I came here for dinner with friends and we were lucky enough to have all 3 chefs of BlackYama cook for us. As a starter we had the AHIPOKE, which was prepared with seaweed salad, and topped with sesame. For our second dish we had a CHILLEDJAPANESEPOUCHEDTOMATO with seaweed salad, shredded crab and this mystery sauce that was amazingggggg! Our meat dish was the GUAVABABYBACKRIBS, and it was so well made that the meat so easily came off the bones. Carbs are definitely a must so we had the PASTABOLOGNESE, and the PESTOPASTA. The overall experience was amazing and I really enjoyed myself. I will definitely be back again for dinner. ENJOY!

Felt privileged to attend the soft opening for BlackYama — Personalized set menus with wine pairings for each course in a casual and intimate setting. Needless to say the food was amazing. Major props to the chefs on all accounts. If I had to pick a favorite dish it would actually be a tie between the wild mushroom bread pudding — best side I’ve had with a roast chicken in a really long time and the pana cotta for dessert — all but licked by plate clean on that one! Over the top food and service earned Blackyama 5 stars in my book! Will definitely be first in line for the grand opening!
