I live walking distance to this place and decided to give it a try. A slice is equivalent to 2 – 3 pieces of regular size pizza. I ordered the meat lovers /supreme pizza and my boyfriend ordered the veggie. The pizza was thinner and not all bread like, which is what I prefer. I also advise ordering a side of ranch to dip the pizza. The only reason I give this place a 4 is because the supreme pizza was a bit greasy.

I literally joined Unilocal because of how awful my experience was. This is the second time I’ve ordered in the last few months and both times the order was wrong. I over looked it last time but they were so rude this time. I placed my order around 4pm on a Monday so I’m assuming they weren’t that busy. After spending 15 minutes putting in the order, and exact placement of my apt building I get a call from the driver to come down and get my pizza. There isn’t even a buzzer, or a lock in my building, he just didn’t want to walk upstairs. After a 3 dollar delivery fee plus a tip, he can go up one flight of stairs. I work at a restaurant, I don’t tell my tables to go in the kitchen and get their food when it’s ready, I bring it to them. So, he hangs up on me and I hear him stomp up the stairs, he then flings the pizza and a bag at me and runs down the stairs, my 2 liter of Coke is missing and I have to run after him and yell down the stairs ‘I ordered a Coke’ he stares at me and says ‘Coke? No’ and I say yes and he digs in his pocket for the receipt and stares at it like I’m wrong. Finally he says, maybe it’s in the car. Do you want me to go get it?’ Which my reply is yes. In the mean time I check and there is no ranch. I asked for ranch several times in the online order.(It’s my guilty/trashy pleasure to dip the crust.) He said he doesn’t have it if they didn’t pack it. Okay, fine. He leaves and I see the order is wrong on the pizza. I also see the bottom of the crust is black. I open the Coke and it explodes in my face. This is too many things to ignore so I call and say the order is wrong. The gentlemen who answers seems so annoyed at me and asks if i want another. Yes, yes I do. I tell him there’s no ranch and he argues with me that there is, there wasn’t. He said it will be 25 minutes for another pizza. I go to clean the spilled Coke off my clothes and floor and see I have 7 missed calls from them. I call back and he must know it’s my number and answers hello with no official greeting and seems put out by even answering the phone. He wanted to double check my order but it already went out he tells me.(Like it’s my fault) Okay. Thanks. Cut to the same delivery guy arriving 10 minutes later and when I answer the door he says ‘your order’ and glares at me and shoves the pizza at me and spins around and takes off. And there’s no ranch! And the kicker, I spent $ 42 on this order! If it’s too much of a burden to deliver food, get a new job. If it’s too hard to correct your own mistakes, without any apology and make me feel bad about it, get a new job. If you spend $ 42 dollars to not get your side of ranch(twice) and have the delivery driver glare at you and the guy on the phone be rude to you, and eat burned pizza, get a new pizza place. Which I will. There’s too many good places to eat in LA. Save yourself, and order from Garage Pizza or Cheech’s or Tomato Pie. They are much kinder with better customer service.

Visiting in North Hollywood on Oscar’s night. Who woulda thought we could get full feast from this restaurant delivered! In about a hour. Late night at that! Firstly, Non-gluten pizza — Da Bomb & healthy. Thin and crispy, I loved it with Anipasto salad and oh well some Garlicky wings… Yummy. Everything fresh and made good leftovers next day! Trivia tip: this is the spot Ellen Degeneres ordered from for a previous Oscar soirée, well thats what I heard from reliable source. Tee-hee. Had fun and enjoyed especially since I didnt have to run out in the chill at 11:00pm!

Very good! But don’t ever, EVER order online! Pick-up specials are way cheaper. Spent $ 18 on a three topping medium and a 2 liter. Could’ve gotten a large two topping for $ 11.99. I felt tricked.

Worst service ever! Me and my group of four order two separate orders. I order first a calzone and a slice of pizza. The second order is also a slice of pizza and calzone BUT completely different toppings. We ordered at 7:03PM. We take a seat at a booth and about 10 – 15 mins later we began receiving the food one dish at a time. Sadly for me I waited 50 mins for my calzone. After 20 mins of waiting I reminded the bitchy cashier about my calzone and all she says«it’s coming». I begin to get impatient after my friends finished their food and I complain another time 40 mins later. All the cashier asks me if I want to cancel my calzone. If it weren’t for my hunger I would have canceled. But I waited another ten minutes and finally got my calzone. All the cashier offered was to cancel my order. I showed her the receipt and how long I waited and she had no apologizes what so ever. Complete garbage of a service. The pizza was a 2 stars only because I was hungry and anything is good when hungry. They don’t offer any deep dish only thin crust. The portions are huge but food quality is just ehh. This place doesn’t care for the ambiance nor the service. The kitchen had over 3 men and yet they couldn’t make the calzone any faster. The place was dead so yes I was pissed about how long it took for a mediocre calzone. Find another pizzeria because this one is out to disappoint.

