Me and my husband ordered from here today. Let me start off by saying that the food arrived within
15 mins. That’s a big plus. I ordered the falafal platter and he ordered the beef shawarma platter. The quality of the food was Amazing and very tasty! I will definitely always order from here!

They have some tables so you can walk in and eat here but the place is mostly for catering. Not much of a dining experience but that is not their goal.

Fairly standard Mediterranean kebab place. Large portions. Good quality. Very friendly staff. The filet mignon was tender and delicious. Could not finish everything. The baklava is a variation in the typical. Tasty as usual.

Come before the word spreads and it gets packed — this place is delicious, reasonably priced and the owners could not be more pleasant! :) The restaurant name touts their area of expertise — catering — but they are transitioning to dine-​in/​take-​out. We ordered the filet mignon and chicken kebabs, which were seasoned and cooked perfectly. They were served with a unique, refreshing cabbage slaw, pickled turnips, rice vermicelli, sides of purée garlic, and authentic hummus — heavy on the tahini, just as it should be! A stand-​out was definitely their baklava — nutty, slightly sweet goodness! No drippy, greasy syrups that often adulterate the integrity of the delicate phyllo here! I would have given them 5 stars, but the ambiance is lacking — I can’t wait until they decorate!

Sooo disappointed with this place… I had the beef luleh kabob plate and to my dismay they used a different type of rice it was the fat and sticky rice not the long grain basmati, the beef was DRY not seasoned at all! And the hummus you might ask? It was too CREAMY, where’s the texture of the authentic hummus? I really give it a 0 star.

Absolutely amazing food. Very clean, large portion, high quality meat and best tasting Mediterranean food. The staff are very personable, friendly, and always cheerful. I’m hungry now just writting this.

We were looking for a Mediterranean restaurant down in Los Angeles because where we live there are non. Aslan popped up
and decided to give it a try. it is not a true restaurant. It does have seating and tables to accommodate customers. It is mainly a catering business. I am certain though you will not enjoy a better more authentic Mediterranean meal. The filet kabobs were delicious, the Muabal was roasted and creamy. The rice fluffy and tasty. Greek Salad was. spot on. The owner was very gracious, attentive and delightful. Bön appetite!

Everything was great, fresh and you will not be dis-​appointed at all. The owners are warm, friendly and wonderful people. I highly recommend this restaurant and looking forward in coming back soon!!!

Aslan is delicious! We just catered for 20 people and everything was delicious. The meat and chicken was so tender and their eggplant is to die for. I would totally recommend this place to all my friends.
So glad there is a great Mediterranean place in Eagle Rock. Great food, great service (delivery provided). Can’t beat that.

The filet mignon kabob and chicken breast kabob Are delicious and perfectly cooked. I don’t like rice but their rice is to die for and they add a bit of noodles. The hummus is the best I’ve tried so far in LA.

So delicious!!! The filet was tender and cooked perfectly, the mutabal was so flavorful and not bitter, and the sides were extremely satisfying.
Must eat at this place again!!!

Ordered here for the first time the other day for lunch the service was real nice and people were real helpful and accomafato g to what I wanted.
For $ 11 bucks you get a nice big portion so it’s well worth the money. This meditarrian place is real delicious and pretty healthy most likely I’ll be coming back here for more.

Discovered this hidden gem via a deal on LivingSocial. I called ahead to place my takeout order as instructed on the deal and got there a little bit early. The accommodating gentleman was still preparing the food, so you know it’s fresh and made to order!
I got to try the following:
Filet mignon kebab — served on a bed of fluffy basmati rice, sprinkled with pickled onion and a side of slightly pickled cabbage. It was tender and up to par! I substituted the Hummus for Tabouleh, which were delicious as well.
Chicken breast kebab — same sides as above, but again, instead of hummus, I got the Mutabal instead. This was unlike the Mutabal that I’m used to as it has a super creamy, thick consistency, quite solid, literally!
Oh, and it comes with garlic sauce, which was of slightly smaller portion than of Zankou’s, but more pungent, with less tang.
Sarma (stuffed grape leaves) — delicious, savory, and beautifully uniform. Loved these!
Lastly, I got to sample their baklava, which according to Greg, are made with cashews instead of the traditional walnut. A great way to end a meal.
On my second visit, I got to sample the Lule Kabob platter and the Beef Shawerma platter. Both were fresh and delicious as well. Overall, it’s a great Mom-​and-​pop joint run by nice people who care about the quality of the food they serve. Give them a try!
