If you are in the area, stop in and eat here. You won’t regret it. The pork adobo grilled cheese is amazing. Side of tots with it and a beverage and you’re smiling all day. If you aren’t in the area, get in your car or on public transit and get in the area so you can eat here. Yup. It’s that good. You can trust me on this. In 4th grade I was elected Fire Marshall at my elementary school. That means I was trusted with pulling the fire alarm for practice drills. Yeah. I’m still humbled by their trust in me to this day.

Pretty delicious hotdog if I do say so myself. Got the oxtail hotdog, not a hint of the kare kare peanut butter sauce, still pretty good. They top it with black beans, a drizzle of some white cream(spin on cotija perhaps), and some green onion, jalapeño, and cilantro. The sauce is closer to an adobo(Filipino style) than a kare kare. Also ordered the the sisig tater tots for my girlfriend. Not sure what she’ll think. The calamansi juice helps cut through the richness of the food. For a drink and two entrées, I paid a little over $ 22 including tip. Park on the street or in the tiny lot in the back.

Don’t let the seemingly-empty storefront fool you! There are probably people like me grubbing on rich, delicious Fil-Am fusion in the back dining area! :) Came here with two girlfriends, and ordered most of the things on the menu to share: Longanisa Grilled Cheese, Pork Adobo Grilled Cheese, Sisig Tots, and one of each taco. The highlight of the meal for me was the Longanisa Grilled Cheese. SO rich, greasy, and garlicky. If those three adjectives don’t make your mouth water, Belly & Snout probably isn’t for you, though. Don’t forget to order some calamansi juice to wash it all down. As calamansi juice typically does, Belly & Snout’s runs on the overly-sweet side. You can definitely grab a water cup to dilute it as needed and/or share with someone else. My friends and I are pretty big eaters, but we left a few bites of our order. While delicious, everything was pretty heavy in our tummies and we wanted to save some room for dessert. I would 100% come back here. Salamat!

I ordered the pork adobo grilled cheese($ 6.25) and the sisig fries($ 8.25) and both were delicious. My only gripe is that the sisig portion was very small. Both items came out hot and and crispy. The fries stayed crispy despite having so much stuff on it. The bread on the grilled cheese had such a good crisp that you could hear the crunch from someone taking a bite at the next table! It definitely has a fast food joint feel to it(you order at the counter and wait for your number to be called) and there aren’t too many tables so during prime dining hours, the dining area may fill up quickly.

3.5 stars. Came here right when it opened. You order in the front, then go all the way to the back where the seating area, pick up window, and bathrooms are. Longanisa Grilled Cheese (house made sausage, white bread, American cheese)-hubby got this and liked it Pork Adobo Hot dog (braised pork, boston style bun, all beef hot dog, garlic crema, radish, green onion)-super yummy and a good portion. A bit messy, but that is the way to go. Full of flavor! Sisig tater tots (pork, fried egg, red onion, chicharron, green onion, garlic crema)-even with all the stuff on top, the tater tots were still super crispy! My type of place! I can do without the fried egg. Not everything is good with an egg. Sorry to say. the two buck taco (as simple as it sounds, with your choice of chicken adobo, pork adobo or pork sisig)-bland. can skip.

I really didn’t know what to expect. I’ve had a lot of the Filipino foods by itself, but never had it with tater tots. I got the sisig tater tots! Tater tots were great and crunchy. I love the chicharon and sisig. The egg was warm and gooey and oozing with delicious yolk. Make sure you squeeze some calamansi for a special citrus kick. Service was awesome and food came out quick. Great place!

We only had the sisig tater tots since my wife wasn’t hungry, so unfortunately I wasn’t able to try much. I was mostly impressed by the presentation: beautiful colors with kumquats, radish, and green onion. However, the dish just didn’t work for me. The sisig and tots didn’t play off each other very well, both are kind of mushy, and nothing really stood out flavor-wise. The beautiful toppings didn’t lend much flavor wise, just a little bit of texture. The proprietors are really nice though. Parking is a bit hard.

PROS: –backroom with the tables is spacious –nice main sign CONS: –food –cleanliness SUMMARY: From the look and decore of the restaurant it appears that this is an offshoot of a food truck venture. Unfortunately the food also hasn’t progressed from the level of a food truck. While eating food of this variety is quaint off a back of a food truck, it just doesn’t cut it for a sit down eatery. I am surprised that this place has gotten such a good Unilocal review. Would not recommend.

If your filipino roommate says it tastes like filipino food despite the fusion, then you’d better expect it to be good. I had heard much about this place and I was pleasantly surprised and extremely full. Some of the most savory tater tots and sausages ever. I don’t even know, but these«hot dogs» were pretty luxury in my tastebuds. I forgot what a lot of our orders were called, I only remember how amazing everything tasted. I also did take out so I wish I had more to say about Belly & Snout but know that it’s pretty good.

Your favorite American comfort food with a twist. A filipino twist that is. The food here was really interesting. All the flavors meshed well and the food is of good quality. The store itself is tiny but it’s the kind of food you get to go. They have hot dogs, sandwhiches, and fries. There’s sisig and longanisa. Definitely a must try if you love Asian fusion foods.

