Amazing Nails

I just got a manicure from Yasue today and she is amazing :) She was willing to fit me in at the very last minute. She is also very good at texting you and punctual. She genuinely cares about her clients and pays very close attention to detail. For $ 20 a manicure with her service, I will definitely be back.

Yasue is the BEST. She does a fantastic job and I have never had my nail polish last as long and look as good. Great work and professional. Also, Yasue is super sweet and fun to talk to.

Where to start? Yasue is really passionate about her business, a real artist, she never ever disappoints. Her pedicures last for weeks as would her manicures, but I work with my hands and they take a beating — so I’m there every other week.
Her services are one on one. Her salon is intimate, clean and doesn’t have that dreadful chemical smell that plagues most of the large nail salons.
Her work is detailed and precise & her foot and hand massages are heavenly.
I’m terrible & never really plan my appointments in advance, but even though Yasue works alone she always does her best to accommodate my last minute planning.
Her prices are very reasonable and for small extra charge (on certain days) she also does house calls.
Parking in Westwood is generally a pain. There is metered parking around the Phoenix Salons where Yasue is located. Also, Trader Joe’s is just across the street. Get a $ 2 validation from the Phoenix salon suites (do check your ticket in the machine when you return to the parking lot to make sure there are no extra charges) or pop into TJ’s — shop– and get a 1 hour validation — Don’t get both validations on your ticket, the exit machine goes bonkers and won’t recognize either validation.

I have had manicures/​pedicures from Yasue for over 25 years! She is an amazing artist who makes your hands, nails, and feet look incredible each time she does them… I have never had a disappointing appointment :-) The professional fun way she greets each client as if they were her only customer makes you feel special. The way the pedicures make your feet look has me inspired to have them every three weeks; and it always looks like she just did them! I usually only do reviews when someone rips me off… but I felt like sharing a gem!

Yasue gives the best manicure I have had! I am very picky but she is perfection. Shape is perfect and the polish stays on longer than other manicures. On top of it, she is so sweet and kind.

If you are looking for the worlds best manicure or pedicure, then you absolutely must go to see Yasue at Amazing Nails in Westwood. I have been a regular for 10 plus years and cannot wait for my pedicure every two weeks. Yasue is incredibly professional and always meticulous. Her work is impeccable and she always, and I mean always gives the best massage with each service. Make an appt quickly and don’t forget your flip flops.

PROFESSIONALISM
Yasue conscientiously strives to give beautiful manicures and pedicures, and clients like me are dedicated to her. She knows her craft, uses high quality products and is pleasant and personable. She runs a tidy, single-​chair business at the Phenix Salon in Westwood.
WORKMANSHIP
Yasue has the steady hand of a painter, and a spot-​on color sense as well. I’ve gone to her for over three years, and she’s always been happy to adapt to my preferences. I like to use my own and I often have her lay down a glittering coat of «Frisson» (Chanel #543) on top of my base color.
CLEANLINESS
Amazing Nails is a clean operation. Very clean. And that is important to me. I would not have my nails done in a salon that wasn’t very clean.
PRICE
$ 55 for a manicure and a pedicure is NOT inexpensive. But, it’s well worth it. I’ve found that Yasue’s manicures will last up to two weeks (if I apply a coat of Rejuvacote every day for the first few days) and her pedicures can last for a solid month.
PARKING
Generally, a pain in Westwood. But for $ 2 with validation, I park in structure that’s a part of the Phenix Salon.

If you are looking to get a nice mani, pedi its a right place to go. Yasue did a great job on my nails and also interesting design which makes your mani or pedi look different and special. She is very thorough, precise and clean when she does the service

I decided to try Amazing Nails based on the positive Unilocal reviews. After my first visit, I whole heartedly agree with the reviews. Yasue is amazing! I had called last minute on a Friday to book an appointment. I took her first available appointment on Saturday, but after a cancellation occurred, she texted me to ask if I wanted to come in on Friday instead. I appreciated the option and took the Friday appointment.
In general, I am less concerned about the nail salon bells and whistles (massage chairs, etc), and more concerned with the quality of the nail work and overall cleanliness. On these two aspects, Yasue exceeded my expectations. Her work is precise, yet gentle. She takes pride and care in her work and it shows. Tools are sterilized and great care is taken to maintain a clean environment. I had a pedicure and I’m really pleased with the way my nails turned out. I didn’t get any nail designs, but I saw Yasue’s work and she is a true artist –I wouldn’t hesitate to try a nail design in the future. Yasue is very pleasant and makes you feel at home. She’s not trying to slap on a coat of polish and send you out the door — she works hard to make your nails look great and cares about your overall foot health. Oh, and the foot massage was also great. I think I found my new regular nail spot!

This nail salon is truly AMAZING. I got my nails done with gel here two weeks ago and my nails still look great. Yasue is the sweetest and most accommodating person I have ever met. I called her at around 6pm on a Tuesday night and she was able to take care of me later that day. She is very flexible with hours and is willing to help her customers out as much as she can! What I loved most about Yasue’s nail salon is that it did not have the pungent smell that other places have. It is a very clean facility. Yasue can also do very impressive nail art. I cannot put into words how grateful I am to have found this place! I recommend it to anyone who just wants fabulous lasting nails with a great service! YASUE IS THE BEST!!!

Yasue is the best! She is a natural real artist (really, she really is an artist) and sure does show her talent. She is thorough and does a great job on manis and pedis. Her foot massage is amazing, I almost felt guilty it was part of the pedicure… amazing!

Yasue is amazing! I discovered Amazing Nails at Phenix Salon Suites, I was getting my haircut with Jesrsi. I usually go to nail salons, but no more after getting a mani/​pedi from Yasue. She takes her time to make sure my nails are perfect and she’s fun to chat with! Very sanitary work and she paints flowers free hand on your nails. I highly recommend her.
