Armando is the nicest man EVER! The food is amazing — such high quality and a really good price for it. Excellent after school meal — I got the chicken burrito supreme this time and I can’t wait to go again.

Delicious food, friendly service. Armandos catered AMAZING breakfast burritos for my 800 person event! In addition, Armandos delivered coffee to our venue last minute when our other vendor fell through. They truly saved the day! I will definitely work with them again because the food is unbeatable and they are such nice people!

I really love their food. Arizona steak sandwich is my favorite. The owners are pretty nice. Also you can text your order in advance to save wait time. Highly recommend.

Definitely agree with that review that described this food truck as «sketchy». It’s just such a well-kept secret that people don’t really know about! Luckily my friend asks me almost everyday about sharing carne asada fries with her when the truck is around that I finally decided to go and get it. The fries actually come with actual pieces of avocado as opposed to guacamole! The owner is extremely nice and the food didn’t take too long to come out. The fries come with two salsas, one mild and one spicy. Both can be handled if you like spice and they give the fries some extra flavor. The meat is also not too dry which is a plus! I wouldn’t say they’re the best carne asada fries but I think they’re pretty up there!

This truck is freaking intimidating. There are a million options and it’s overwhelming to look at. I know I passed on Armando’s the first few times I saw it because I could not deal with the huge menu plastered all over the side of the truck. Just pick something though. Food here is cheap and filling. The veggie burger is particularly awesome(patty is not vegan). also, burritos galore! it’s great to have this truck at USC so often.

Can’t go wrong with any of their menu items, they’re all super delicious! Here are some of my favorites… Breakfast: Jovan Burrito, Bijan Burrito & the Hancock Burrito. Lunch/Dinner: Sanchez, Pesto Panini with spicy chicken &CA burrito. So 5 stars for delicious and affordable food and awesome customer service!

This lunch truck is pretty good. I had some healthy food off this truck today which was pretty damn good. They actually had a healthy menu there which I ordered a healthy sandwich.

I’ve been here two times in the past, but did not know they had a Unilocal account till now. They’re burritos are EXTREMELYDELICIOUS with tons of flavor. Very inexpensive and good taste. I’ve had the burger as well(interesting layout) but it was an okay burger. Giving them a 5-star rating because I would come back for the Burritos anytime. Add avocado to it and your taste buds will appreciate it even more ;)

Ah, the sketchy white truck always hanging outside of CarGar. You can always rely on Armando’s. I’ve been to Armando’s a number of times when I’ve been in a hurry. Prices are low and the menu is diverse enough. I love their breakfast burritos(avocado is very fresh!!) and their lunch burritos are filling as well. I can’t speak for their meat items, but I’ve heard good things. 4 stars for convenience, price and pretty good taste. At rush hour, service can be a bit slow but around 11 am the wait is no more than 5 minutes! This is your typical food truck. Great for on-the-go sandwiches and burritos. Something for USC students to rely on!

I have to say, Armando’s is probably the best food truck I have ever been to. It’s mainly due to two key reasons, it’s inexpensive and delicious. I generally get the egg, cheese, steak, and potato breakfast burrito which is $ 5 if you pay cash. They do charge tax if you use a card but at least they accept cards. The burrito comes out fast and it tastes great! They have a large menu, from breakfast burritos to quesadillas to the classic california burrito. They also have a wide range of drinks from $ 1 coffee to traditional mexican drinks. So definitely explore the menu. Another great thing that Armando’s has is pre-ordering through text. If you text your order at least 15 minutes in advance you can get your food right when class ends: D Highly recommend. Classic USC food truck. The face of USC food trucks for sure.

In the case of Armando’s I think that the price point reflects the quality of the ingredients used. The health rating is a B currently – not really sure what implications this has for your health. The menu is overwhelming; there’s about a hundred items on the menu, which is suspect considering they have to fit all of those ingredients on a small truck. Because of this, I have questions about the freshness or sanitary qualities of the food. I tried this place two times, and both times my stomach hurt for hours after. I’m not a weak eater – I’ve eaten street food in different countries without any problem, so this is unique. The most recent time I came, I ordered a carne asada burrito and the steak, bacon and cheese dish. Everything seems to be a «featured» item, so I didn’t really know what to get but I chose those two items since it’s so cheap. The burrito was OK. The ingredients were very isolated, so I would get a bite of rice here and a bite of meat there. The steak, bacon, and cheese dish was too salty for me, and I couldn’t finish it. Fast forward about twenty minutes, and my stomach starts growling. I won’t get into detail, but I felt very queasy for the next few hours and skipped dinner since I didn’t feel too great. I tried to give this place a second chance; however, it’s safe to say I won’t be coming back.

