I like their food and everything about them. The reason I don’t put 5 stars is that their quesadillas aren’t as good now with their imitation cheese gonna lay off for a while

Decided to try this place since it is near my mom’s house and looked like there is always a crowd. Got carne asada tacos, I was not happy with them at all, they had the fat from the meat, it seem as if there was more fat than the actual meat. Next day I felt a little sick and nauseas. Definitely won’t be trying their tacos again. I did however like their Horchata it was pretty tasty and on point.

Pretty sure this is the truck I frequent on Redondo & Washington, not Jefferson. Regardless, I think they make my favorite Al Pastor taco in the city. Leo is nice for a change every now and again, but they’re only great on the weekends. Betos is great every damn night. I can’t recommend anything other than the Al Pastor though because that’s literally all I get here. I tried their chicken and asada many years ago and it was just ok. Also, for the best deal in town, go there Thursday nights for the 2 for 1 special on Al Pastor tacos.

BESTTACOANDBURRITOINLA! This homemade amazingness is the best taco truck. I am a huge fan of their hot sauce and the overabundance of flavor in their meat. Highly recommend anything carne asada! We are regulars here and they never fail to make us feel at home with a good meal. The staff are friendly and the really care about their customers.

Tried these guys twice bc they’re conveniently close to home. First time was just ok. Second time, the Carne asada quesadilla gave me stomach issues. Won’t be going there ever again.

I’m very picky when it comes to tacos. Nowadays, every one and their mama’s are having taco trucks. And it’s hard to find an authentic Mexican taco stand or truck! I came to stop herw on my way to pick up my son from his friend’s house. My older son saw the truck and feening for some tacos. I didn’t want to deprive him from any food since he was hungry, so we went inside the lot. Luckily there’s parking within the lot. Went up to place our order and waited near. I can smell the meat cooking, onions grilling and freshly made tortillas. My son ordered 5 carne asada tacos and I ordered 2 al pastor. When we received our orders, included were the grilled onions and peppers. I took my first bite and hands down, thses tacos were delicious.

I come here pretty often for a quick dinner. The tacos are great as well as the burritos and tortas. I have recently tried their quesadillas with meat which are also delicious. And the selection of toppings is great! Prices are very inexpensive, service is great and food is delicious. What more can you ask for?

Wow. For a food truck and for the price, this place is great. The carnitas burrito was among the best I’ve had in LA.

I’ve passed by here several times, and I finally managed to stop. Not bad. I actually give it a 3.5. I had 3 carne asada tacos and 2 pastor. The carne asada itself isn’t seasoned as well as I’ve had in other places and its a little fatty for my liking, but when you add cilantro, onions, and the green sauce, it makes one tasty taco. The pastor was good by itself, but I added cilantro & onion anyway. They go for $ 1.25 each along with a nice array of condiments. Lots of people here at 9:45pm on a Friday, and I understand why. I may come back for the pastor and possibly try the carnitas too.

When you’re in the mood to ‘street’ it, this might be just the thing. Been here twice(Washington Bl. and Redondo — NOT Jefferson). The asada tacos are decent(far from the best I’ve had, but comforting) and only one dollar each. The usual condiments outside the truck, nice cooks and staff. The thing to do is eat in the parking lot and bring some refreshments to have with. Affordable and fun if you’re with friends and want that ‘street vendor’ vibe.

Not into eating off of trucks, but when I want something cheap and good or craving a cheap taco I go to Beto’s. My little sister introduced me and I keep going back. The truck shows up around 6pm, but I am unsure how long they are on Jefferson. The people are as friendly as you’d expect(I don’t speak spanish), but they’re okay. I’ve ordered carne asada burrito($ 4), lengua and asada tacos($ 1 each). I love the tray of condiments they offer. The pickled onions and peppers are SO good.

$ 4 burros de asada! Woot-woot! I f*cking LOVE their food and it’s sooo close to my house. I had one of their burros last night and OMG so good! I seriously prefer this over that Chipotle crap.

I love this taco truck. It’s a perfect dinner or late night spot for me and I’ve been visiting since I moved to the area three years ago. They’re located just west of La Brea(as mentioned on previous reviews on Jefferson and Redondo). What’s great about this is that they’re parked there from around 6ish and THEYSTAYTHERE. No chasing trucks around, which is an activity I despise– I’m not a foodsick puppy, I will not chase you. Even when the taco truck disputes erupted, thanks to our wonderful Board of Supervisors, Beto’s stayed put. My understanding was that they rented or owned their spot, which I overheard one of the guys explain. When you visit at night, you can’t miss it because there’s the trailer, a truck, and a generator that lets out a bright beam of light. Parking usually isn’t a problem– it’s limited because there are lots of driveways, but people parking usually stop and go so you’re bound to find something. The guys in the truck are laid back, take your order, and quickly put it together. I don’t know how they keep track of all the different meats and numbers, but they’ve never messed up an order(take that, McD’s– seriously, get it right sometimes!). Their salsas are all delicious and they put out plastic cups and bags for onions and limes(they know what’s up). All of the tacos are out of this world. I always have to order at least one: Pastor Asada Lengua Suadero Carnitas so that puts me at a minimum of five tacos, not including the additional meats I might throw in from time to time. Oh, and sidenote, since this is an industrial place, don’t be surprised by the neighboring junkyard that has ferocious dogs lurking behind the gates. The gates look safe and they only run up, I’m sure, because they’re hating on the fact that you’re about to chow down on delicious ass tacos and they’re chained to a gate.

Yep, it’s pretty good. I’ve had the asada, pastor, and carnitas tacos($ 1 each). Tonight I am going to try the burrito($ 4) — pretty excited about that! I like how clean the truck is and you get to watch the guys in their matching red aprons make your stuff through the plexiglass window. Lots of self-serve salsa, the avocado is yummy! They get to the location at about 5:30pm each day.

Have yet to get something here that wasn’t good. Even the burritos are great, because the rice and beans have plenty of lard in them! Has a great selection of self-serve salsas, cebolla y cilantro, lime, etc. Definitely the best taco truck in the area, much better than the several you’ll find just north on Adams. Dinner only! Not around at lunch.
