This workshop opened my eyes to new possibilities in the way that I work on my art. The open and friendly nature of Gordon’s tutelage also prodded me forward. I am now plotting a bigger project with them! And will recommend them highly for any artist, or anyone interested in doing something creative and stimulating.

Ooo, I had so much fun at this workshop!!! It’s great for any level of artistic ability. As a designer, who spends much of my time at work not designing, it was gratifying to get back to making something tangible. I took the belt buckle course and was delighted to have a final product to hold in my hand (they send the final piece by mail a couple weeks later). Kate and Gordon, the owners, have a great setup and process that makes crafting a design easy. They set a relaxing, friendly, and informative tone (providing warm coffee and tasty pastries) that was just the right speed for my Saturday morning. Looking forward to heading back for another course!

So fun! My girlfriend and I took a class and got to sculpt our own belt buckles in wax, which is where you start before they get poured and become buckles you can wear. Kate & Gordon, the owner/​operators of Arts Refoundy, are super cool and inclusive, even to sucky artists like myself. This makes for a great date or creative adventure with friends. Highly recommended!
