba after dinner in ktown and walked over with my fellow boba fiend to boba king. Oddly, we found the cashier squatting outside under a dark stairway smoking and hanging with a friend. She quickly ran into the store once she saw us and didn’t even make an effort to make eye contact or welcome us. Awkward… The menu looked unappealing with few options under teas, slushes, coffee, smoothies, and milk teas. Prices start on average around $ 3.50 for a regular drink. But the oddest thing was the menu items! Lemonade and Arnold palmers, citrus flavored drinks and caramel smoothies. They also had real teas listed such as English breakfast. This all strikes me as weird at a boba place. I didn’t try the drinks so I gave an extra star in light of that. Parking is tricky in ktown. Good luck.

Boba King caught my eye while I was driving down Vermont. The interior is very simple and there weren’t many people there since it just opened. Parking was kind of hard because the parking lot was blocked off and the other lots were valet. Boba king’s menu was very simple with milk tea and slushees, similar to all the other boba shops around. I ordered the milk tea with boba and was not extremely impressed. Honestly it tasted like boba you can get at restaurants, not terrible and not amazing. The tapioca itself was bland but the milk tea was strong in flavor. Maybe next time I’ll try other teas and flavors but as of right now, Boba King is an okay boba shop.
