Great food with generous portions at a very affordable price! Also, the outside seating area is wonderful. Very quite and calm. Love the breeze as well.

I like the breakfast rice and wraps for breakfast. Also orange chicken and Korean short ribs for lunch. The place is on second floor and the patio is nice.

This is one of those places with a 4.5 star rating on Unilocal because there’s a cute family running it and they give you free stuff. In actuality, it’s an average greasy-spoon with cheap American diner food options(burgers, melts, etc), as well as some Asian food(fried rice, Korean, etc.) mixed in. Got a Tuna Melt for six bucks and change and it was supremely okay. There is some nice outdoor seating overlooking the high school lawn, away from the beckoning of the crazy homeless people that litter Ktown streets.

Hidden gem; kind of hard to find but worth it! They gave my boyfriend and I an extra order of French toast«to share» for free.

Huge place, clean dining area, great food, low cost yet delicious food and enthusiast staff, what can you ask more? One of the best place I been too in its own level, of course you cannot compare them to a huge/giants restaurants or well-known cafes however you can get more of what this typical Bistro is being expected. This is my first time and of course not the last one.

If you’re staying at The Line, Bistro on the Boulevard is the perfect antidote to overpriced/fussy hotel breakfasts. No frills, inexpensive, tasty breakfast and fast. Wonderful staff and homey ambience. Don’t let he randomness of the location throw you off! Venture in, and go for the veggie omelet with avocado and salsa.

WOW!!! I finally found it!!! A place that serves REAL home cooking with many varieties and is soooo delicious. Sometimes I just get tired of commercial food and miss the comfort of home-cooking. This place hits the spot whenever you do feel that way. Love it!!! Keep it up guys! Only bad thing is that the place is difficult to find :(However– it makes me feel like it’s my own little secret dining spot. So I kinda like it at the same time. Thanks for the delicious breakfast

Had a breakfast burrito and enjoyed it at their patio outdoor seating. The guy that took our order was polite and knowledgeable. Nice, quiet, clean and hidden away. If you are in the area make an attempt to stop in. You can even have your food to go.

Beautiful and quiet spot. We came here for breakfast and it was exactly what I wanted this morning. Very large outdoor and indoor seating. The veggie omelet was packed with veggies. So many options. There’s something for everyone. Next time I’ll come with a large group and sit outside!

Bistro is the perfect lunch spot. They have high-quality food at a cheap price. The service is definitely one of the best things about this place. The family that runs this restaurant are incredibly nice people. Highly recommend the breakfast burrito!

Love this place! It’s a hidden cafeteria style place. The food, price and service are awesome! I’ve bought salad, burger and sandwich here before yesterday’s order. I got fries and asked to add bacon bits with it and they were super nice about it. A whole box was only $ 3.95 !! so fresh and so good :) I’m really happy I found this place!

Ok ok. this is not the most original food in Los Angeles. It’s not a themed place. The decoration is minimal to non existent. So why am I giving this place five stars? It’s simple heart + cheap + good food = happy customer. The place is set up like a school cafeteria, but the staff is clearly a family and they are super nice when you come in. You can get a pancake, 2 eggs, and bacon for $ 4.95. It’s plenty filling and they leave the syrup and sriracha bottles in the counter for you to use as much as you’d like. It’s a big space and they have an old tube television with basic cable programming. There is also a small outdoor area for use as well. Nice homey relaxed atmosphere… with the typical sounds and feel of a cafeteria.

Great service and fresh but the food is kinda bland. The potatoes didn’t really have flavor. The toast, bacon and eggs are great. I tried the Bacon Cheese Burger and it was freakin’ good! They ran out of hamburger buns but the wheat bread made it taste just as good. I would go here over and over again. Love it!

This restaurant is a bit hidden so you have to look at the signs and go to the 2nd floor through the side of the building inside the Big 5 building. The food is delicious and made to order so it’s very fresh and what you’d expect from food that is homemade at a very affordable price. It’s obviously not a high end restaurant so you shouldn’t be expecting great ambiance or super fancy meals here but it’s such a great place for a quick bite from breakfast to lunch and seriously so cheap. Definitely worth every penny. Their breakfast burritos and their fried rice is at the top of my list. They give you so much food too. The service is exceptional and the owners are so passionate about there food and restaurant. Check it out!!!

I came here last week on a visit to L.A. for the first time ever!(won’t be my last) and found this cute mom and pop deli on Unilocal. Its a hole in the wall and little hard to find but its definitely worth going to. You have to look for their sign on the outside of this building and go up the stairs, 1 flight to a floor with seating. Then make your way through these glass doors to the left and head thru the door on the right and you’re there! Just follow the sounds of an active kitchen. The owners were suuper friendly and I felt immediately welcomed by them. Super cute people. And their breakfast burrito was on point! Exactly what I needed to fuel up for the hike up to the Hollywood Sign. And exactly how I would cook my breakfast burritos. Nothing artificial. Just fresh good food. Great food. Inexpensive prices. Welcoming owners. I highly recommend it.

Cheap. Delicious. Service. Outside. These four words describe this place perfectly. For $ 5 you get two eggs(cooked in whatever way you want), potatoes, bacon and toast with jam. It’s perfect as a breakfast/brunch and really delicious! The service is just outstanding, really helpful and nice! If you go here around 9 – 10 am you should catch the morning sun! Isn’t that awesome?

I lived in LA for three years, but I am so sad to know this place recently. You can have an amazing fresh and delicious food at an affordable price(actually cheap price). My favorite are Croissant ham cheese sandwich and beef phở(sandwiches I had here are not comparable with those in subway, Togos, and phở soup is soooooo fresh and not cheesy just like phos in other ordinary restaurant). I am pretty sure that you would like whatever you order because they cook all meals sincerely and passionately. I believe that this restaurant is one of the best options for breakfast and lunch near around in terms of quality and price. Oh my god!!! reviewing bistro makes me want to rush into that restaurant!

This place is on the second floor so you gotta take the stairs on the side of the building! There are signs but I never would have known before! Try Parking on the street but it might be hard because the lot is expensive and a hassle. Went here for breakfast and the prices are so good. the family that runs it is also so sweet and kind. Will go back.
