Ancient Thai Massage

I was searching through Unilocal for a massage and found this ancient thai massage, so i gave it a shot.
I decided to get 1 hr ancient combination and I saw that they have the $ 39 promotion, so i mentioned that at the arrival time.
The massage was amazing, the masseuse did her job very well. This place will be my Tuesday go to massage now.

This massage spot is alright although not exactly as awesome as the place I used to frequent. After finding out that my usual spot has changed ownership and with reviews on the decline, I thought I’d give this place a try. So I convinced my sister to come with me for a Friday night R&R, we arrived and was greeted by a very cheerful lady in the front. We were escorted to our individual rooms where we waited for our masseuse.
Swedish-​Thai combination, although I really liked some parts of this massage, I find it a little uncomfortable at some point, not sure if it’s the masseuse or maybe the technique — needless to say, I didn’t find it to be as pleasurable as what I was used to… A good measure for me is when a masseuse gets me to fall asleep accompanied by a good snore –my sister could attest to that having been to many spa’s with her… Haha Sis didn’t seem to have much to say about the place also as she said her masseuse kept looking at her phone — I would’ve walked out if I was in her room, I don’t think masseuse or masseurs should be fiddling with their phones while with a client — period.
Anyway, would I be back? Most likely not. Time to find another spot where I and my sis could have a more pleasant uninterrupted R&R

This place is TERRIFIC. Fantastic massage and very reasonable price. Just don’t make the mistake of going to Eagle Rock Juice bar when you are there… it is a rip-​off.

I was sooooo looking forward to this place. I love thai massage and was excited when Pet said I could see her in 15. I went there and some very inexperienced woman greeted me and started my «massage» which I mean something my 8 year old niece could do better. It was like she just kept on pressing some pressure points but no massage. I tried to be patient and calm down thinking it would improve, but it didn’t. Then in the middle of nowhere, Pet comes in and then gives me a serious back massage on speed. Holy crap, that was amazing. Despite her rushing through it, I understood all the excellent reviews. It was going great and then…
…she stopped. Little miss apprentice took over and did a little more pressure pointing and then it was done.
Now, I can accept that she’s training someone but she should have warned me ahead of time (because I could have waited for her). AND… she shouldn’t have charged me full price. That was crap. She only takes cash so I had to fumble for bills despite that fact that I was near furious about that pittance of a massage.
I might come back. I want to. But only if I get Pet and not Trainee.

A friend and I decided to get a message and found Ancient Thai Massage through Unilocal mobile. Turned out the place was right down the street. I’m an avid CrossFitter, Olympic lifter, and coach and had a lot of work that needed to be done. Pet was AMAZING!!! Used all of herself to work on me. She somehow just knew where and how to apply pressure. What I loved the most was the stretching she did. i will be going here over and over again.

Pet is the best! I’ve been going to her for 8 years now and she’s the only one that has been able to help when no one else has. She really knows every part of the human body and what pressure points to hit when you’re in pain. I think of her more as a doctor than a masseuse and recommend it to anyone who’s having muscle/​nerve pain.

I would give this place 10 stars if it were available. I go here regularly every two weeks and recommend Pet (and her niece Jip) with full confidence that she can heal whatever is wrong with you!
I have been going to Pet for massage for almost 9 years. She is truly a healer and can fix almost anything! She has fixed my neck, a muscle cramp in my leg that I had been dealing with for days, and has alleviated so many «knots» in my back that I lost count long ago! The most amazing thing that I have witnessed of Pet’s healing massage is her fixing my boyfriend’s teeth grinding problem. Her niece Jip is excellent also, and is also able to heal as Pet does. Jip usually works on my boyfriend though, and he gives her rave reviews!
The environment here is relaxing, soothing, and most importantly CLEAN. Go here and be healed! Cash only!
