I stopped in for an afternoon pick me up. Very clean. Not a loud environment. The Barista will actually engage in conversation. Most importantly, the coffee is amazing! I can see why it’s rated in the top 40 coffee shops of LA. MYONLY complaint– the cappuccino was a latte. Where’s the foam?

Now, I know that I go on and on about how Joe takes us all over the country to have coffee. And that’s true. But, I gotta say that – since going to Vancouver, BC, where I believe I’ve had the best coffee, ever – this is the best coffee I’ve had in Los Angeles-metro. A five-star rating is the least I can do for this almond milk cappuccino. The only better almond milk cappuccino I’ve had is at Timeless in Oakland, CA. So if you’re after an amazing cappuccino or coffee drink with almond milk, and you’re not in Oakland at the time, but in LA, stop by this amazing place. And they have Juice here. I gotta try some next time I’m here. It looks amazing though :)

Spot closes at 8pm on Saturdays! Showed up at 7:57 and they wouldn’t pour me a coffee. Thanks.

Come for the coffee, stay for the juice and gorgeous workspace. I could hang out in here all day long, and while their wifi was a bit irritating the day I was there, the space is gorgeous and spacious and it’d be easy to stay a while with a good book.

First sip, the cream is full but not overpowering. Second sip, the cherry, mocha-y flavor was so unique and delicious — I was instantly in love with Andante’s latte! The $ 4.25 lattes may seem pricey at first, but not after considering Starbucks small holiday drinks(which you only taste the syrup) are the same price. WORTH. Anyways. I came here to study, and was definitely impressed by the large tables and great lighting. I would also come here to read/drink juice/catch up with friends, since the customers there seemed to be enjoying that. Not a big fan of the chairs(attached to the table by spring) that were bringing me more and more under the table. No big deal though. Overall, Andante is a must-try for anyone who appreciates good coffee! I would definitely try the pour-overs next time.

I’ll be the first to admit it. I love artisan coffee shops. And this place nails it. As far as coffee goes this is on the pricier side. A drip coffee and a donut ran me about 8 $ but they were both spot on. It’s a nice open space with some out door seating. There are large windows and some sky lights which let in plenty of natural light and indoors they have some nice long tables for communal seating or a larger group. They also roast all their own beans and their roaster is on displace in the coffee shop! I will definitely be coming back here again.

Awesome staff, coffee, wifi. Pour over here has consistently been great. Roasted beans here are great. Their roasted beans are good quality, good variety, ethiopia, kenya, brazil, guatamala, roasted often, roasted usually within the past few days. You get a free cup of coffee when you buy a 12oz bag of beans.

Love this place! I got a latte and it was just the right amount of sweet. The décor inside is nice and I like the ambiance for studying. I found parking on a street nearby.

I can’t get enough of their lattes. It’s not the best but definitely a cut above the rest. The space and staff are not incredibly inviting so I try to run in & out very quickly. Of the few times I studied here the unfriendliness actually works… I’m not there to socialize. Also there are plenty of plugs to get a charge. If you’re just looking for a good espresso drink in a hurry then this place is the spot.

The interior is modern wood as expected. I had an ice almond sugar free late that was actually decent. I wanted to work on my zine, however, was struggling with the wifi. The cost was decent. Same market value as back in the city. They had light hipster alternative music in the background but wasn’t invasive or loud. A few treats.

I’d like to say first and foremost that i’m a coffee snob. Places like Andante, Verve, Stumptown, etc have ruined my ability to enjoy coffee from the likes of Starbucks and Coffee Bean. With that being said, Andante is probably the best coffee in Los Angeles or for that matter, the best i’ve had in general. I don’t know exactly what it is that sets them apart but whatever it is, it definitely works. I will say that their service could be better as they are far from the friendliest bunch but I can look past it being that their coffee is so on point.

I’ve heard of Andante but have not had a chance to check it out until yesterday. With the new job, I am often traveling and when I am not out on the road or up in the air, I am able to work anywhere, essentially. I usually choose coffee shops vs. staying at home to work. For this reason, I have been intrigued with finding the cutest coffee shops to work at, around the west LA area. I was at coffee commissary earlier in the morning and ended up leaving because the wifi went out. I drove about 1 miles to Andandte Coffee Roaster, to find it located right across from my new favorite market, and one of my favorite ice cream shops(sweet rose creamery). Already a huge plus on location. However, I did not realize that parking would be such a pain in the ass. There are not too many metered parking spots; in the residential areas, you have to be super careful as permits are required; if you go down about 3 – 5 blocks, you can find parking for free near the local school. It’s not a bad walk, but on a hot summer’s day(which it has been lately; SUPERHOT), it’s not the most fun! Anyway, back to the Andante — GOOD strong WIFI; big open space; the music was a bit loud, but that’s what earphones are for; good array of beverages including JUICESERVEDHERE, as well as pastries. One thing I recommend, please update the huge poster you have posted up by the JUICESERVEDHERE cooler. It is a very informative poster with all the juices that are served and their ingredients + benefits; however, the prices are extremely outdated and can be misleading. I bought a drink that was marked for $ 6 and when I got to the cash register to pay, I was told it was $ 12! Not a good surprise. I’d come back here to work again as well as mingle over yummy drinks with friends. I do recommend this place!

