I was catching a flight, so I had to rush. But they made the best burger, fry combo I tasted in LAX in under 20 minutes. I travel a lot, so trust me. But the bartender! I gave her a $ 20.00 tip. #thatsallimsaying

Great service! I was sitting at the United Club and I started craving for french fries. So I started walking towards restaurants area at the terminal 7. This was the first restaurant I saw and while I was standing at the entrance area, the staff approached me and asked how am I doing until my boarding time. I thought it was so appropriate question to ask. After I got seated, I was checking on Unilocal review to see what I should order… Within 30 seconds, another staff asked if my server came to take my order as he didn’t see any drinks on my table. When I said not yet, he took my order immediately to get started. A half way through my meal, my server asked if I wanted a bill now so I can leave whenever I needed to leave… They all know we are at the airport and we have a flight to catch. Such a great service. Food… I ordered lobster rolls. Compared to what I had at one of famous place in Boston,… I shouldn’t even be comparing. It’s airport food. I appreciate warm food, any warm food. Actually it was partly my fault. While waiting for my food, I had to take a call, I let my food sit there while I finish my call. While I was observing servers, I learned their shift change is at 3:30pm, well that’s when I got there and it explains why my server didn’t come right away.

Don’t eat here if you are in a rush. Pricey for what you get… When you eventually get it. From order to food delivery was 40 minutes. This is totally unacceptable for an airport restaurant.

Airport food. Expensive, mediocre [at best] food. Friendly service though. Not the best lay over meal I’ve had… But, I mean… Are there better options in the terminal? Probably not. Specially when you’re craving a burger and haven’t been in America for a couple weeks…

I was seated for almost 15 mins before anyone came and there were only 14 people in the place including myself. I was there for lunch /dinner options are very limited and very expensive. The cleanliness of the the place is not the best even considering it’s an airport restaurant and the food is so so at best. Go to one of the food stands in the terminal you will do better

Options are lacking in this terminal of LAX. With a 3 hour layover after a 5 hour flight, my husband and I were looking for a place to sit down to eat and enjoy a few drinks before our next flight. We happened by B Grill by BOA Steakhouse and stopped in. Like any other restaurant in the airport, this place is way overpriced. However, options were slim and we were hungry. I will say the menu has a good variety of options — steak, sandwiches, burgers, pasta, etc. I decided to go with a simple crab cake sandwich and a glass of white wine. My husband ordered the Pasta Bolognese and a glass of red wine. The crab cake was average — nothing spectacular, but definitely edible. The sandwich was served with fires and they were fairly crispy. My choice was much better than my husband’s. The pasta looked way overcooked and unappetizing. The overcooked pasta was confirmed by my husband who also said the sauce was not flavorful at all — in fact he stated the dish was rather bland. I know he regretted ordering it. The wines by the glass were limited and I did not particularly care for either of the whites I tried with my sandwich. My husband said his red was just ok. I will come through this terminal again and I hope at that time other options will exist. If I had to stop in for a meal here again, I would keep away from pasta or more complicated dishes and stick with simple sandwiches/burgers.

There are limited sit down options at LAX, so we opted to try B Grill. All I can say is that the food is subpar and super expensive. The French onion soup was too salty, the calamari was decent but the portion was minuscule, and the pasta tasted like a microwaveable dinner. Would only recommend for alcohol.

Very disappointed the quality of the food was terrible. Ordered the steak and the boa burger the meat on both plates were equally as bad. I do not recommended this place at all. On the positive side the service was great our server was very polite.

This review is for their BREAKFAST. Probably one of the better options for breakfast in this terminal. Definitely the most variety compared to the food court and Wolfgang’s place. Breakfast options range from lite items including fruit, yogurt, etc to heavier like pancakes, platters, steak & eggs, and the burrito. I had the breakfast burrito with sausage, eggs, potato, salsa and avocado, which was good. Wife had the bagel with lox, and she enjoyed that as well. My 6 year old had the yogurt parfait. It was definitely pricey even by airport standards, but you know that going in based on the name and because their menu is displayed at the entrance. Our server was pretty good. Its relatively quiet here, there are several large TVs, and there is a bar. Not a bad spot to eat and kill time before a flight in this terminal, though you will pay.

Solid food at an airport. Reasonable prices and good service. The French Onion soup was on the spot, not chalked full of salt as most places tend to serve up. The BOA steak was cooked right and seasoned well. The only thing that was not up to bar, was the fries, they looked like they’ve been under the heat lamp too long — and were quite dried up.

If you want to try some food for high price, low quality and quantity, this is the place. Such a disappointing place if you even after a snack, which wanted. There are better tasting places in the airport than this that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg.

Chopped salad with water is almost $ 30. Mostly shredded lettuce and severely overcooked shrimp. Mushy overcooked shrimp is not acceptable for this type of place and this price range. Service is marginal. This is the second time I’ve been disappointed by this BOA. It’s an embarrassment to the BOA brand. The«real» locations in Hollywood and Santa Monica are excellent. They should drop this place… dead weight. Will never give this place another chance since there are better options in the terminal like Wolfgang, BLD and The Counter.

