Best place ever! If you are looking for something close to campus that is healthy, this is the way to go! I finally got around to watching Forks Over Knives and now I’m all *Fruits and Veggies 4 Life*

Recommended by a local, I decided to give Amazebowls during my trip to LA a try. Back in Dallas, there aren’t many places offering acai bowls, but boy, when I first tried Amazebowls, I was immediately hooked! Acai bowls have been a health fad for a while now, and I can see why. These bowls are full of vitamins and antioxidants, but the best part is that they taste like ice cream! Additionally, the texture and consistency of the acai bowls are on point — smooth and not too icey or watered down. These bowls come with a variety of toppings such as honey, fruits and granola. While it doesn’t seem like much, these bowls will keep you full for a while! Overall, these acai bowls are refreshing, delicious and definitely a treat, making them the perfect breakfast choice or post-workout snack!

This one is a gem. If you’re craving smoothies, Fro-yo or something healthy to grab, you’ve come to the right place. It’s a tad bit expensive for me to eat everyday but so worth the splurge. Really fresh produce and freshly made. I only have good things to say about these guys.

Acai bowls are my goto for an indulgent but healthy meal/snack. Amazebowls never fails to further my enthusiasm for Acai ablaze. They are just by the university exit at Jefferson and hoover. Love all their offerings especially how they accomodate all customization requests. Mostly a to-go place however they have a small seating area nearby. Regular bowls can easily be replaced for a meal. DONOTMISSTHENUTBUTTER. I have never had a nut butter so complex but oh so delishious! Great Taste! Good Portion Size however a bit pricey!

I got the original mini amazebowl with extra grapes and strawberries instead of bananas. The toppings were excellent — really fresh and great flavor. The acai blend itself was good, but not quite flavorful enough for me to consider it fully worth the $ 5 I paid. Overall a good experience, but will likely be an occasional treat rather than a regular purchase.

This is one of the best spots near campus for fresh smoothies or fruit bowls! They have their own food truck by campus so it’s very convenient if you’re looking for something healthy. I usually get the mini Amazebowl($ 5) or the Rio Deal($ 7). Both are topped with bananas, granola, coconut shavings, strawberries and grapes. It is a little pricey but they’re using high-quality ingredients and the portions are huge so it’s definitely worth it! It’s a delicious & refreshing snack especially on a warm summer day. Try it for yourself and you’ll see why everyone raves about this place!

I think I’m obsessed… I have this for lunch or dinner a couple times a week. They now have mini Amazebowls for $ 5, which I always get for lunch. For dinner, I usually stick with the regular Amazebowl for $ 7, this place is so healthy and great for diets. Even with the long lines, they’re pretty fast at making your order and you’ll have your bowl in ~10 minutes. I don’t want this hot weather to end because I hate eating cold food in the winter! The only reason why this place doesn’t get 5 stars from me is because when I came around 7:20pm they wouldn’t serve me and said they were closed already, but it says they close at 7:30… hate it when places close earlier than they’re supposed to. They should just say they close at 7:15 if they’re going to do that.

Acai on campus? Yes please! After passing by this truck so many times, I decided to stop by and finally give it a try. Since I was eating dinner after my class, I opted for the mini bowl(which they only have with the original option) that included grapes, strawberries, and bananas. The mini bowl was a perfect size for me, and I was impressed at how delicious it was! The fruits were extremely fresh, and the grapes literally popped in my mouth as it was bursting of juice and flavor. The consistency of the acai was solid– it was not too watery and not too thick. There was also the perfect amount of granola on there; usually acai places always give less than my preference, but this one was on point. The bowl was so refreshing and yummy; I’m actually very surprised at how amaze-ing it was! For $ 5 a mini, it is a little pricey, but well worth it if you don’t want to eat too much. Their regular size is only $ 2 more, and I’ll definitely be getting that next time around! Can’t wait to try the other bowls they offer. This place is definitely on my top acai places I’ve tried.

Yummy and healthy, especially after weeks of questionable dining hall food. Definitely filling enough to be a meal! Highly recommend!

I got the amazebowls here – tasted fresh and refreshing. I was taken aback at first cause it seemed pretty expensive, but you’ll understand why once you get the bowl – it’s humongous! Awesome way to get those fruits and nutrients that we(students) often lack in our daily lives. I would recommend this food truck for anyone who wants a quick, healthy snack!

Loveeeeed the acai bowl here. I ordered 1 amaze-bowl without agave and granola(honestly, agave is just sugar and granola is already stripped of all nutrients). Other than that, everything is as expected :). A bit too much for me(5’7122lb) so thank goodness I didn’t get granola.

Amazebowl is a fruit bowl, which is filled up with their delicious secret blend of fruits with acai berries as main ingredient, and topped with some fruits and coconut shavings! My favorite is RIODEALWITHEXTRAGRANOLA! Amazebowl is good too. It is sweeter and has a more sharp flavor than Rio Deal. Fresh and a healthy option for meal, dessert, snack or breakfast! I just love it!

