Great clothing at this place, and I always manage to score some kind of deal whether it’s offered by the salesperson or found on their sales rack. I’ve actually gone here enough times that once the salesperson(I won’t say who to prevent any possible backlash from the owner) asked if I could watch the store for a minute while she ran over to their sister store to get something. She gave me a discount so I didn’t mind at all. But even aside from that, the salespeople are always nice and attentive. Great store!

Like previous Unilocalers have stated… If you cannot say no to high-pressure sales, stay out of this place. I wish someone would have told me that before. In Johnny Bs defense(and the beautiful associate who longer works there but whose number I received), I definitely wanted all the clothes that I purchased. But looking back I could have definitely gotten it way cheaper. The boutique is small, but jampacked with fantastic, loud clothes. I’m slowly learning that«european cut» means that i’ll be wearing a 4−6XL shirt that is really an XL or XXL in normal people clothing. Overall the location is perfect, 2 minute walk from Goorin Bros Hat Shop and several other mens shops.

Definitely a spot to be at! My cousin who is up and coming comedian loves to get his duds here, the first time he came here unsupervised he dropped $ 900 on clothes here! With me in tow he didn’t buy a thing, only because he has no job and I had to lay the smack down! He didn’t have $ 110 to be spending on that nice shirt he wanted. The sales folks are slightly pushy and if I wasn’t there, my cousin would have ended up buying that shirt he can’t afford. However, to the credit of the shop, the stuff in there is pretty cool and I wouldn’t mind having my man all dolled up in some of their fits! Also, this spot tends to get hit up by other comedians, when I was in there we ran into Russell Peters!

Man, if you don’t know how to stand your ground in the face of extremely high pressure sales tactics, you’d better stay out of this store. I’m serious, Johnny B will try every trick in the book to get you dropping hundreds and hundreds of bucks on his shit. First, he’ll flatter you. «Dude, you don’t even realize how slick you look right now. You may not see it right now, but dude, when you’re walking into the club and like all the chicks are checking you out in that shirt, you’ll be calling me up to thank me ahahhhahhhh.» When that doesn’t work, he’ll start offering you crazy discounts. «Okay man, listen, because I know you’re a good customer and I know you’re going to tell all your friends to come in, I’m going to give you this shit for 50% off. It’s cool man, no need to thank me.» At this point, you will inform Johnny that you don’t even have that kind of money(discount or not). «Well… Dude, come clean with me, what do you have?» He’ll sell it to you, trust me. Come hell or high water. I made the mistake of taking my decidedly weak-willed compatriot, Jordan M in here. Let’s just say he was«encouraged» into dropping about $ 800 on 2 pairs of jeans and 2 shirts(Johnny gave me like 75% off my jeans for bringing him into the store, LoL). Whoops. I’ve never seen Jordan regret a purchase so much in his LIFE. Apparently, he didn’t even want the shit! This, if nothing else, is a remarkable testament to just how HARD it is to say no to Johnny B. In Black Jack’s defense, the stuff is pretty cool. There’s a lot of stuff I’m not crazy about, but I did happen to find a great stage outfit back when I was performing with a band last year. The same pants and jacket got me through dozens(and counting) of gigs, so I definitely have to give Johnny some credit for making extremely durable shit. Worth a look, as long as you leave your wallet in the car.

Overpriced gear you can find cheaper in other stores. The designer stuff is terribly derivative and the staff are rude as hell. Not recommended.
