Although biria is not something I crave. But I can see my self being a regular at birrieria tlaquepaque service was awsome and so was the food… For all those Carnivore out there this place will be perfect to indulge in the occasional goat meat… Enjoy

There birria is really good and authentic! I liked the fact you can take your own pot and they will fill it up. I paid 20 bucks for the portion I got and it fed 5 people easily. My only down fall was I had to pay for tortillas which I thought would come free with a big order. Order rice if your into that. Lol overall it was super good and will definitely come back for birria.

The birria here is the bomb! The beans the give are super good too, probably because they use manteca. Anyways the reason for the 4 stars is that lately the service has been a little lagging, it has to do with how packed it gets, but I also think they are under staffed. The food is good though, it’s the only birria place worth going to taste wise.

This is our family’s favorite spot to eat Birria! Tastes just like the one from Mexico. Staff is also very friendly and they served complimentary salsa or beans!

This place is bomb. Literally a small space with crappy parking. But I didnt come for the ambiance and parking — I came for birria!!! It was the best birria I have ever had. Usually you eat birria de chivo and you are burping up the 3 billy goats gruff but this birria wasnt to greasy. It was served with a side of beans and chips and all of the fixings. I washed it down with a mexican coke. I would definitely go again.

Food is very good, I love their salsa, beans, tortillas, birria and agua de Jamaica, but the service isn’t the greatest, the place doesn’t look very clean and the waitress are not clean and neat as they suppose to be for customer service… To avoid all of this little details I just order to go and everybody happy… Lol

Great local spot considering the traffic in that area. Ordered burritos $ 5 each. They accept debit cards. Eating area is very small. There’s also a dine in charge.

Absolutely the best Birria I can find in LA and Orange County. I drive 60 miles just for their Birria and homemade tortillas. This restaurant consistently produces quality that never disappoints. I always choose their Birria with bone in as it adds a little kick to the flavor. They also serve complimentary chips(also homemade) and beans dip. If you can find another place as good as this please let me now because I haven’t found it yet.

Bomb food. This place really reminds me of home. It’s basically your typical Mexican mom kitchen. Straight forward menu low prices. I would come back anytime for lunch. I ordered sopes with carne Asada. Meat was really good cooked and tender not like some other places I’ve gone. So yup 5 stars good job guys

One of my earliest memories was coming to grab some birria to go right after church on Sunday mornings, the birria is really good and the caldo is even better. Everyone should try it once.

Small place. There are two locations right across from each other on the same street. One is more of a restaurant environment and the other one is a very small place with counters and a few stools. More private setting but they serve u faster. Delicious.

I’ve been here twice and the third time i went the lady gave me an attitude and had the guy spit in my f****ing food! I accused them and canceled my order they were in shock and didnt even have shit to say to me, this was at their #2 location. And if you google them they use unsanitary equipment and more disgusting stuff!

I heard a lot of people praising this place. I finally went and I must say, it was just ok Birria. it was too soupy/watery and salty. the flavor was ok but not as rich as I would have liked. If you want better birria, there are 2 places within a 5 minute drive that are better. La Barca, which accompanies their birria with decent rice and beans and excellent homemade tortillas. 2: Birria El Guero on Alameda and Gage. no rice or beans or homemade tortillas. but the birria is pretty good.

Never fails to satisfy! We’ve been here several times and it’s always so good. I love eating the chips with the fried beans and the small birria. Staff is also very friendly. This is definitely a spot to try if you like birria.

Went here for the first time today and ordered the large $ 16 to go cup. Then I realize that the lady who took my order was handling the tortillas with her dirty hands right after she handles money. I think they do this all day and the customers don’t notice. I’m always carefull about stuff like that. I did point that out to her and had the cook himself make a new order for me. Other than that, the birria was good but not the best I’ve had.

First time trying this place. First parking lot is tiny and stacked parking so possible to be blocked. I ended parking on the street. Service was slow as it took about 10 minutes to get menu. Once we ordered food was out quick. I got a burrito de lengua and it was wry flavor and tortilla was delicious. My girlfriend got birria for what they are known for and she said it was ok. On the plus side there I the handmade tortillas.

Goat… It’s what’s for breakfast. Yet another goat craving on a Monday morning and the always helpful recommendations from Pancho V. leads me to the always picturesque Huntington Park area… for some breakfast Birria… made only with the finest goat meat… of course. BIRRIACHICASURTIDA($ 9) Basically a small plate of their mixed Birria in consome(broth)…I like it with some goat ribs and assorted pieces on and off the bone. First come the essential condiments to commence any birria undertaking. Freshly cut limes with chopped white onions and cilantro. The rest of the meal arrives shortly… some decent tortilla chips with a small side of refried beans, a nice helping of hot tortillas and the main event… goat gawdammit. The broth is practically perfect… rich, hot, flavorful and seasonings are just right. The goat is juicy, tender and the appropriate amount of fatty. Tortillas are standard, refried beans are pretty good. Make sure you dress up your birria with the onions, cilantro and some generous squeezes of citrus to bring out all the wonderful flavors… Throw some of this in a tortilla and top it with some«hot sauce» from their squeeze bottles and you will have yourself a damn tasty goat taco my friends. All in all, for my money… this place is neck and neck with my favorite goat birria spot in East LA(Flor del Rio) But don’t take my word for it… come on down to both Tlaquepaque AND Flor Del Rio and decide for yourself! It’s a win/win regardless. Then if you happen to find my tio(uncle) selling paletas(popsicles) outside … tell him you know his nephew Cesar and to give you one on the house… that pinche son of a bastardo owes me money.
