BFF Thai Recipe

I love Thai food, but was sorely, sorely disappointed by this truck. Took a LONG time to get food, then the order was wrong (beef instead of chicken), the egg noodles were one solid congealed mass, and the flavor just wasn’t there. Can’t recommend.

Ugh, sad that I wasted $ 10 on this food truck. There wasn’t a whole lot of choice on this particular day and I generally like Thai food so decided to give it a try. The B grade and the fact that the woman who took my order spoke Thai made it seem promising. Then came the 20 minute wait — if only the food had been worth it. I ordered the kao soi and can’t speak to its authenticity since I’ve not had it before, but it was terrible. The soft noodles at the bottom were completely overdone to the point of being mushy. The raw broccoli and carrots were unappealing. The flavor was pretty decent except that there was a big hidden lump of a very salty fishy paste in one corner that I would have avoided had I known about it.
Would not come back.