Used to eat here at least once a week. Jovans for breakfast, Sanchezes for lunch. If your burrito comes with salsa in it(like the Jovan) and you tend to make a huge mess while eating(me), ask for it without salsa and then get it on the side. Personally I like both of their salsas that they put in little cups for you. The green one is like 0 spicy to me but my friend who never eats spicy had some and thought she was dying so proceed with caution I guess? Bonus: they’ll customize pretty much any order for you within reason(this is one way to get one named after you, as the legend goes). I’d get the Sanchez sandwich as a burrito and if I felt extra hungry I’d ask them to add in beans and rice for what I believe was just $ 1 more. Sooo yeah, spicy chicken bacon ranch burrito pretty much. And it’s amazing. If you ever walk in the gym and go «wow something smells amazing and I suddenly have an urge to ditch my workout and go eat Mexican food», you probably smell the staff on break having themselves an Armando’s feast(because that used to be me, sorry). And they would probably support your decision to turn around and go straight to Armando’s.

4.7 stars for Armando’s! For $ 4 – 6, you can pretty much get anything on the menu. That’s a sweet deal considering it’s a yummy and filling meal that beats the price of anything similar on campus. Their menu is extensive and their stuff is delicious! Granted, a little bit oily/greasy, but that’s what makes it good! I had the breakfast burrito with eggs, cheese, potatoes, and chorizo! It’s also nice that you can conveniently text in your order 15 minutes beforehand and pick up your order. And don’t forget to ask them for the red and green sauce which adds even more flavor to your burrito!

This truck is always parked at entrance 5 of USC on Jefferson on my way to the gym. It has been a constant struggle for me not to order anything from the truck after going to the gym especially when I always see students eating their breakfast burritos on their way to school. My boyfriend is the evil one always pulling me back and telling me that a breakfast burrito will defeat the purpose of going to the gym. Plus, it doesn’t really help that I usually don’t carry a credit card or any cash to the gym. But FINALLY, I tried their breakfast burrito. I got the breakfast burrito with sausage for $ 5. It was actually really disappointing. The burrito was small. The sausage inside was REALLY salty. I think I just had too high of an expectation for this place. I will definitely give it another chance to try the spicy chicken sandwich and california burrito next time! Stay tuned! Don’t disappoint me please!

I’ve only ordered from them twice and both times I got the California burrito without sour cream, but man is it good! For $ 6, you get a huge burrito that’s super filling. Both times I went were around 2pm, so the line was practically nonexistent. Service was fast. Definitely recommend.

Bottom line at the top: 4.5 but I rounded up because the guys on the truck are so nice and they really take care of our athletic department and service employees! – Armando’s truest customers are the staff from the athletics department as well as other staff employees at USC. Somewhere on the truck there is a disclaimer that they prioritze service employees and I absolutely love that. They work so hard to make everything run smoothly on campus and I would happily defer my spot in line to them(although this has never happened to me). The truck has a bunch of burrito/quesadilla options, and a lot of them have USC related names which makes ordering them a fun time. The Mark Sanchez sandwich, the Lane Kiffin, Fight On or Trojan(I forgot) nachos, etc. They don’t use organic ingredients or anything like that, but everything is still yummy. And the employees are so polite, nice, and smiley! The truck is now usually parked right outside of Entrance 5 on Jefferson. You can also text in an order fifteen minutes beforehand and pay when you get there which is super cool. Fight On, Armando! Thank you for feeding the Trojan family :)

Armando’s is a student’s best friend. Cheap, delicious, and convenient food, served super close to USC’s campus. Most of their items even have free avocado. My only complaints are that service is extremely slow(think a 10 – 20 minute wait after ordering) and that they tend to skimp on the meat. Fast food in general also isn’t super healthful. However, for the price, it can’t be beat! $ 4 – 6 will get you anything on their very extensive and USC-themed menu. I love their breakfast burritos. The steak sandwich is pretty good as well. So is the spicy chicken sandwich. Honestly, if you have a decently sized stomach, you might even want to get two items. Look for the extremely sketchy unlabeled white food truck parked along the sidewalk. You’ll know it when you see it. This semester, it usually hangs out on Jefferson St, by CarGar. I recommend texting in your order in advance for pick-up, so that will save you some time!