Hot diggity dog, this is fusion done right! Belly & Snout takes this lowly staple of American cuisine, the hot dog(or grilled cheese, or fries, or tots), and beautifully melds it with Filipino food. Who knew you could find this in K-Town? I didn’t see a parking lot, so try your best to find street parking. I found some in a residential area not too far away. Initially, it looks like a pretty small place, but the people there invited us to go to their dining area in the back. Since there was nobody there and we were planning on taking it to-go, we just stayed in the front. The owner(?) is really nice! I saw a combo deal and asked if it applied to the hot dogs, and he said it didn’t but he could give it to me anyway. So, I ordered a Sisig Dog($ 8.25) with tots and a drink. The prices are a little high, but comparable to similar places. After all, it used to be a food truck… and we all know how sky high those prices are. Although we were the only two people ordering, it took a while for the food to come out. But you will understand after you see the careful way the food is arranged to be pretty and presentable. If only I could properly rhapsodize about how delicious the Sisig Dog was! Such bold, intense flavors! It also comes with a calamansi to squeeze over the dog, lending a nice citrus-y bite. I couldn’t figure out how to handle it properly with my hands because everything was falling all over the place, so I just fork and knifed it. Some fusion food manages to just become a bastardization of both worlds, but this dog paid tribute to each. The tots were perfectly done, so I can only imagine what would happen if they were to be topped with more deliciousness. I only wish I had more time to properly savor the meal. Belly & Snout makes my belly and snout happy campers! Food: 5, Service: 5, Environment: 4, Price: 3

LOVETHISPLACE! So my boyfriend found this place here on Unilocal and we’ve been trying to come here for awhile now but haven’t got the chance to ’til yesterday. Came around 1 pm and the place looked clean and surprisingly it was not packed at all. The friendly owner greeted us and took our orders right away. As you walk in you’ll see about 3 tables where you order your food and think where am I going to sit? Don’t you worry, there are plenty of tables next door(you just have to walk down a hallway). We ordered sisig tacos, adobo tacos, chicken tacos, oxtail chili dog, sisig hot dog, sisig tater tots and sisig fries with kalamansi juice as well. The order took about 15 – 20 minutes to come but they’re worth the wait! Everything tasted amazing! My favorite are their sisig fries/tater tots and the oxtail chili dog(kare kare hotdog). Highly recommend this place. Great service and amazing food! Definitely coming back here.

Umm very yummy! Such a great fast food place ish type of restaurant! The entrance is a bit weird since there are only about 3 tables at the front of the restaurant, but if you exit you can enter the backside of that restaurant where there’s plenty of tables there(which is what we did). You order first and then they call your number to give you your food. My friend and I shared the Pork Adobo Tater Tots ummmm soooo good! I ordered the chicken adobo grilled cheese. I have to say that it was good but I kind of felt guilty eating it so I didn’t finish it all. It’s a bit greasy and not healthy, BUT it was good though! No complaints as far as taste. Service is good, parking is not the best you just have to look for street parking around there.

My second time around wasn’t as salty as the first, woohoo! I tried out the Longonisa grilled cheese and it was pretty good. Not as salty as the Pork Adobo grilled cheese. The Longonisa meat was actually sweet. The meat reminded me of eating nem neoung — the reddish pink sweet charboiled pork — Vietnamese luncheon meat. I also tried their oxtail tater tots. The shredded meat was soft and rich and yummy! Topped with sliced jalapenos, parmesan cheese, sour cream and cilantro. Served with a San Pellegrino Limonata Drink — that citrusy drink was refreshing! Sadly, they didn’t have AC turned on at their back dining area today –_– You also need a key to use the restroom back there.

Ohhh… I wish I could give this place 4 stars. Really, I do. If you like some greasy cheesy goodness, you should check the place out. Their Pork Grill Cheese and Oxtail Tater Tots were really delicious. Service was friendly. Nothing fancy, but they had enough sitting area in the back. Parking can be a pain, but I managed to grab a street parking right around the corner. Now, why just 3 stars? It really may be a personal thing, but I hated, really hated how the place smelled. I walked into the place expecting some greasy and buttery aroma. Nope. It smelled like bathroom cleaning product. I’m not sure what some smaller restaurants use to clean, but this smell is, unfortunately, not so uncommon. And I hate it. I would’ve enjoyed the food much more if the place didn’t smell like that. I don’t know… I might give this place another try one day. It’s really good. I just hope that it won’t smell the same way then.

Was in the area and stumbled upon this on Unilocal and bookmarked it, vowing to come back. Yesterday at lunch, was joined here by husband and friend and got to try. Parking: There’s a side street with street parking, but its NOT a nice area. Meaning, lots of broken glass, old couches sitting on sidewalks, men sitting around loitering. Location: You order up front and they have only a couple tables in the front area. They have additional seating in the back and the ring a bell at a window in the back when your order is ready. The back area is stuffy(no windows). When we arrived there was only 1 table left that could accommodate a party of 3. They were a bit understaffed, so I think it took a little longer than usual. Food: Pork Adobo grilled cheese: Excellent. Chicken Adobo grilled cheese: Very Good. Sisig Tater Tots: Excellent. Pork Adobo fries: Very Good. Not healthy for you, but this is all about comfort! No alcohol. They do have soda & water. Although their adobo isn’t as good as my mom’s(haha!), it was still soo good. I only wish they would find a better location.