Stormy and I stopped here on our way back from Panama. OMG! What a nightmare. I’m in my 60’s(and unfortunately look older!) and they wouldn’t serve me a drink without an ID!(I’m all for policies encouraging denying alcohol to underage drinkers but this was just stupid.) Stormy ordered a chicken salad and we wound up sending it back because it was just spoiled. Not even close to fresh. I’m surprised this place does any business at all

In one sentence: service was spotty, prices were high but the food was wonderful. While we were promptly seated by the friendly hostess, it was ten minutes before someone finally dropped by to take our drink order. Being in the middle of the afternoon perhaps they weren’t staffed appropriately? In fact we were seated next to two servers on break who were counting their tips at the table?! How tacky! Can’t you do that somewhere else? For the rest of our meal though our server was attentive and took good care of us. My wife and I both each ordered a beer on tap along with a burger and fries/salad. We split the fries and salad with our burgers for just the right amount of food. Your bill can ran up quickly though. Our server asked if we wanted avocado and bacon on our burgers without giving us an idea of the prices. We unknowingly agreed and ended up being each charged $ 3.49 for the avocado and $ 2.99 for the bacon. All told our burgers were close to $ 24 a piece! We could have split the avocado as it was a big chunk but the bacon was one measly strip. In the end, our lunch was fresh and tasty and well prepared. The prices though will keep me away in the future.

Ordered the BOA Burger with fries during a layover. When the plate arrived it looked a bit underwhelming for a $ 16 meal, even in an airport. But I stuck with it, assembled the burger and dug in. The fries were decent but not standout. They were warm by not hot. Spice on them was a nice touch. The Brie cheese on the burger was haphazardly applied and the tomatoe and lettuce looked sub-par. Meat was one level warmer than ordered. But it all tasted good together. This is one of those burgers where below average first impressions and presentation struggle with reasonable flavor. That said, even tasting good the burger was not overly memorable. I’d say stop by on a layover given the other choices. But if this place was in my neighborhood it would be a pass.

Wish I had read Unilocal before I chose this place. It’s near my United gate, so I figured«why not!» Here’s why not: the salad was limp and tasted like it had no dressing on it(for $ 15). It came out about 3 minutes before my hot meal – a waste of $ 15 for a salad. My Filet Mignon was challenging to cut with a plastic knife and it shouldn’t have been. They couldn’t give me a better knife lest I hijack a plane with a metal butter knife. I could point out the metal fork would do far more damage as a weapon than any butter knife, ever. But I digress. My steak was under cooked and came with mashed potatoes(I ordered fries). The broccoli was over cooked(which I actually didn’t mind). I never saw my server again after ordering – there were only 3 tables with people in her area. Even the EDM music playing was bad. Best advice ever: find someplace else to eat.

Decent burger place would have rated at least another star BUT they have a very misleading practice of not pricing alcoholic drinks and beer on the menu. Always ask before ordering. Shame on me for not doing so and winding up with a $ 17.99 Bloody Mary that cost more than my good-quality, well-prepared burger did. The manager was less than happy that I called him out on this misleading practice. He offered 10% off the drink, but come on, the margin on a Bloody Mary is pretty damned high to begin with. To charge that much for a drink like this, even at the airport, is blatant robbery. Shame on them.

After being stuck in the United terminal for an entire day I decided regardless of how stressed and upset I was it was time to find something to eat. The service here is what really stood out. The food… not so much but I was hungry. I ordered the BOA Burger with the tortilla soup add on. All edible and fine but not my favorite things ever. It’s a decent choice if you’re looking for somewhere to actually sit down and eat oppose to grabbing a coffee or snack from somewhere. Adding charging stations to tables would be a dream!

Note: we only had breafast here(on christmas day) Maybe it’s the airport? Maybe it’s cuz it was christmas day? Maybe service sucked because they’re going to get customers regardless? Anyways it seems like I was getting a taste of New York before I even got on the flight. The cashier basically had this DGAF attitude and didn’t even look me in the eye. It’s not specifically the cashier though. it seems the entire place really isn’t run properly. The host came to seat some other guests and he decided to flip his baseball cap backwards… seriously? I hardly think i’m being too picky. Anyways there are several other places to eat at if you want service. otherwise the food here isn’t bad. The breakfast burrito I had was pretty tasty. If I come back.(which I probably won’t. if i remember lol) I would consider doing take-out again.

Came here for breakfast before a flight as its right next to gate 71 in terminal 7. We ordered the breakfast burrito and asked for the sausage to be on a separate plate because I’m vegetarian but my husband is not. It took super long to get our food because they put the sausage inside the burrito and had to remake it. Ugh! People have flights to catch! This place also gets only 2 stars BC the man next to us and his young son tried to order breakfast at 10:05 am and they were told breakfast isn’t served after 10 am. He had to speak to a manager who eventually agreed to let them order the standard eggs & toast. As he said: Who wants a burger at 10 am!!! All of the above being said, the breakfast menu is extensive though and the tater tots were crunchy and good. Caramel macchiato was delicious.
