Was very excited about this place as a new place in the hood is always great. Great atmosphere and friendly staff BUT it’s ridiculously expensive and they pour skimpy. Go to el Prado down the street and you’ll get twice the pour for half the price

Out with the old! In with the new! I was hesitant to try this place, because I miss«City zip»… But boy was I pleasantly surprised… Great wine and beer selection. One of my new favorite bars in town! Only giving it 4 stars cause it’s kinda’ pricey… But you get quality goods!

I loved it here! And I will be back. Sat at the bar with a friend from out of town. Great selection of interesting beer and wine. Nice, knowledgeable and approachable bartenders. And I like the dark. it’s sexy and I don’t need to worry about that stained bottom lip us winos get. What’s not to like?

If you are into progressive natural wines, like we are, this is without question the best wine bar in Los Angeles. Fantastic selection of wine. Friendly, knowledgeable staff(a real rarity for a Los Angeles wine bar — kudos to the owners), great ambiance. Music was a little loud for our taste, but considering how unbearably loud LA restaurants have become in the last few years, it was not a problem.

Bandini is a dark but welcoming bar in Silver Lake that will have you talking for days. Their great beer selection is almost as good as the friendliness of their bartenders. Definitely worth checking out.

First time I was there it was way mellow and Groovie. Second time it was busy and the bartender was all over the place and gave me a real dirty glass with makeup on it. By the way there were 3 bartenders and it was slightly busy, not the County fair.

Been here a few times now and, surprisingly, it’s the most interesting beer in the neighborhood — which is saying a lot — considering Sunset Beer, El Prado and Mohawk Bend are within walking distance. Can’t say enough about the excellent, consistent connoisseurship at this mellow spot!

this new place is good for at least two reasons: 1– they have good beer 2– it’s not another coffeeshop! i gave them four stars because, i think, they have a issue with the lights. so dark. what’s happening lately that so many places are pitch black? anyway, the bartenders are nice and they have a patio to smoke.

Do you ever feel like you’re in a place that is so amazing that you just want to keep it a secret, but on the other hand, you just want to tell everyone about it :) Here it is! Came here with two friends after a recommendation of my coworker and I have to say it was amazing. The ambience of place makes it feel intimate and you could just sit here for hours. The atmosphere was chill and their service is really professional. We had a girls night out so we enjoyed their amazing wine choice, but as I’ve already told my boyfriend, we definitely HAVE to come back to taste their beer selection :) I highly recommend this place !

A new dark, very dark, wine bar addition to the neighborhood that is dark, especially after the sun goes down. Everyone seems pressed to mention how dark it is, but I suppose. Let’s put it this way, it’s dark enough that I began to question my prescription and my glasses, both of which were all of a month old. Bar Bandini is a nice casual wine(and beer) bar with a pretty good selection and prices to boot. It’s the first place I’ve seen orange wine in town, which they tell me is trendy but if that were true if imagine I’d see it more places… I hear they might add food – I’m interested! But right now it’s wine and beer only which honestly is fine, I thought we were over the $ 15 cocktails already.

Great little dark and sexy bar in the neighborhood. The owners are super chill, great selection of craft beers and choice wines. Nice place for date night or just hang out with your brozay. Cheers

Finally, a new bar in Echo Park worth going to. Pretty much everything good about every other bar in a three-mile radius is here. Stay lost, ye old knight. Great beers and tap wine. Good tunes. Friendly staff. Dark, spacious and sexy as fuck. The only thing it might be faulted for is lack of spirits, but still a much welcome change of pace from the other beer and wine bars nearby. El Prado I love you, but you’re wearing me down; it’s no Little Joy to find this place.

If you are into listening to Modest Mouse while you drink than this is a place where that can happen for you.

Nice place, new yet elegant and dark, with a great selection of drinks. My friend and I walked here on Halloween night. They’re going to need a doorman at some point, someone to escort people out rather than try and talk sense into them. Chances are, if patrons are identified before even walking in, they’ll take more accountability over their behavior, and if not, then there’s always the sidewalk. As it were, some all day drinker was reaching the end of his reasonable rope, and quickly became the center of attention, syphoning the service into his empty pockets. A little neighborhood outreach perhaps? That’s fine, except he won’t remember much. He’ll recall whatever suits his squeaky wheelhouse, and wasn’t the inquisitive type either. What would Bandini do? Probably write about it.

Friendly owners, unique wines, and comfortable. Good prices to boot. It is dark, dark, dark in there but once your eyes adjust you’ll feel right at home. I’m glad to have a new neighborhood go-to. I need to go back and do some more sampling. The wine-on-tap thing was something I was skeptical of but really appreciated once I tasted it, particularly as I enjoy a red with a bit of chill on it.

El Prado had sex with Bar Covell and poof, dark and pretty Bandini! Good selection of beers and wine, can’t complain. Slash go to the bathroom, it’s all gold.

A neighborhood bar worth reviewing! If you appreciate fine wine, craft beer and extra-soft lighting, you’ll love Bandini. It’s become an instant hit. Their playlists(curated by the owner-bartenders themselves) never fail to entertain. Currently, my favorites are the Boulevard Funky Pumpkin(an subtly spiced sour beer) and the La Boutanche Gamay(an elegant dry Beaujolais). But don’t take my word for it, try it for yourself!

Contrary to the reviewer below, this place gets all 5 stars, and deservedly so. Dark, unpretentious, and full of chill vibes. The music, décor and drink selections are on point. While they don’t offer cocktails, it’s obvious that they’re not about that. They stock carefully selected fine wines and beers, and seem to have something for everybody. Stumbled across this place last night, and will definitely be making it my new neighborhood joint.

I am shocked this place had not been added to Unilocal after having been open for two weeks. Although they serve only beer and wine, the atmosphere completely makes up for the lack of cocktails. This place is dark. It is romantic. It is a much welcome addition to this neighborhood. It will likely be my fiancée and my new regular neighborhood joint. Great service. Beautiful view. Fantastic selection of wines and beers. Only 4 stars because there’s no spirits.

Raise your glasses amigos. The space that formerly hosted City Sip is alive and well thanks to the newest reincarnation — Bar Bandini. This is a place locals can proudly stake a flag in and call it home. An adult playground where you can sip on unique wines on tap priced from $ 9-$ 13 a glass. The interior is a mix of elevated slate table seating and the ever present bar. While the kitchen won’t be open for another few months, the ambiance and relaxed atmosphere make this place the perfect spot to kick back and discover your new favorite glass of wine. Mine happens to be the ’14 Broc Valdiguie. So nice to meet you Valdiguie. We will meet again.
