For a hood spot to eat, cheap eats food is decent, specializing in teriyaki flavors in the chicken and beef, I ordered the beef teriyaki plate with the salad thousand island dressing is what you get with yellowish chile peppers,(not a fan of hot food) been comming here for over 15yrs think it has changed ownership once

The only down side is that they close at 6:30pm. Their ingredients are always good unlike old fast food tomatoes and lettuce. The portions are more than enough to fill you up.

I always order a bacon cheeseburger and it is delicious! The burgers here taste homemade, the sauce is also very good and the food is always fresh. They also give you a lot of fries for your buck.

Stopped here today after my Zumba workout(That’s what I get!) My daughter has been wanting to try it so we did. First off, the guy at the window was pretty irritated because I couldn’t understand anything he was saying. I was polite about it, but could tell it was making him mad. We ordered the double bacon burger(cut in half), a taco, fries(well done) and onion rings. Get home, the fries are not well done, onion rings were actually very good. Burgers not cut in half. Taco drowned in hot sauce. As for the burger, I never thought anyone could make a hamburger patty thinner than McDonalds. I promise you this patty is as thin as a paper plate.(not exaggerating) luckily we ordered the double, and that was probably the size of a normal thin patty. There was another reviewer that said this was close to In and Out? No way!!! This burger was a punishment as I know I should have been eating a salad! When I blow calories on a burger, this will definitely NOT be the spot. Mo’ Better Burger here I come!

For $ 5.90 you get a double cheeseburger, large fry s and drink. Fries: Good, standard fries. Greasy and salty. Burger: Standard corner stand burgers, cheap pre made patties, standard toppings. Capital Burgers on Pico is actually a notch above this joint. But when your lazy and hungry, this place gets the job done without a dent in the pocketbook. I always hear people ordering teriyaki chicken or teriyaki tacos. I have not tried neither.

It doesn’t beat In-out but it’s so there though. Enjoyed my food. Fries(my weakness) was on point.

Best Burger is my neighborhood burger joint. I have not been here much recently but I have been here from time to time in the past couple of years. Not only do I live in the neighborhood but I also work a few blocks away. Usually some of my co-workers will come here for lunch and I’ll pitch in a few bucks to order a Burger, Fries and Drink. Today for lunch I decided to stop by and order some Chili Cheese Fries. The food here isn’t the greatest compared to other little Burger shacks but I enjoy it here never the less. Best Burger for some one who has never been here might find it under impressive as the shack is not only really small but every single window is closed with metal screen and the only open(order) window is pretty small(kinda gives you an idea of what the neighborhood is like). This would almost be an ideal place to hide in a Zombie Apocalypse. Best burger is pretty much hit or miss and some one might either love it or hate it. If you are not sure about coming here, I recommend try them at least once and you be the judge. One piece of advice I would give though is to call ahead and place the order for pick up as sometimes there could be a few people waiting to order and the wait can take a few minutes.

Used to come here when I used to live near by. These burgers are similar to burger palace minus their dressing.(Or maybe I’ve never asked for it.) This place looks like its on lock down for all the metal railings on the windows/bordered up walls. You order from a crevice hoping the cooks inside have enough light to cook my burger safely. I am a sucker for seasoned fries and I always request them to put extra seasoning. Other than that this place has average prices and quick service.

This place is so good! I love their burgers, and yes it might look sketch from the outside but the food is worth it. My favorite burgers in the area :).

I live around the corner from this place and always wondered about it. I got the cheeseburger special. The burger was an astroburger type burger, with the thousand island dressing, lettuce, tomato and onions with a thin patty, this patty was super thin. The burger was really small, what I could taste of the small piece of meat tasted OK, it also had a ton of lettuce. I would go back if I was low on funds since I live close. My order was $ 4.97, the fries sucked, shoestring fries with seasoning salt, no potato taste. Ironically, the best part of the meal was the coke it was fresh, crisp and cold! Everyone seemed to be ordering teriyaki beef tacos or teriyaki burgers.

I had a good burger here. Fries are about average. Not much in the way of parking, and I am pretty sure it is cash only. Decent menu selection.

If you love tacos then you have to try the Teriyaki Beef Tacos. So Delicious. If your not into red meat you can order in chicken. Don’t be derailed by appearance. Its a little shack on the corner.

I first came here back in high school. After trying it for the first time, I was hooked on their burgers! I come here when im craving a burger. For less than 5 bucks you can get a cheeseburger special. and believe me, you might think a cheeseburger is not alot of food, well for those of us that like more than a cheeseburger, but this meal will get you full.

After driving by this shack numerous times and wondering if it was any good, finally went the other day. Ordered cheeseburger combo. Liked the cheeseburger a lot. It was cooked charbroiled style, the way I prefer. Fries seemed sort of seasoned. Plus tax, the combo was only $ 4.97. Thumbs up.