The pizza for me is a hit or miss. Sometimes it’s kind of hard and dry; other times it’s soft and delicious. Anyway, I love BMP because of their extensive menu! You can order pizza, cold sandwiches, hot sandwiches, wings, fries, mozzarella sticks, onion rings, salads, and pastas! There are even more that I fail to mention here. They are open until midnight and they DELIVER! You can even place your order on Unilocal through EAT24. I live pretty close but I was too lazy to walk over there. I placed my order at 11pm and received it at 11:30 :) I ordered the Philly Cheese steak supreme sandwich with a side of fries and an order of mozzarella sticks! Came out to $ 20 The food totally hit my midnight craving of cheese, meat, and fried stuff! They gave a generous portion of both fries and mozzarella sticks. The cheese steak was cut in half so I split it with the bf. The cheesesteak had gooey cheese and tons of meat, onions, mushrooms and peppers. I would totally recommend it! So if you get the late night munchies and you are in the area, make a call to Big Mamas and Papas! Or head there whenever ;)

WOW! Hands down: BESTPIZZAEVER! Individual slices of pizza, baked fresh to order. I had the BBQ chicken and it was perfect. Thin crust and crunchy, fresh chicken and house made BBQ sauce. Mom had the meat lovers slice and they were quite generous with the meat! Boyfriend had the combination pizza slice and it was delicious. Fresh veggies and full of flavor. Overall, best pizza we’ve ever had. We don’t give five stars very often!!! Note: SLICESAREGINORMOUS! Come hungry and ready to eat. Slice is bigger than a Costco or Sam’s Club slice of pizza

Probably the worst pizza I have had in my life. If you’re European and have had pizza anytime back home, this is NOTHING like that! The dough is the consistency and taste of cardboard, the Margherita has loads of garlic on it and the mozzarella is in paste form and has a weird sweet taste to it. Their pizza is funky to say the least and horribly inedible to say the worst. Never again. Again, if you’re European and looking for a good pizza stay away! Make your own, you should be better at it.

You know, I always thought my people sucked at making pizzas. Armenians may know how to bake awesome breads but they need to realize pizza dough ain’t the same! That theory applies here. Wish they’d invest time in improving the crust but it is what it is. Some dense shit. Greasy pies with sucky crust on the cheap. More like in the two star range but I felt like being generous today.

Wow, the people here are beyond unprofessional. I called in an order for delivery and told them I only had a $ 100 bill and needed change. I was assured the driver would have change. When he got here he didn’t have change and said«I’ll be right back with it» as of he was going to the car. I watched from my patio as the driver got in his car and drove off. I called and they acted like he did nothing wrong and would be back with change. What says I have time for that? Then when he eventually came back, the portly driver tried to argue with me about blindly trusting him to leave with my money without asking. I will never give them my business again.

Awesome place. Affordable great pizza. They always make it quick. I also know they always deliver quick as well. Plus they have gluten free and whole wheat crust options. Price is right and they also offer a huge giant Sicilian pizza that’s 54″ x 54″ that could be more fun then just the typical caterer for your next party. A good no frills pizza place is a staple in any neighborhood and these guys do the trick.

I’ve heard about this place for some time because I get flyers at home, and I think this is the same place that Ellen got her pizza delivered during that one award show.(This is how much I know about American pop culture.) I decided to stop by here for lunch one day, because I was waiting for my haircut appointment and remember that there was a branch on the edge of Thai Town/Little Armenia. For starters, I was going to order two slices because I was kind of hungry, and luckily for me, I read the sign that says one big slice equals three regular slices. Since the cashier was taking a phone order, one of the chefs(who I think is the boss) took my order of buffalo chicken pizza. Even though my slice was made to order, I didn’t have to wait too long for my order to come out, which was greatly appreciated. I wasn’t too thrilled with the pizza choice I made; the chicken was a bit on the dry side and I felt there was something missing on the pizza. Maybe more cheese? Maybe there needed to be more umph in the sauce? However, I left half of my slice to munch on later, and did noticed a big different in flavor when the slice had an hour to cool down. Don’t know if I want to try this place again, but at least I can say I gave it a shot.
