Avos Repair Shop located in St Vincent Jewelry Mart is THE PLACE to take your jewelry for repair! Avos is a kind, quiet man whom I had the pleasure of running across while wandering around the very overwhelming jewelry mart. I saw a repair sign and popped in to ask a price to replace a missing stone on a ring I gave my daughter. He noted the prong was broken (obviosly why I lost the stone) and quoted me a great price for both the small diamond replacement and prong repair. And the best thing. He did it all in front of me and it only took 15 minutes!
While I waited I met his son Nareg. There we chatted about my wedding band and how I had it designed at another one of the shops in St Vincent’s 9 years ago and how I was disappointed in the way it turned out. And also how I needed it fixed every couple of years because of the poor workmanship. We started talking and he gave me his email and said he designs rings and his father makes them. I couldn’t of walked into a better shop that day!
Avos did an amazing job fixing my daughter’s ring and I found a jeweler for life! Thank you Avos (Avos Repair Shop) and Nareg (Subtle Sheen)… A great father son duo!
St Vincent’s is huge! One can easily get overwhelmed and turned around. People are trying to sell to you every step you take and it can be quite intimidating. Go with a place you can trust. I’ve dealt with bad. I don’t recommend it. So go to AVOS for your repair needs! Plaza 1 #R-​2. He’s on the back wall. You won’t regret it!

I needed the chain to my diamond necklace fixed so I came to Avo’s and the gentlemen repaired it right away and cleaned my diamonds without me asking. He also cleaned the earrings and necklace I had on. Excellent customer service and he does great work! Would recommend to anyone.

I needed to get my Grandfather’s family crest ring fitted to my finger and I came to the jewelry district on a recommendation. I was lucky finding Avo’s Repair Shop as Avo is very friendly and skilled. He and his business partner chatted it up with me about the history of the ring and what Avo was doing to the ring while I watched him work his magic. I was nervous of the ring’s design being ruined or some other disaster but it came out perfect.
