Asian Cravings Food Truck

I ordered the shrimp bowl and it was amazing ! It’s hard for me to find quick meals on my lunch because I’m a pescatarian but this was just perfect ! Full of flavor and very light ! Not to heavy and it was just enough. I will get extra shrimp next time because I wanted more more more more lol !

My wife and I were looking for a place to eat. Started looking around and nothing stuck out. When I saw that Asian cravings was going to be at Claremont craft ales we knew we had to be there. The menu just looked to good to pass up.
We ended up getting the pot stickers and the cheesy sumo burger. From the first bite it was heaven in my mouth. The balance of flavors was on point and the portions were more then I expected. the pot stickers were also delicious and all made from scratch! If you’re hungry look for this food truck it’s worth the flavor in your mouth and the money in your pocket!!!

I get the angry chicken wings every time they come to my work and they’re like crack. The cheesy sumo sandwich is bomb too.

They came to my job food was awful. The lady who served the food was rude as well. Chicken was very salty…

Pork tacos and kale salad were pretty damn tasty. I would pull over if I saw this truck again.

I had the dumplings. I was mildly disappointed when I saw that they were fried. Delicious dumplings, very basic filling, fried up — all the flavors are held in the sauces that they drip on top. I am intrigued with this truck.

My husband and I fell in love with this truck a couple years ago. These guys are awesome! They are so friendly and oh yeah… the food is absolutely delicious! We started with their angry chicken bowl and fell so hard for their spicy delectable food! We remain loyal customers because the food is just that amazing. Recently, they added this amazing salad that I get with chicken katsu and it makes me so happy. We will remain repeat customers because they are the best… and so is their food!

Whaaaaaa??? This place is ridiculously good! I got the teriyaki chicken wings bowl and the wings were sweet and savory and fried to perfection. I swear the skin had this crunchy, flaky goodness I’ve not had in other wings. The bowl comes with delicious rice and a kale salad that is crunchy, spicy, & such a perfect combination with the sweetness of the wings.
I want to follow them around wherever they go!

A little pricy, but the food tastes great. Their ninja fries are a must have. Best fries I have EVER tasted!

Made fresh right infront of you. Cones out nice and hot, the sumo burger I got was filled with delicious burger juices and as I stated earlier, best fries ever.

Unlike many other trucks, my burger took maybe 3 – 5 minutes. This is actually really fast for trucks.

When I ordered my burger, they just ran out of egg. I asked if they could accommodate it, and they reduced the price to compensate. Great friendly service.

Still a little pricy but not bad. If I see that truck again, I wouldn’t hesitate to buy.

i generally try to eat healthy. eating healthy at a truck is virtually impossible! but thank god for asian cravings! they have this amazing kale salad with some ginger dressing thing. i had 2 of those for lunch once. just salad. and i felt so good about myself! :D all their food that i’ve tried is pretty good… curry plate, tacos, korean bbq. nothing to write home about, but still better than a lot of other trucks out there!
also, i’ve never had any problems with their service. they stop at my work during lunch and it’s busy but doesnt get super crowded. they’ve been pretty nice and the girl even remembers your name from ur prior visits!

Good food, good sauce. I had the Chicken Katsu with Katsu sauce. The chicken was breaded and fried, and the sauce was good. Even though I had to put half of it aside for later, it held up well and still tasted fine.

Super yummy and filling. The portions sizes are MORE than enough but it’s so good you probably will not want to share with your neighbor.
The salad that came with the beef & rice was my favorite part of the whole thing to. I LOVE me some yummy vegetables. What was best I could mix the rice, beef and salad and when eaten together my mouth exploded into a little gift of heaven.

