Blazing Stone Pizza

One of the best pizza places with some of the best customer service out there. El Sereno really needed a place like this. I hope one day they will get pasta so I can have pasta with my pizza, until then keep up the good work. Also if you can maybe create an option for a sandwich one a regular French role that would be amazing

Pizza is really really good! I got pepperoni, sausage and mushrooms and it was delishes! Very friendly staff which is what I look for in a restaurant, quick delivery. This place also has a nice patio where you can eat at. Not 5* because of their menu selections (No Pasta) But if you want your pizza fix, will definitely recommend!

The pizza was seriously delicious. Picked the house dough and rustic sauce — the combination was perfection. The dough was very flavorful on its own. I added the pepperoni toppings and WoW!
The location was also rather clean and well kept!

Got a pizza here for the first time last night and wow. It is some amazing pizza. Got a large with pepperoni and slices are huge. I am trying another one tomorrow. Lol pizza so good can’t get enough. I like getting pizza wasted lol oh only thing would wish if delivery would be faster then 50 minutes but no biggie. Worth the wait!

This is a the new local pizza place. The staff are nice, it’s clean, everything is fresh. Lots of choices. You can order on-​line which is quick and easy. You don’t have to pay at the time of the order which is nice. The calzone is yummy. There’s a decent special of a slice and soda for $ 3.50. The cookies are pretty legit as well. When my kiddo asks for pizza this is my go to place. Too bad they don’t have gluten free. I can only hope that at some point with enough requests the owner will do it

Finally a pizza place other than the corporate powerhouses that typically rule the neighborhood. We ordered a large cheese pizza and a couple cans of soda. $ 20, delivered right to our door in about 30 minutes. Pizza was great, service was friendly. Support these guys!

Best pizza I’ve had in a while. Great customer service. Ordered two single slices of pizza the person who brought them said «He was really sorry our pizzas were a little burnt and we could pick off them or throw them away» I ate them if there burnt pizza was super good you can imagine what the non burnt stuff and he brought us two new pizza slices which were equally if not better.

I liked the experience. Cool spanish music playing in the background. I ordered the margherita 12′ if I spelled that correctly, a slice of already made Hawaiian to kill the hunger, with a Pellegrino. Payed $ 20 flat including a minor tip. Wanted to try their cookies but they ran out according to the gentleman that helped me out. I won’t deduct stars for it but I feel like it needs a touch of personality on the walls. Maybe a quote on pizza, a saying, something. «Less talk, more pizza,» for example. The price is reasonable, the employees were friendly. Found easy parking on the street.

This is a much needed restaurant in this neighborhood. Sandwiches are DELICIOUS. I had the chicken pesto and it was really good. My only complaints would be; too much garlic in the sauce and they should relax Get the orders right and stop apologizing. We asked for a pizza with no cheese which took some explaining and they got it wrong but remade it and gave us our money back and kept apologizing. I saw them do this in another case where they made a mistake and insisted on a refund. The guy said don’t worry about it but they insisted.
Don’t give away the farm you have a good product Relax and reap the benefits of your hard work.

Finally a good pizza joint (that delivers) in El Sereno! This place is definitely my new «go to»!

Ordered pizza for pick up for the first time tonight. It’s so nice to have this new option in the neighborhood.
Got an 18″ double down, 12″ mean greens and pesto focaccia. I love that they have some less-​standard toppings available (artichoke hearts & eggplant, for example). They have 3 sauce options and 3 crust options. I got the house crust and gravy on both pizzas with a side of the blazing sauce. Pizzas were great! The crust is on point. Service was friendly and helpful. I will order again.

Pizza — great. Crispy, chewy crust. Single slices may get a little soggy in the middle since they’ve been sitting around, so a full pizza is the better option.
Sandwiches — my friend had the parmesan chicken sandwich. It was «big and tasty» (at least, that’s what she said.)
Atmosphere — great for a sunny day because of the outside patio. Inside is small so may not be best for groups.

Tried Blazing Stone for the first time yesterday. We’re excited that there’s a cool, new pizza place so near by.
The gentleman who took my order over the phone was very friendly, as was the delivery driver.
When our pizza arrived, oh my! All three of us were impressed. The pizza was delicious! I really liked all the flavors overall. The ingredients were fresh and of good quality.
The only reason I’m not leaving five stars is because there was a mixup with our order that was supposed to be reconciled but wasn’t. Apparently they were having a super busy night.
Will be ordering again.