Amazebowls is pretty much USC’s very own trustee acai bowl place because the truck is parked in the same location(Jefferson x Hoover) almost everyday and at the same times. If you want to make sure the truck is there you can check their website for their truck schedule. Even though Amazebowls isn’t my all-time favorite acai bowl place I still love it because it’s so conveniently located near me and I come here for my acai bowl fix too often. You can text in your order and give them an ETA so you don’t have to wait in line, how awesome is that! I know I come here waaay to much because they have my number saved XD Don’t get me wrong though, the acai bowls here are great – just not necessarily comparable to my all-time favorites such as Backyard Bowls and Café La Casita. The acai consistency is pretty good, but does melt pretty quickly, so make sure you’re going to eat your bowl as soon as possible. Each bowl comes with granola, banana, strawberry, grapes, and honey as toppings. I prefer blueberries over grapes but the grapes are still good. Out of all the places that serve acai bowls around USC – Leno Juice Bar, Nektar, another juice truck further down Jefferson – Amazebowls is definitely my favorite!

This is the best acai bowl I’ve had in LA so far! The reason it’s not a 5 star review though is they forgot about my order and so I was waiting there for a good 20 minutes while people who ordered after me were already getting their orders. They did give me a coupon for a free bowl with my next purchase though so that was nice of them. Going back to the acai bowl itself, I’ve only ever had the original because I don’t like mint flavored things, but I’m sure if you’re into that, the other option is probably just as delicious. Anyhow, their bowl is the best for so many reasons. The acai smoothie base is super smooth and is a good balance between sweet and tangy, not too much of either, and it’s topped off with fresh seasonal fruit, granola, and coconut shavings. What makes Amazebowls so amazing though is the granola that they use. There’s something magical about the texture of that granola, and it’s really what sets Amazebowls apart from all of the other acai bowl places. When you mix up the smoothie, fruit and granola, you end up with a little bit of everything in every bite and it’s just perfect. When the Amazebowls truck is in Westwood, me and my roommates will make the 20 minute trek down just for this. With the price though, it’s not something that I can get all the time, but it’s definitely worth it when you need a pick-me-up to get yourself out of that midterm slump, or to treat yourself after a long week.

Definitely so much better than Nekter! So glad that there’s a food truck by USC so I can come here whenever I want(they’re closed on Thursdays though if I remember correctly). I always stick with the regular acai bowl and the portion is big enough for a meal :) I’m not really one of those people who eat these bowls as a meal though so I come here for a healthy snack. Their bowls are so much more fruity and refreshing than Nekter and I love how they include green grapes on top!

I had the opportunity to re-try Amazebowls today risk free(free bowl of my choice) as a gift from the owner. While I did have a better experience, I wouldn’t use the word amazing. I decided to get the rio bowl in an attempt to cut down on the sugar in the original Amazebowl. I waited about 12 minutes, and was presented with a really well constructed acai bowl! The sorbet was extremely creamy, somehow not so cold, and almost tasted like bubblegum. Not sure what it was because it was only acai, banana, and almond milk. It was a little off putting and I couldn’t get over it. I did like the shredded coconut on top, but everything else about it was pretty standard, not warranting more than 3 stars. While it was pretty good and I can understand why people would stop by here to get their fix, since I now am an owner of a vitamix and acai isn’t very expensive from the store, I probably won’t return to Amazebowls because I still believe I can make a better bowl and get more than a measly 12oz serving of sorbet. I only interacted with one guy in person – the person who took my order, but the owner who reached out to me was very nice and accommodating. I really appreciate their effort to earn my business, but in the end I believe my original judgement was mostly correct.

great food truck that offers acai bowls. I found this truck on my walk to school when I attended USC and it was the first time i had a real acai bowl and it was delicious! After that ive had several acai bowls and amaze bowls is still one of the best acai bowls around. Theyre generous with their fruits/granola and coconut and the guys that work the truck are super nice. Its a great refreshing and healthy snack especially for the hot summer days coming up. The quality is always consistent and the acai bowl is nice and thick with a great fruity flavor. the name of the food truck explains itself, amaze-ing acai bowls!

i go to USC and have been craving an acai bowl(this was before I knew nektar was on campus) and it was extremely hot in the summer when i went to summer school. I followed them on twitter and fb to see when they were coming(i think its on wednesday on jefferson and mcclintock?) I got the amazebowl and it was refreshing and it was exactly what I needed. If you have a sweet tooth or need something cool on a hot day, come here for an amazebowl!

Yo all you suckers for superfruit, health fanatics, Trojans, sexy fit people, and/or people who want to be sexy and fit. this is it. The food truck that fulfills your sweet cravings, NOT with sugar highs and fattening treats that you will regret, but with a sweet threat that will enlighten your mind, and leave a heavenly taste lingering on your tongue. For anyone who criticizes amazebowls for being expensive or overpriced, just remember that you get what you paid for: fresh and healthy ingredients and a better, happier body. For anyone who criticizes amazebowls for taking too long, keep in mind that everything is operated on a TRUCK. So because this truck COMES to you, bear with mechanical issues with the freezer, etc. The fact that they put in so much effort in serving you with high quality ingredients and brightening your day– is clearly recognizable. Sweet super fruit for some super sexy people. Thank you Amazebowls.

To be honest, when I first heard about this whole acai bowl fad, I was like, um sounds like a gimmick that will die down. Especially when you have celebrities and others endorsing or talking about it. I didn’t really understand how it could be delicious. Acai? Granola? in a bowl? Anyway, I had an amazebowl and it was pretty delicious. I’m not sure if I was just really hot or really hungry, but I almost went back for seconds. It’s pretty much like a modern day jamba juice in a bowl, but with less sugar and artificial sweetness, and with other healthy fruit and grain items. Something about the whole concoction just really hits the spot, when you’re trying to be healthy and conscious of what you are taking in to your body. A good crunch, a nice chill, very refreshing in all.
