No complaints about any of the food here, the only problem is the women taking the orders. Clearly she hates her job and customers so why she’s still there is surprising. Go to the San Vicente location, the customer service there is WAY better.

Why the lack of love for Barneys? A good friend had recommended I try their salads. This is not a fancy spot. You order at the window and are given a buzzer. They have an extensive list of burgers but I would say an equally extensive list of healthy and fresh salads. I placed my order and sat outside by the fire pit soaking up the Brentwood sunshine. I ordered the beach body salad. It came with beets, cucumbers, tomatoes, avocado, grilled chicken and I added grilled corn. I inhaled it. The harvest grain salad was great too. It was a special and filled with lentils, feta cheese, cucumbers and grilled chicken. I waited about 10 minutes for my meal. Prices were around $ 12 for a salad, which I think was fair given the great quality ingredients. If you love salads, you’ll be thrilled with Barney’s!

Best burgers and salads. I recommend the Greek salad and the Barney burger. Get the curly fries full size. AMAZING! It’s all outside seating and if it’s a little chilly there is a fire place in the middle that keeps you warm. Fun place to go to in the afternoon for lunch.

Not so sure about this burger or the fries for that sake. I’m not a fun of thin meat cooked beyond my request.

Burgers are really good. The beef patty os large enough to fill you up. Also, the bun is not so big and overwhelming like most places. They have about 20 – 30 different kids of burgers on the menu.

Good food. But the lady who takes orders is awful. No personality. It’s a shame. Maybe she’s the owner, otherwise replace her.(and service in general)

Barney’s Burgers is a casual restaurant, with multiple locations in Brentwood. There is one in the Brentwood Country Mart and one on San Vicente. I usually go to the one in the Brentwood Country Mart because it is closer to my house, and because I love walking around the stores at the Mart and sitting outside on the patio. The beach body salad is a must-have, especially if you’re trying to be healthier for the summer. This salad is very nutritious, low-calorie and perfect for your summer diet! It feels very Mediterranean and has grilled chicken, cucumber, avocado, beet and a lemon olive oil dressing. Sometimes, I ask for lettuce to add to the body of the salad. Another salad I love is the BBQ grilled chicken salad. It has romaine lettuce, avocado, red onions, tomatoes, delicious grilled corn, black beans, tortilla strips, and your choice of dressing. I love getting it with the BBQ dressing, but one of my friends is obsessed with the ranch dressing. Per the name, Barney’s also serves many great burgers. They have all kinds of protein, ranging from your traditional beef patty to less traditional options like salmon, chicken, lamb, brisket and shitake mushrooms. I love the truffle burger, which is topped with truffle aioli, truffle jack and arugula. Also, the spicy curly fries are the most delicious heart-attack on a plate ever! In all, Barney’s has a great selection of salads and burgers and is usually very quick and tasty. What a great place for lunch!

Good burgers but usually a very long wait. To be avoided during the weekend lunch hours; between the snooty crowd and the long wait it’s not worth it.

I guess the surly server that others mention has been retrained or replaced, as the person taking my order was excellent! Alas, the burger was less so. Ordered a medium well guacamole burger, but it was served medium rare(pink/red center). I can live with that, everyone makes occasional mistakes when they’re busy. Overall, the burger was quite flavorless. The guacamole was heavy on avocado and light on other ingredients… to the point where I sincerely wonder if I was served mashed avocado instead of guacamole by mistake. I don’t hate the place, but I’m unlikely to return, for the simple reason that there are so many other places I can go for a burger. In fact, I would have enjoyed the Carl’s Jr guacamole burger more than this one.

The burger is decent, but customer service is terrible! Both, the cashier and the server were extremely rude. I made a mistake asking for a catchup and an extra napkin. The catchup was thrown to me and I was told that I already got a napkin with my meal. I paid upward of $ 20 for a burger, ½ portion of onion rings and a drink. Not exactly the cheapest place to be treated this way.

The atmosphere is adorable and seeing Tyra Banks is pretty cool. But the Hawaiian turkey burger was only ok. They had way too much sauce and the Canadian bacon was very salty.

I haven’t even tried the burger and I already regret giving this place my money! I wonder if anyone ever taught the cashier customer service. Rude and very bad mannered when dealing with customers! Most likely last time I’m coming for this place. Lastly didn’t get a receipt

Burgers are decent. Has a light flavor though I’m not all that into light burger flavors. The guy at the register always has an attitude or looks stressed or both. I come here because it’s convenient.

Generally unimpressive. The skinny fries tasted average. Likely packaged. The burger was overcooked for my liking. Tasted like quality. Fresh baguette surprised me :) Chili was very salty. Service was fair. No complaints there. The pigeons and flies however are a major turn off. Clean it up BCC.

I will never come to this location again. I called in a lunch order here for coworkers and myself, and walked across the street 10 minutes later. When I arrived, I could see my order sitting behind the counter, already ready. So I go up to the window that says«pick up» to… you know… pick up the food I had ordered, but the guy working behind the window says I need to wait in line. I inform him that I had called 10 minutes ago, and I could see my order was ready, but again he said I needed to wait in the line that says«order here»(about 15 people) to pick up my food. So 30 minutes later I leave the country mart, lunch in hand, but no time to eat because my lunch break is over. Everywhere else in the country mart will let you pick up your pick up orders in the window that says«pick up» and not make you miss your lunch hour waiting in a line that clearly says«order here», when I have already ordered on the phone.

Looks at the other reviews… why are all the bad reviews regarding salads, hot dogs, and tacos… why would you go to a burger place and not order burgers? 0_o Also, for you NBA fans, Alex English’s son works here, so if you notice a tall guy, it’s him. XD. If you don’t know Alex English, then you need to brush up on your NBA history. :) I came here during lunch time and luckily there was no wait. The waitress was friendly and sat us down immediately. The venue is nice, very modern, simple, and clean. Onto the food: French Fries– 2÷5− Kind of a let down. It tasted like McDonalds fries but more bland. I recommend getting one of the seasoned fries instead. Moroccan Burger– 4÷5− I just love the thousand island sauce with the crispy onions. It’s like eating an in-n-out burger with very crispy curly fries! My only complaint is the meat left the bottom patty all soggy. Hopefully, they can fix that some day. Sushi Burger– 4÷5− Salmon burger with a healthy dose of avocados, wasabi, and ginger. Actually, they put way too much ginger in the burger so I had to take some out. However, I loved the texture of the burger and I’ve never had anything quite like it before(I’ve eaten at so many burger places). Overall, come here for the burgers and order the burgers. It seems like all the negative reviews concern the non burger dishes on the menu. I’ve been to a bunch of burger places and Barney’s is unique because I’ve never had burgers like this before. My only complaint is that the fries were bland, and for $ 10 I wish the burgers were a little bit larger and that the buns weren’t so soggy. Ultimately, a cool burger joint.

Best turkey burger in town! great milkshakes too! i once tried their hamburger and it was probably the greasiest burger I’ve ever experienced. i’ll stick with the turkey burgers. yes the wait is kinda long but at least they give you those buzzers so you can walk around the country mart while you wait.

Yes this place is in a nice area, and because of that, I was expecting a lot more. I ordered a salad with chicken(forgot the name), but it had avocado and grilled chicken on it. I was expecting a HUGE salad for that $ 10 price, but what I got was a measly plate with very little lettuce, slices of avocado, the grilled chicken breast, and two grape tomatoes(halved). Two grape tomatoes halved!!! never again.