We needed a Stone Pizza in the area and we finally got it. Pizza is delicious! Staff is great. Very attentive (the owner ran across the room to open the door for someone whose hands were full.
I come from a customer service background and they go above and beyond. They are new and have some little things to fix but they still get 5 for their excellent attitude and there prices are very reasonable.
Great overall experience. I will definitely be back!!!

To start off, I came in here after reading the number of great Unilocal reviews. As well as being apart of the community, I was able to see a beautiful restaurant come together from the bottom up.
I entered and was amazed at the open space and ambience of the restaurant. It was a very relaxing and welcoming vibe that will set the mood for anyone! Very friendly service! I was helped and walked through the menu right away. I love the idea of an open kitchen and being able to see my meal come together.
I ordered a Chicken Chipotle pizza and a BBQ chicken sandwich. Fresh, delightful, and extremely tasty is the only way to describe my meal. Pizza was just perfect. It had the right amount of sauce and you can absolutely taste the freshness from the dough, the cheese, and the toppings. The sandwich was also a satisfying item! I am a huge BBQ fan and the BBQ chicken tastes perfect!
Fast, efficient, and spectacular quality! I absolutely recommend this place!

When I first saw the sign that a pizza place was opening down the street from my house I was ecstatic. I waited and waited for the this place to open up and I somehow completely missed the grand opening. After my best friend came here for dinner I knew I had to try it as well.
The inside is relatively small, about 2 – 3 tables, but there are several tables on the outside. I came in and ordered a Supreme 18″ pizza to go. They told me it would be about 20 – 25 minutes and they weren’t kidding. Pretty much at the 20 minute mark they called me up to grab my pizza. You can ask for pepper, Parmesan cheese and ranch to go, so I suggest you take advantage. That came out to about $ 21, but you can get a 12″ or individual slices as well.
My first thought when I got home and opened the pizza box was that they do not hold back on toppings. They are very generous and extremely friendly so feel free to ask extra of any topping or to customize one of their pizzas. The 18″ pizza is huge and this includes each slice. I could barely hold it with two hands, let alone one. But that first bite will leave you extremely happy you got the large. The cheese oozes off the pizza with each bite and you can tell the toppings are fresh. I had tons of leftovers and even reheated in the microwave the pizza was great because it tasted just about the same, plus it wasn’t stale or overly crunchy. I seriously can’t wait to go back and try some of their other pizzas.

We tried out the first weekend it open and something went wrong with our order. I was told they would redo for us. For the inconvenience they gave us credit for a future visit. I dont normally go back when I encounter any problems even if they offer credit but I understand they had been open a few days and mistakes are common the first few months of operation.
We went back this past weekend and I am glad we did. I had the portobello mushroom sandwich and my husband had the meatball sandwich. We also ordered a peperoni and mushroom pizza. I have no words to describe how amazingly tasty my sandwich was. Pure heaven. Its like they brush olive oil on the top of the bread and they spread pesto sauce and parmesan cheese before lightly baking it. Its a must.
Customer service was excellent and staff is friendly and welcoming. Nice and clean eating area. You have to stop by. Only minor issue is you have to find street parking.

My Experience…
This is a brand new pizza parlor that just opened up just down the street from where I live. I was super excited to see this place transform from an old unused concrete building to the cute place it is today. We ordered delivery for our first experience, the gentlemen on the phone was great and took my order with ease. They had everything I asked for except tea salad. The pizza arrived in a timely manner; however we were upset because they delivered the wrong pizza. The gentlemen on the phone repeated my order to me over the phone which was half pepperoni and half supreme with no olives, the pizza that came was all pepperoni. When I called the parlor about the issue, the gentlemen offered to make another pizza at this point we were all hungry and just wanted to eat rather than waiting another 30 minutes. I asked for a credit and he was kind enough to give that to me.
Now for the review on the pizza…
Pizza was burnt on the top and bottom which you can see in the photo. The crust itself was super chewy and almost cardboard like. There was hardly any sauce, good on cheese and good taste on the pepperonis. All my guest agreed that it tasted burnt and very hard to eat.
The result…
I will try this place again and give a better review if the quality improves and I get the right pizza next time. This place still needs work.

Since the beginning process of the new place, my family and I just had to try out the new pizza place, so I had sent my kids out to get us some. It had taken them quite an amount of time for them to finish it, but it was time wasted. They gave my kids some items within their inventory of food products they had contained as well as the game of Uno to which had kept them occupied. Finally, they had given the pizza but had given us a full twelve inch pizza even though we had paid for five slices since they had made us wait for so long. The kids finally came back home with the pizza and it was quite delectable. It’s not the best but it’s very delicious. They have the greatest customer service my kids have ever seen.
I enjoyed the pizza and this will be our go 2spot.
