What is there not to love about Beard Papa’s. Love this place. There cream puffs are the best. I like how their cream filling is not overly sweet and the bread is flakey but yet still soft. They also have really good macaroon too. Alot of flavor to choose from.

I love beard papa’s! It’s one of my favorite dessert places and it really satisfies your sweet cravings. I got the … 1. Original puff with vanilla cream($ 2.10): it’s basically a puffy bread/pastry type of thing that’s filled with vanilla cream inside. You can ask for ice cream or whatever you want, but I personally really like the vanilla cream! It’s a little pricey for one piece of bread with a filling, but it’s worth it!

Good place to get dessert after dinner. It is conveniently located in a mall area down the street from my hotel. They are known for their cream puffs. Every day they have a different flavor special. When I went, the daily special was green tea. So I ordered an original cream puff and a green tea one. They have different style puff shells as well. You can get regular size or mini, which is like a third of the regular one. When you order, they fill the shell with your flavor with the machine. Both flavors were delicious and creamy.

I love love love their cream puffs! Their regular size is a perfect size! Their regular flavors are vanilla and chocolate — both pretty amazing! Depending on the day it is they have their special flavor of the day. The cookies and cream is absolutely delicious! Their prizes are pretty fair, regular size puffs are $ 2.10 each but when you purchase more than 12 you get a $ 3 discount. We’ve taken these puffs at various get togethers and it’s always a hit.

While I love the cream puffs don’t plan on this place opening on time. They didn’t expect to have anything ready until 20 minutes after their posted store hours. What a waste of time.

Beard Papa’s cream puffs are legendary in the world of cream puffs. Their regular size is the perfect size to indulge your monstrous appetite for something sweet without that sugary taste. Although I must admit that I am not mesmerized as I was before with their cream puffs, they still have a sweet spot in my heart… Or is that tummy? Service is solid with smiles, so no complains there. Nearest Metro Station: Purple Line at Wilshire/Western

Love their puff bakeries, I have tried different flavors but I think the original is the best. It is so fluffy and creamy but not too sweet. I like how they have the puffs ready and fill it in when you order, so they don’t get soggy.

Amidst a warm, airy, and crispy snow-capped shell lies a delightfully chilled creamy concoction adorned with vanilla bean speckles.. You’ll slip into pure euphoria w/the first bite~~~ Beard Papa’s cream puffs are the one and only cream puffs I’ll eat! I’m obsessed with everything they have!

Beard Papa’s is a chain of cream puff bakeries from Japan with the biggest cream puffs I’ve ever seen. This location is in the CGV plaza with an Hmart, Daiso, and a parking structure adjacent, just across the street from the Wilshire/Western metro stop. The staff is great — super friendly and helpful, and the store is very clean. Seating is limited, although it seemed like no one ate in. Beard Papa’s was very empty when I went. You can choose from 5 shell types(original, cookie, éclair, cocoa, paris brest), which are just over the size of your fist, or the Minis which are about 1⁄3 the size. These are both pre-made. The regular size is priced between $ 2.10 and 2.50, while the minis go for $ 3.95 for 5 pieces. I had the original, cookie, and the éclair, and they were all good. Flavors fillings are limited to chocolate, vanilla, strawberry. The cream puffs are filled when ordered. The cream puffs pastries are delicious, although the cream to pastry ratio is much higher than I would’ve liked.

While visiting LA, my friends and I were in Koreatown’s Daiso and decided to stop by Beard Papa’s. My friend recommends Beard Papa’s as she’s already tried the one in NYC numerous times. They have special flavors on different days, so we decided to get one original and one of the special flavors of the day. It wasn’t as spectacular as I imagined it to be as I have had better cream puffs. However, I’m glad I gave Beard Papa’s a try and will stop by the one in NYC to try out other flavors.

