Bob The Handyman

Don’t let the name fool you. Bob is far more than a handyman. He is an incredibly talented carpenter who will make custom furniture to your exact specification. We’ve hired him for two custom projects. He built a beautiful window seat with fabulous deep drawers and a large wall unit to match a wine closet. Hiring him means you’ll be collaborating on every detail. He will deliver a high-​end piece for the price promised and within the timeframe designated. You can’t go wrong if you hire Bob!

Bob was a great find in a handyman and really cared about the work he did in our home. We had several projects that we presented him with, and he came with solutions and took care of every single project. The biggest project was improving the stairs we have to our loft. We had a flooring guy who put in hardwood flooring, but just didn’t seem to know how to deal with stairs. Bob came in and made the stairs look a million times better, very elegant and detailed woodwork and finishing work. He also fixed and improved our front door threshold that was also affected by the flooring guy, shaved down our closet doors, patched up walls that needed attention and stained and finished a custom desk for us. We recommend Bob for any home repair, he is considerate, listens to your concerns and then gets the job done. Hardworking and overall great guy. Highly recommend!

I needed a door in a very awkward place. I had 2 other people look at it before him. one said that it couldn’t be done. The other one said that it could only be an accordion door, which wasn’t what I needed.
Finally, a friend recommended that I contact Bob and when he saw it. He took some measurements. came back the next day and built a custom door for it.
It was so brilliant that it looks like a natural part of the house!

Bob did excellent work at our house, we just moved in, so he assembled for us many kinds of ikea furniture. Very professional, fast, patient and polite.

Bob is an outstanding handyman! He came on really short notice to fix a broken door knob and ended up fixing a few other broken things around the house that I never got around to. I’m always weary about people overcharging for simple fix-​it jobs and Bob put me at ease with his professionalism and honesty. I will definitely be calling him for future work around my house and highly recommend his services!
