Terrible people here. My mom went to pay her telephone bill here, and THEYSTOLEHERMONEY. She gave the bill and money to the young woman, and after ten minutes, the woman then came out of the back and then asked where the money was! If no money was given her, she would have asked for it immediately and not taken ten minutes AND then coming out and asking for it. It gave her time to hide the money… perhaps in her shoe. We complained to the management, but totally no response to our complaint. No security cameras in the payment area… so you know they are robbing people blind… and don’t care about the public. I would advise people to not shop here or pay their bills. You don’t know what can happen with these unscrupulous people.

I paid my phone bill today. When i gave the clerk some changes,(40 coins 1¢, 1 dime, and a nickle). The clerk was mad at me, and her attitude was really bad. I’ve paid a lot of bills(water, power, gas ect.), and they contained coins all the time, and i never get into this situation before. I think staff should pay more attention on their employees. Thanks.

This grocery store is disgusting from smells to appearance. The smell of raw old meat reals through the entire and store and becomes progressively worse as you head back. The produce is overpriced and surrounded by little fruit flies/knats. The food prices were outrageous for off brand products(ex: $ 9 for orange juice). The customer service was my breaking point. After trying not to puke from the wretched stank I grabbed my few items and checked out w the cashier. The cashier was rude as I should’ve expected at that point. I would avoid this grocery store and go anywhere else for better food, convenience, price & customer service. I wouldn’t go here ever again.

DUDEEEEEE. i just moved to el sereno and i wouldn’t have moved here if they didn’t haev a big saver here too. that’s how deep my love is yo. I mean, it smells like a dead chicken in there, and there is always that ranchera music playing, but damn, for YEARS its been the same friendly chicks working in there, and i can walk out of there with a big bag of veggies for like, 5 – 10 bucks. I freaking LOVE this place. Its funky, it makes you feel like a part of the neighborhood. Seriously, its worth the drive.

Cheapest prices on meats, veggies, and fruits. Nothing will be lower in this area, it’s sort of ridiculous how cheap it is. Cramped parking lot, but who cares? CHEAPCHEAPCHEAP. One time I got a two pounds of onions for a dollar. Just to buy it for that cheap, and I didn’t even eat any. Does that mean I’m anti-environment? Shoot.

Crowded, narrow aisles, awkward parking lot, limited selection. Obviously the perk is the price… On the plus side, the meat didn’t look too bad and the produce was decent, especially for the price.

Gotta love your local ethnic grocer! Where else can you find chicharrones, mole, piñatas, chorizo, duritos under the same roof outside your cousin’s cumpleañanos fiesta?

This grocery store has been in Lincoln Heights for as long as I can remember. The parking is small and it gets super crowded. You can walk out of this place with 2 plastic bags full of fruits and veggies for under 8 dollars. It’s super cheap. I’m always amazed with how far you can stretch a dollar out in the ‘hood’ lol Stick to fruits, veggies and meat. Everything else is just over priced for american products. Better off driving up the street to Smart and Final for those items. Happy Shopping Unilocalers! =)