Don’t patronize red food truck, «Asian Cravings», if anything for their disrespectful treatment of two patrons, my husband and I.
Two of them got out of the truck to verbally fight with me about returning their $ 2.00 ginger slaw which was laced with cilantro. They proceeded to yell at me for not disclosing my allergies to them when I ordered. They admitted to even using seafood oil, which shocked me since I am allergic to clams and lobster. Scary ! I never took a bite since I saw the cilantro hanging from the first forkfull. But my husband had eaten a bite and boy, they noticed. They seemed to doubt my claim that I couldn’t eat cilantro by accusing me of «eating a good bit of it».
I told them I asked the girl taking orders what was in it since there was no description posted. Yes. Practically everything had a description except for the slaw. The young girl almost whispered so we had to ask her to repeat it twice and we never heard her mention cilantro nor seafood oil. When I told them they should fully disclose a seafood oil in a vegetable dish plus the bloody cilantro they proceeded to yell at me at the same time. They lectured me instead of taking responsibility for not telling me what was in the food they are selling.
I am thinking I have to report them to the Better Business Bureau. It was humiliating and disgusting as all their customers watched & waited silently. Two people (one of them a buffed male) well over 5’8 yelling at a customer who is 5 feet tall. Unfortunately, my hubby wasn’t by my side when this happened and he ordered $ 10 worth of food. We are never going to them again.
By the way, it took about 5 minutes of their tongue-​lashing to get my $ 2.00 back Really! I was in major shock. These people have major rage issues.

Yes I have to give this truck 5 stars! For customer service as well as the most delicious japanese curry that I have every had even in Lil Tokyo.
I ordered the curry bowl with grilled shrimp. They gave 5 jumbo shrimp seasoned so well in a fresh orange /​ginger kind of way. It was not overpowering at all, and blended in so nicely with the curry. The presentation was really nice including the way they packaged the product. Not on a paper plate that fell apart by the time you head back into the office. There was a long line outside our office, but the cashier handled it well by letting customers know why it was taking so long to order or get the food.
I can’t wait for this truck to come back to try their fries and fiery chicken wings.
One note the portion size is pretty generous so you don’t really need to supplement a main dish with something else. Unless of course you are really, really hungry :)

Favorite food truck! Any time they are at a food truck event I am at, I go to them, even if there are bigger, more popular trucks there. The food is so delicious. I haven’t had anything that I disliked. My absolute favorites are the potstickers and the Angry Wings. And even though I am generally not a fan of sweet tea (I actually usually hate them because they have way too much sugar), their passion tea is just enough sugar to enhance the flavor of the tea.
Also, the people running and cooking on the truck are super nice. Very friendly.

Good portion sizes and flavorful toppings. However, I found the rice to be very subpar. It almost tasted like instant rice which really killed the flavor of the rice bowl.
The staff, however, were very friendly and helpful so I’ll chalk it off as an off night.

Review is long over due. Finished watching Season III — Great Food Truck Race and congrats to Seoul Sausage, can’t wait to sample that truck. But who knew Food Trucks would gain such notoriety and change the perception of the «roach coach»!
Which brings me to Asian Cravings which is parked in North Hollywood and wanted to try it out. I had the pulled pork spicy burrito and tacos and it was delicious! Prices are reasonable, service is fast and friendly. Love technology too, since you can follow all trucks on Twitter.

Angry Chicken Wings and Passion Fruit Tea!
Those wings are seriously spicy but oh so goooood! Perfectly crispy with an amazing mixture of Thai Bird Chili Peppers, Green Onions & Fried Garlic (8 wings for $ 7). I literally stopped talking with my friends to devour and suck dry each and every wing. The Passion Fruit Tea was the perfect drink to counteract the spiciness of the wings. The service was super friendly, however, they do charge 50 cents for all credit card transactions. I hope to run into them again to try their other goodies!

UM, YES!
Here is what I tried from here. The Japanese style curry and some sort of pulled beef tacos. The curry was OK, my girlfriend lived in Japan for a while and she even said it could be better, but whatever, curry is one of those things that everyone has a different opinion on. It can be region specific, with that said, it was still good just not the best I have had.
The tacos on the other hand? I might sell my soul for a lifetime supply. I might choose them for my last meal on death row. Actually that’s not true my last meal would be Pizza, Wings and Spicy Tuna Roll. Anyway, basically what I am saying is that it is really, really, really awesome!
I can’t wait to try some more of their stuff! Love it!
Plus the people who were running the truck that night were super cool and nice!

My nephew and myself tried this truck last night. I ordered the pork tacos and my nephew ordered the beef tacos. We split the tacos so we could both try the pork and beef. Both were very tasty, just spicy enough without being overpowering. As we were eating my nephew turned to me and said «these are really good», I agreed! As we were enjoying out tacos the lady that took our orders looked out the window and asked us how we liked the tacos, we told her that they were really good! I will be going back to Asian Cravings!