Not the best, but not the worst coffee. Very hard to find an aesthetically-appealing angle for an Instagram, but had to try it anyways.

Until I find another one closer to UCLA, Andante is officially my favorite new study spot! Andante is located in WeHo(that’s West Hollywood) which is quite a drive from school especially in traffic, but it’s so worth it. There’s no parking lot, but there’s residential street parking close by, and luckily we were able to find a spot pretty quickly. The atmosphere is at once both hip and welcoming, so you don’t feel out of place if you don’t quite fit the hipster mold. The seating area is spacious, with a variety of table sizes which is great because there’s something for everyone, whether you’re there to study, for a coffee date, or just need that caffeine pick-me-up. On that note, their menu covers all the bases with espresso drinks, artisan coffees, as well as teas. In addition, they have a fridge full of juices if you’re looking for something lighter. My friend and I had never been to Andante and weren’t sure what to get, and the baristas were really friendly and gave great suggestions. My friend got a dirty chai latte, which is a chai tea latte with a shot of espresso mixed in, and she loved it. I generally stick to lattes when I try new coffee places to see where they lie in the spectrum, and I was really happy with it. Both drinks came with latte art which was a nice touch, and let’s be honest, whenever you order a hot drink at a coffee shop you’re secretly hoping for cool latte art! Overall, 10⁄10 and they do a stamp card rewards program too, where they stamp your card for each drink you purchase, and once you reach 10 you get a free drink. This is perfect for regulars and with drinks coming out to around $ 5 each, I def plan on taking advantage of this!

Fell in love at first sip! I love a good clean, modern and coffee house that specializes in COFFEE! Ethiopia coffee, lattes and teas! The aromas here are overwhelming and the inner coffee junkie in me was jumping with excitement. $ 4.75 later and I’m a happy camper!

Quite disappointed with my experience here. The location is great, it’s a great place to be working or hanging out, the crowd is great — lots of students, West LA people hanging out, screenwriters… But highly disappointed with the coffee. I had pour over coffee, my best friend had the mocha. Both of us found our coffee bland. I found my drip coffee too watery both in feel and in taste, and my best friend couldn’t even finish her mocha. I was interested in picking up a bag of beans too, after hearing some good things about Andante(as a roaster). I looked at all of their beans and none had roast dates on them. I asked the barista when they were roasted, and I caught him by surprise since he looked so confused and gave me a «uhh. I think maybe last Friday? Or Monday?» and then he calls onto his fellow barista to ask her. She gives a shrug, and he looks back at me and says«uhh I’m not really sure but I think we roast every Monday» …nope, not gonna happen.

My friend has been bragging about this place so after our run with the champ, Pacman, we decided to try this place since it was just 2 blocks away from the Pan Pacific Park. They serve pour over coffees and that’s what we got. We occupied the bar table so we were so close to the baristas. Me and my friends ordered different kinds of pour overs and they were all great! I had the Ethiopia. Clean place,

Their wifi password is ‘bestcoffeeinla’. Well that sets you up on quite a high pedestal for everyone to enjoy shooting you down! The coffee is not bad and probably as good as coffee that I’ve had elsewhere. It is particularly comparable with Woodcat up the road. What is up with your atmosphere though? It looks cold, stark and minimal; and is such the antithesis of the atmosphere of your predecessor The Hedgehog, which looked homey and warm. Everything was basically removed, given a coat of white paint and the mismatched brown furniture has been replaced with metal chairs and tables. Shame because the prior golds, browns and Portlandic atmosphere was quite luscious. Now we’ve got metal, concrete, white walls and the best coffee in the world, no, the best coffee in the USA, no, California, no, So Cal, nope.

The drinks are pretty large. That’s the good thing. The bad? I had a breve latte and that large cup was filled with mostly milk. The ratio of espresso and milk was way off. It wasn’t bad but the drink was weak in flavor because of it. It’s as if they felt the need to fill the to go cup to the top. The head was gone as well because they used so much milk. I would recommend using smaller cups to correct the ratio. I wanted this place to work. The décor is just awful looking. Very bad looking. Wasted space. It’s as if a bachelor designed it. The selection of pastries was very sparse. This place needs an overhaul. I’m giving it 4 stars in hopes it can turn itself around because I would still cone here over chain coffee shops any day.

Similar minimalist aesthetic and wood furnishings as their mid-city location, but the space at this Echo Park outpost is smaller. There are plenty of outlets but not that much seating. Nothing outdoor. I’ve always enjoyed the pourovers and espresso-based drinks at Andante. The CORTADO was excellent, as expected. But you know… it’s just kind of sterile here. The service is efficient, but I wouldn’t say warm. And it’s not a community hub like other cafes. I’m happy this Andante is closer to me, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it doesn’t quite last.
