Pro: I like the rustic look of this place, it reminds me of the restaurants in Tecate And the food is good, not great but good The homemade tortillas were the highlight of my meal, but I’ve had better Cons: They take a long time to bring our your food They are slightly expensive, more so than other local mexican places around here

Just discovered this spot — delicious tortillas, pupusas and the enchiladas — YUM. Really nice employees and they even give you a small basket of chips and salsa free when you eat in.

The tacos and handmade tortillas are BOMB! The hubs and I stopped by to grab a quick bite and we were very impressed. The people are so nice and the food is reasonably priced. When the cashier asked if we wanted regular tortillas or handmade ones. I was like«handmade of course». Lol. Make sire you try the handmade corn tortillas. As for tacos we got carne Asada and adobada(like al pastor). Both were delish. Check out this little hole in the wall if you’re in the area. Tasty Mexican food!

The food is usually good and authentic for sure. I ordered the albondiga soup(meatball soup). It was very good almost as good as my Moms But the music was killing the ambiance

I love this place. The food is great and authentic. Try anything on the menu and you won’t regret it. I love the coffee it has a hint of cinnamon it’s delicious. The staff is super helpful and friendly. The place itself is small but that just adds to the homey feel of it. It’s perfect for a date. Overall, great experience I highly recommend this place.

Everyone here is friendly and this is family owned. They’ve been in the business for several years. The Burris is indeed the best and horchata is the best in highland park!

Recently discovered this hole in the wall spot on New Year’s day and we had to come back for their great food. So far I’ve had chilaquiles and nopales con huevo. Both were a big hit to my tummy! Can’t wait to try the rest of the menu. Oh yeah, how could I forget to mention thier homemade horchata. The best I’ve tried in H.L.P!

Open New Year’s Day, excellent parking and sidewalk patio seating, perfectly cooked hard shell potato tacos, romaine lettuce instead of iceberg, tasty chips and salsa, home made tortillas, juevos nopales, carrot juice, very nice friendly service! 5 stars in my book!

I never leave bad reviews, but our experience her was just ridiculous. If you have time and not hungry at all this is the place to go. Bad terrible service by the lady at the cashier, we asked about our order and she gives attitude, as if you are getting the food for free, as if she is doing you a favor. We waited over 50 minutes for 1 sope and 1 quesadilla. There was one more person waiting and 1 table occupied, so they were not even busy. Food is average, definitely not worth the wait. Not going back ever again. *Go to Jugos Azteca instead, it’s near by and delicious.*

Authentic. The salsas are spicy! The pozole there is pretty good. They have the delicious crispy potato tacos too. The coffee is yummy, it is infused with cinnamon which makes it an absolute treat. The food is not Americanized, the familiar flavors are all there and the prices are great too. Disclaimer, the menudo is really porky, I personally prefer a spicier, flavorful broth over the porky fatty smelly broth. But that’s just my personal preference. I really want to try the beef birria with handmade tortillas!

Visited Antojitos Guerrero on a Saturday during lunch time, it was busy and yes they do take a little bit of time to prepare the food, it is worth the wait, the food is made fresh to order. We had Tacos Dorados chicken and beef, they were excellent, we also had the shrimp ceviche tostadas, and what can I said, very good too. Will be going back again :)

So my usual place is under construction, I decided to try this place. The menu is your typical Mexican food. The service is good. I went with the machaca con huevo. DDAAAAAMMMM that was an excellent choice. Not over cooked just perfect, I love machaca, I will say this was up their with my top 3 other restaurants, That serve machaca. To top it off, home made tortillas! So good I would just come back for the tortillas. Thank you for the bomb food!!!

Was in a craving for tacos and when I saw reviews of handmade tortillas I said HELL F. YEAH! I order through phone and the girl was nice. Tried the tacos and they were tasty, so today I decided to try more and wow it was good. The beans were really good so did green and red salsas. Favorite was red because it is spicier. Fried mojarra yummy, pupusas for the princess, she approved and camarones for the mujer, muy delicioso. We ended up getting full and happiness all over our faces and that is just priceless. The service was attentive and polite wich I was expecting because of how good the food is and well they go hand in hand. Will continue to eat at this location and hope nothing changes. If so, for the better.

Bleh to the sopes. THEAMBIANCE: I stopped at Antojitos Guerrero for lunch. The restaurant is pretty run down you would think you were eating in an alley. When I was there someone had made a huge mess at one of the tables and a woman was cleaning it. I do not know if there is inside seating as in not in the alley looking part of the building but beyond the front door because I sat outside on one of their umbrella tables. THEFOOD: The sopes were not good. They were different sizes and the masa was flavorless. They looked better than they tasted. I would not order them again. THETIPS: Don’t order the sopes.

The best chilaquiles this side of my mom’s kitchen. You get a choice of green chile or red chile, I prefer the green since it’s spicier. They come with Mexican crema, onions and sprinkled generously with white cheese. Includes a side of orange Spanish rice and refried beans. You also get one egg cooked to your liking(scrambled or sunny side up) placed over your chilaquiles. I substitute the egg for a piece of steak. Their meals taste homemade since everything is prepared fresh on the spot. Friendly staff, seating indoors or outside on sidewalk tables. Prices are cheap. Cash Only. Parking only on streets but not metered. Tell them Fernando sent you. You can order over phone if you want to pick-up.
