I have to say I am very disgusted by the way I was treated today and I am never coming back again. this was my go to liquor store and I went at least twice a day here. I usually take my bike there and bring it in so that no one will steal it and so that I don’t have to chain it up since I already know what I’m gonna buy and I do everything quickly. Today however there was a man playing scratchers where I place my bike so I placed it close to some chips rack and I made sure it was placed right so I wouldn’t crush any of them and the cashier a guy that knows me as he sees me every day just flips out and screams«hey what are you doing?! Your gonna crush all the chips! !!» I know I messed up so I even said sorry to him and then he was such a dick you guys don’t even understand how embarrassing this was I felt so bad! And if it that wasn’t bad enough he was screaming saying«what you can’t afford a $ 10 bike chain?!» I do have a chain but my shopping is quick less than 1 min but whatever. He could’ve been alot nicer about it especially since I was a loyal customer. Stay away from this place they don’t value their customers. I’m proud to say I know go to theblue liquor store on Hazelwood and York blvd. It’s 1 block closer to me and the staff appreciates my business.

This place is horrible. They don’t take care of the property at all and have let graffiti cover the walls and windows. The parking lot and front are covered with trash and on the weekends homeless people sleep in the coves on the store front. Weeds and garbage everywhere. Gross. There are several«nice» liquor stores in the area with better prices and clean/safe buildings. If they cleaned up the property and actually cared about the community, this place would have potential.

Dreadful. Dirty. Dishonest. Incompetent. Rude. If these are adjectives that appeal to you, then Bert’s Liquor is your destination. Can’t understand how they’re still in business. Agree with the Uhaul complaint several others have posted — they’re absolute thieves. STAYAWAYFROMTHISPLACE!

This place is terrible to rent a Uhaul from — STAYAWAY– he rented us a car dolly that was broken and we almost were in an accident when it fell apart going up Sunland Blvd. I had to ASK him to come out and show me how to use the dolly because I had never used one and had no idea what I was doing. He was not very helpful ATALL. He sold us a used lock and put it on the truck backwards making it even more difficult to remove after we drove a few miles to storage. I have rented Uhaul’s in the past from very helpful, considerate places and this was the absolute worst experience ever with Uhaul! Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this place. They are not helpful in any way shape or form.

This is a very unprofessional place to rent u hauls. I drove in total 8 miles, checked it on google maps, and I was charged for 23 miles. Mileage must have been not been updated when I rented the van and now I’m out some money.

DONOTCOMEHERE! Even if you live next door, you will spend an eternity at this location. While waiting over 45 mins to be helped with a U-Haul reservation with only ONE party in front of me, I noticed products here well beyond their expiration dates. The operators do not know how to spell, operate the register, computer, websites, or keyboards. Who types with their index fingers these days? Even while being helped, we were constantly interrupted and delayed by people trying to buy alcohol. I wanted to guzzle down some Jack Daniel’s to make the mental anguish go away. They are sneaky with their charges and add-ons, as well. Go to the Raymond or Glendale location, or die here.

We called to get a quote and were quoted $ 39.99 plus tax for what we needed(moving some things less than 10 miles away). The night of the move we noticed that the invoice showed $ 150 in charges. We went back to the store and were told not to worry it was only an estimate and once done moving to just drop off the truck at their nearest location(no exact location given) and so we did. Our debit card later showed $ 200 in charges when I called to inquire about it, I was told it was because we dropped off the truck at the wrong location. They had set us up on a one way trip with a flat fee and since they hadn’t assigned an exact drop off location, the place where we dropped off the truck charged a $ 40 fee. The liquor store attendant also tried charging us for the dollie which he never mentioned was not part of the package. I called UHAUL’s corporate office noting deceptive practices and was given a full refund. Sad that some people resort to stealing from others to make a living. UPDATE! After contacting UHAUL’s corporate office, this location is no longer a UHAUL rental location. Thank you UHAUL’s for putting a stop to this shop. Glad you save others from being robbed of their hard earned money.