Parking can be frustrating it seems like the whole plaza doesn’t seems to validate … Good news is that its only $ 1 – 2 depending on your stay Cream puffs — mini and regular Regular is about the size of the palm of a guys hand and mini is about 1⁄3 of the regular size Usually the Puffs are already made and its on display and they fill it with cream upon order They have monthly special flavors that are random, regular, chocolate and strawberry seems to be on deck Coffee and smoothies are also available Friendly service price is reasonable This one is in «courtyard» plaza and theres curry house, CGV movie theater on 2nd fl Theres Korean restaurant and Daiso next door Also a Korean Market downstairs

Solid Beard Papa’s that never disappoints when the craving for this sweet, fluffy goodness hits! I visited this location recently(located inside the Madang Mall) and was pleasantly surprised by the superb service! I was a little sad that they didn’t have solid chocolate as a filling the day I went(they have specials every day of the week, and chocolate is only available on the weekends). The special of the day was cookies & cream, which was pretty good. The standard vanilla custard filling is always available. Super cute boxes for Christmas! 4 solid stars for Beard Papa’s and this location in particular.

I love the cream puffs here! That’s their specialty and what they do best. The regular cream puffs are good but the cookie cream puffs are even better! They fill the puffs when you buy them and they.

After reading other reviews, I guess there is another Beard Papa’s that’s better? Anyways, it was my first time here and I actually really liked it. I came on a Tuesday night around 9pm and the special said Green Tea, but apparently they only had vanilla and chocolate? I ordered a vanilla and my BF got chocolate. Both were delicious! I devoured mine in 3 seconds haha. The cookie to cream ratio was perfect and the girl working was super nice. Don’t forget to validate your parking ticket! I can’t wait to try the other location when I visit California in the near future.

Craving something chocolatey, so came here and got one of their eclairs and a chocolate cream puff. The éclair is basically their plain one dipped with dark chocolate. Both pastries were filled with their signature custard. The éclair was better than the chocolate cream puff which lacked any pronounced chocolate flavor. Also, it seems like their custard here is less sweet and eggy as compared to other Beard Papa’s I’ve been to. Unless I’m really craving a cream puff, I don’t think I’d come back.

Not the best Beard Papa’s but probably the one I frequent most. The worker guy there is nice. They have different filling flavors everyday. I forgot what they are. Also, is it just me or are the size of the cream puffs getting smaller? :(

I grew up on cream puffs! No wonder I was such a chubby kid! Haha. But Beard Papa has these huge cream puffs that are so delicious and has them in various flavors! I usually opt for the classic. I do find that the cream/bread ratio is a bit off(too much cream) but I’m just nit-picking. I’m glad this location opened up so I don’t have to drive to Sawtelle/Hollywood/Little Tokyo!

After lunch snack on Tuesday, 5÷5÷15 Inside the Ma Dang plaza, you’ll find a small Beard Papa’s. It’s also near Tom N Tom Coffee so hopefully you don’t miss it. We walked in after lunch and there was no line. They have daily flavors for the filling in additional to their original vanilla cream. My favorite is still the original vanilla cream filled custard pastry. They also have mini cream puffs and other cute pastry items.

This place is located inside the CGV plaza, I think it’s call«MADANG.» It’s next to Boba time which works out perfect for me since I heart boba. The cream puffs are light, fluffy and the creamy. I usually get the mini ones since it’s bite sized and easier to eat. The reason for 3 stars is because they supposedly have different flavors of cream for different days of the week. I’ve never tried it… Every time I go there, they ONLY have the regular cream. Attempted a handful of time by going there at different times to try the different flavors but it’s never available. I got the feeling that it was more of a sales gimmick and they don’t actually have the flavors. Therefore, I always end up getting the regular cream which is still good.

Beard Papa’s in Koreatown. Before this opened in this Madang Mall, you either have to drive all the way to little tokyo or hollywood+highland. Now you can get your cream puffs nearby! A small place with a couple tables to sit down and actually eat. They have different fillings every each day of the week and so you can check out their little chalkboard inside. On Tuesdays, its usually always Green Tea. I got some and they were kind of soggy though I had them not too long after I purchased it. Had too much cream inside and it was just coming out of everywhere as I took a bite. It was about $ 11 for set of 6 cream puffs which I think is reasonable. Though, they werent as good as I expected. When I had them before from Little Tokyo it tasted a lot better. I dont know if I changed or they changed. Customer service was excellent. Very politr and patient workers here. Will come back if I crave other flavors in the future.
