No air conditioning
They find a way to charge you for everything including flushing the toilet.
Place is a mess.
And the rep sent to open the stage at 5am was late.
NO BUENO!

Oh my gosh I wish I could give more than five stars, this place is the best place for filming in LA. The owner is so down-​to-​earth, his name is Phil and he is the best! He is so accommodating and so helpful and he really knows the meaning of customer service! I will not shoot anywhere else in LA but Atomic studios!

If you’re looking for a green screen studio with no overtime charges, then Atomic studios is perfect for you. I’ve been working with them for all my productions and never did I pay for Overtime, clean up and studio manager. You also don’t have to worry about lighting and camera equipment as they have all you need in excellent condition. So for a worry-​free shoot, I recommend Atomic studios :)

Finally! A full service, creative, positive-​energy-​filled studio space. Phil Guye, the owner is a wealth of knowledge, experience, and equipment too. All flat fees as well… This is the way movie studios should be! Well equipped, reasonably priced, and ready to serve. I liked the owner so much I ended up purchasing some used lighting from the man for my own personal studio workspace. Great place!

I own an entertainment studio in Chino Hills, and have been in the production/​entertainment industry for nearly 10 years now. I have filmed at hundreds of different studios /​locations. This site has by far one of the best infinity walls around. I only shot on the green screen, but they have a huge white wall as well. The location is very roomy which allows for unique camera angles. The owner Phil & staff, are very knowledgeable and kind. Unfortunately, in the entertainment industry we meet 1000s of people who think they know it all! The few that actually do, are against helping others with out a major fee. Phil went out of his way to help me with my shoot, just being a genuine person. The kitchen and dressing room had a very nice modern feel to it. The environment is super important when it comes to shoots, Atomic Studios gave me everything I was looking for, and was reasonable in price.
I will be shooting here again the in near future.

I noticed one bad review on this place… just goes to show you, you can’t make everybody happy no matter how hard you try. I will agree that this place is weird… in that no other studio would ever be this accommodating, professional, AND affordable. I will go back again and again…

Who better to give my first review to than Atomic Studios. I have used them on 5 different productions now and I couldn’t ask for a more helpful or accommodating location to shoot at. Phil and Daniel go above and beyond to make sure that your shoot is a success. Not only is the huge studio space equipped with awesome equipment, but it’s an extremely comfortable environment to work in. They never put pressure on you to hurry up and get out, or charge you more for each piece of equipment you use, or have strange fees popping out of nowhere. What you get charged is exactly what they say you’ll be charged. As a independent producer, having no hidden fees is exactly what I need to hear!
This studio has a HUGE pre-​lit green screen, and HUGE white cyc, tons of flats, fabric, props, set dressing, state of the art equipment… the whole works. It really can be a one stop shop if you know how to shoot in a studio. You get a free build day, and a full 24 hours to shoot on your shoot day. So even if you want to bring in a build team and then bring in your full crew after, you have plenty of time and don’t feel like you’re getting charged by the hour.
I’ll post some photos from some of my shoots if anyone is interested in seeing what can be done there. It can be completely transformed into so many different looks.
If I need a studio, I always know who to call. The flexibility and relaxed vibe of this place makes it a no brainer. I’m a fan :)

Huge studio and more equipment then you’ll ever need at an unbeatable price. My first choice of indie productions and music videos.

If something sounds too good to be true, it usually is. Such is the case with Atomic Studios. The place is weird. The owner is weird. Unless you are a dirt-​poor filmmaker with low expectations and no standards, look elsewhere. I don’t recommend this hole for a professional production.

When you talk about getting ‘bang for your buck’ it doesn’t get any better than Atomic Studios. nearly 14,000 sq ft of shootable space and a huge green screen to shoot on plus access to some of the finest equipment. In addition to that you get a free build day plus its a 24 hour work day, not the standard 8 or 12 you get at most places. And on top of all that, you get to deal with the coolest studio owner ever. Two thumbs up, WAY up for Atomic Studios! I have been there multiple times and plan to always come back!
