Needed 40 yards of black Venice lace for wedding favors and I didn’t want to spend $ 2.99/yd on it so down to the fashion district I went. Glad I came here! Got two great lace trims at great prices. One at .30¢ a yard and one at .50¢ a yard I was out the door with 25 yards, couldn’t have been happier. All the staff was friendly, the lady cutting the ribbon in the back was super easy to work with and friendly. Will definitely be back!(may need more as the wedding gets closer) Thanks! :)

The only place open when Berger and Bohemian close… So I had to go in to buy crystals. Lady was a bitch and not helpful at all. Very short with me while I was buying rhinestones. And then when I tried to use the Unilocal deal, she said«that’s not for crystals.» Which it didn’t state anywhere on the deal… If you’re in a pinch, this place is okay. But I would wait for other shops to open and give them my business.

I stopped by Beads & Trims on a cold windy day. There was a man who warmly greeted me. This store had so many selections at such low prices. There were rings were $ 1. People come here to pick up items to sell at swap meets and other venues. I picked up a silver chain for a project for $ 4.98 @ 50% off.

Great Bead store. They really have it all. They have rhinestones and semi precious stones. They have all kinds of glass beads for making jewelry at great prices. The staff is also very helpful and friendly.

I’ve going to this place for the past 7 years… I love the new section in the back that was just added, the verity is amazing. Most important of all, I left my iPhone in the store, I went back after 2 hours to see if I had left it there… the owner told me «you left your phone here» before I even opened my mouth. Thank you guys!

Ended up in here one rainy afternoon and didn’t leave until closing time! The friendly staff taught me how to make amazing bracelets and since then I have continued to go back to buy more beads and thread as they are so well stocked, friendly and have a loyalty card system so you get a good deal. Would highly recommend.

My wife needed some swarovski crystals and we found a great selection and great prices. The service was very helpful, also suggesting design tips while showing off their selection. I highly recommend Beads & Trims.

They have too much at this store, you would be there for a lifetime if you counted all there items. They have 25 ft ceilings filled to the top with trim, beads and fixings. They’re selection is grand, you walk to the back of the store and it’s a whole new world. If you can’t find something you will find the owner isaac there will personally help you with your project. They also offer 10% off Fidm students. They carry beads, trims, swarovski and anything else you can think of for semi-precious jewelry.

This guy tried to charge me more than the ticketed price on some beads, then accused me of changing the packaging to get a better price. I called him on it, left the store, and contacted the BBB. Stay away!

When they have rhinestones in stock, they have the best prices around. I was just frustrated that some common sizes and colors(34ss Crystal AB) weren’t available. Sure I can get them elsewhere, but I will also pay out the nose. The staff are friendly and helpful and they do have quite an assortment of stones and colors.

I am making my own wedding veil and needed a plastic hair comb to secure it to my ‘do. I looked high and low for plastic hair combs, all over the internet, they were not at Sally’s, Michael’s, Target or any of the traditional places you’d think would have them. Finally, it occurred to me to drive around downtown and see if I found a place that looked like they might have them. I saw Beads and Trims and found a parking spot. Lo and Behold I showed the super friendly owner(quite the comedian) a picture of the hair comb I was looking for an he found them in 2 shakes. I didn’t even eat up on the time on my meter, it was that fast. They have a large selection of laces, trims, earring hooks, and all the stuff you need to make your own necklaces and jewelry. The prices are good too, I bought a dozen combs for $ 3. They also have ring bases, for mounting your own stuff on a ring. I have not seen those anywhere else.

This place is just okay for me. It was the first bead store that I entered, and the front of the store is more dedicated to selling mass-produced finished jewelry in cheap plastic and cheap metals. Compared with the other bead stores, this place has a really messy, disorganized feel to it. It’s cramped in the front area, because I think there is just too much stuff! The back of the store is a warehouse of trims and things, and the aisles were dimly lit… kinda creepy to walk the aisles alone. Good thing my mom was with me! Ahahahaha. They do have a lot of impressive trims though, so I would come for that. As for metal findings, I was looking for sterling silver or silver-plated findings and the lady working there was only able to show me one silver-plated product, which was something I was looking for, but I was hoping for more! The limited selection of sterling silver findings were kinda too pricey for me, and they are behind a counter, so I felt bad that she was taking each one available to show me, and then I said I would have to «think about it.» I did end up purchasing those silver-plated head pins, and a package of purple 4 mm glass pearls, supposedly made in Japan(surprisingly!) for 25% off… I guess they were having a sale! This would be my last resort place to come for supplies though.
