I was in the impression that they serve food but after a long drive, sad to say that they only have grocery items and some other delicacies, oh well…

The shopkeeper was sweet and I had although the place is small it had all the things i was looking for and it was tons of fun walking through it all.

FILIPINOCORNERSTORE I’d like to report this is the only Filipino affiliation in a 6 mile radius of Culver City. It’s tiny but take pride!!! Again, small place to buy your Filipino essentials. They have a snack section, tinapay section, seasoning section, canned good section like Tocino Spam, frozen food section for your tocino and longanisa fix, halo halo section, banana ketchup section… Etc. I came here for some snacks, instant arroz caldo cups, and for the sinigang with sili seasoning. Glad this place exist!!! This is the first time I’m not living in a Filipino dominant city and adjusting to being deprived. This place made me feel less deprived. Until the next review…

Love this place– it’s my go-to for any special Pilipino seasonings, sauces, veggies, etc. when I decide to cook. Stocked with a lot of staples you wouldn’t find anywhere else, like Silver Swan soy sauce, caldaretta sauce packets, patis, bagoong…

I come from the SFV so I am use to having a surplus of filipino asian markets available to me but I spend some of my time in west LA and was happy to find Bahay Natin in Palms! There are not any asian markets that I know of in West LA. The only mention of Filipino food I ever saw was on a paper sign of a Filipino pop-up dinner posted at Demitasse Santa Monica and that got me excited. Anyway… It is a very small market and nothing like Island Pacific, Seafood City or 99 Ranch market. However, they do carry the essentials and I found everything I was looking for. I was feeling nostalgic and craving filipino breakfast. I bought pork longaniza, chicken tocino, banana ketchup and Mang Tomas sauce. Of course I go for Pampanga’s Best items because that is where the best tasting food in the Philippines is made!!! Thank you Bahay Natin! I hope you continue to stay in business and prosper! (FELLOW UnilocalERS: Pls msg to let me know if there are any other filipino markets or pop ups on the west side that you know of, salamat po…)

Was super happy to find this place! I was really missing my sky flakes. So it was great to see they carried the plain, garlic, and herb and onion. I was also looking forward to getting some century tuna, but at almost 3 bucks a can. I passed. I was happy to find some bulalo(bone marrow) flavored soups. Once you try this yummy flavor you will never go back to the chicken or beef flavors. I will say, just coming from living in the Philippines the prices were shockingly high, but hey it’s not cheap to ship things that far. It’s just a simple market, so don’t expect to find fresh veggies and exotic fruits. Mostly just non perishable items and some about 4 freezers of frozen foods.

If I can give this place zero stars, I would. I literally just left this place. The cashier threw my change on the table… saying nothing else. I hope this place goes out of business. Learn some manners

I love this place. Its very small but they seem to have everything I need to attempt to make Filipino dishes my mom makes at home. They carry yummy filipino baked goods comparable to goldilocks along with polvoron and hopias yummmmm. I wish they would serve halo halo. Oh Im kicking myself for only buying two turons, at .60 cents a piece I could have bought ten. I also love the lady behind the counter she made me feel at home.

A cute little Filipino market on the Westside. It’s a small store but they carry the basics to make Filipino food at home. I loved the Leelin coconut bread they carried. It’s one of the most delicious breads I’ve ever had!

So happy to have found a Filipino store without having to go to all remote places of LA. They have pretty much anything you can ask for. Of course all the standard bags of goodies Chippy Vienna sausage Spam Chicharron Flavored chips Banana ketchup My personal favorite is the frozen tocino and longanisa. Makes for a perfect quick meal for 2!

It’s hard finding good Filipino markets in L.A., but luckily, this one is in the west side near my work! The place is kinda small, but I found everything I needed to buy, like — cane vinegar and good quality fish sauce. I also like their snack aisle, lotsa of cool tasty looking treats to try. I bought five random ones and they were good.

I love this little neighborhood shop. This place is TINY but so compact and full of goodies! Lucky for me, during my current pregnancy, I’ve only craved ube ice cream and this was the place to have several varieties!!! YAY!!! Friendly grocers and cashiers make this place feel like another world inside of the Westside. Note: You may use credit cards for purchases above $ 10 The only few problems I have with it is the parking(it’s a bit difficult to find even on a Monday morning) and also the hours of operation– I initially came on a Sunday evening around 7−8pm and it was closed– I wished they were listed. I also wished the items had price tags.

WOW. I’ve noticed Bahay Natin while driving down Venice numerous times. I admit never stopped because the façade looks a little dingy(and I’m a neat freak). Yesterday, was the first day of summer and I was CRAVING halo-halo, so I stopped by to pick up ingredients. I was pleasantly surprised at how clean, organized and well-stocked this little store is! Granted, they wont have everything under the sun because the store is small, but you can definitely get the essentials! I brought my Israeli boyfriend there(who has never been in a Filipino market) and he was delighted looking around and chatting with the owners who were super friendly and welcoming. After we paid for our groceries, they handed us a chicken empanada to try… it was quite generous of them to do so. I will certainly be back!

I live right around the corner from this store. I shop there weekly. They are very nice and helpful. I didn’t know much about Filipino food before I went in there. So I was shooting in the dark. They helped me find some things I might like. Most of it I loved! My American stomach can’t quite take some of the spices. But it all tastes so good. I’ve recently discovered thia iced tea ice cream bars. My new favorite thing. If you’re looking for a great Filipino market, this is the spot!

I completely fell in love with this little Filipino market. Like let’s run to Las Vega’s right now L-O-V-E kind of LOVE. I had called in advance to see if they had a beauty product that many of my friends use that are Filipino and have beautiful skin. They were so sweet and welcoming on the phone and the same thing when I arrived in person. I cannot wait to return and try some of the ice cream and baked goods… The purple yam bread was soooo darn tempting but cheers to me for not getting it as I have goals of not being a fat cow ;) Thank you to the staff at Bahay Natin for the great service, I truly appreciated all the help :) 5 stars baby!!! You deserve it :)

Filipino goods on the westside! They have pan de sal, which makes the perfect toasted garlic bread, something I never thought of doing as I’m used to slathering peanut butter on it for breakfast. They also carry mocha rolls, which is awesome… but not for my butt since I can eat a whole roll in one sitting.
