this place is so shady. There is no number to contact/reach. i’ve gotten my eye glasses, and examination checked. plain shady… and wanted to ask a few questions. but the listed/given phone number doesn’t even work. i’m never going back here again.

SO, I went and there was actually a person who could speak English when I went! But he was the only English speaker and he had to leave within 10 minutes when I got there. He was just a sales person so he had to get another employee to adjust my glasses… they just told me that I had to get used to the new prescription and that it will take a week. And they were right! But my glasses are still very tight against my head… I have to get them fixed. It sucks cuz it takes a whole day to know whether the glasses are too tight against my head… I might just go to another glasses store like Costco or something to get the arms of my glasses adjusted.

This guy made me cry when I got home and this is my review, at least what I think and what I can piece together. I totally came out of there not knowing what happened. And it’s for Dr. Kent Chang(not the previous Dr. Herb Wakamatsu). It’s a new low to the 1 star rating. Dr. Kent Chang is unpredictable to say the least. When I first met him, he had, what I intuitively felt as the new job jitters, very friendly. On my 2nd visit, he had that look — the I got too greedy, thought I was somebody and found myself in a financial mess, but this isn’t Japan so I can’t go somewhere and pay to break dishes and let it out, so I’ll take it out on this unassuming girl, who seems very confused, because she doesn’t even know that you can’t order any type of brand of contacts, well you can’t do it, at least not without my holy signoff, cause then I’ll feel useless like I do now. Rawr! Get out! Stop rubbing it! It blinds me, I’m melting, get out! Basically, he got so freaking upset and lost control of himself, yea emotional, and decided my business wasn’t worth it to him, regardless of the business my family has given over the years. It’s really hard and sad to see a man whose emotions are controlling him, in a professional environment. Compartmentalize, take therapy! It’s a shame, tsk tsk. Their business end, seems to be failing b/c most of their sales team doesn’t care, except for the older staff, like Charles and James, who I’m not sure if they’re there anymore. The staff changes every 6 months to a year and said they’re going to change again soon. Why care when you’re not gonna be there? Do you think your customers are going to come back if you act like you’re all that and their phone skills are terrible. It’s the service profession! It feels more like a work visa trafficking station. The people here are soo poorly trained and probably b/c they’re poorly treated. Their lack of courtesy is something I have never seen before, never in LA, never in NY and never in Seoul. This economy must suck balls, not that this place was any courteous to begin with. I even called hoping to hear his side of the story once he calms down, maybe I caught him in a bad moment. It sure, seemed like it when I walked in. Cause really, who really feels good at the end of the day, intentionally writing a detrimental review about a guy who seems to be having serious issues. Unfortunately, the phone call resulted in the affirmation, these guys don’t care. But my friend’s right, it’d be awful for another unassuming person to walk in and get the same treatment, just because he’s having a bad day. That’s what Unilocal’s for. In sum, que idiota(big hand gestures)!
