My neighborhood market, for those that complain about this place not selling beer an fyi 20 years ago this same lot had a liquor store and the winos and other elements made it unsafe for the neighborhood. I will always prefer it this way then how it used to be. The carniceria is good and if you ask for your meat to be prepared pick it up the evening before and let it marinate.

So, let me start off with this… The meat gets 5 stars and the staff gets about 3. On separate occasions, I have placed an Order for Carne Asada and on all the occasions, they haven’t had it! Why do they take my order? Confirm my order? And I get here and they all look at one another like they have no idea what I’m talking about?! Sadly, I’ll keep coming back for the simple fact that I love the Carne Asada… It’s delicious.

5 stars for their meat. This is the only place I like to buy my meats from. It’s always fresh. Other than that it’s pricey lol but for meats totally worth it.

I give this place 5 stars because of their prep on the flap meat. A good carne Asada has to have good juicy meat. They marinate it with real orange juice not the sunny delight or Tampico like other places. They will cut your meat like you want. They are very good at that. Yeah the place doesn’t look like Ralph’s or pavilions but the flap meat takes the prize. Produce is ok, they have some Mexican products which is cool.

I really like this place.(It helps that it’s walking distance for me.) The produce isn’t great, but what they have is still better than Ralph’s. The meat is always fresh, and the guys behind the counter are super-helpful. When I need beef fat for baking, they give me pounds of it for free. Helpful tip: the quinoa is about a third the price you pay at Whole Foods.

Don’t waste ur time, the management team has no customer service experience and the employees are just as bad, i feel bad for the owner mr Ted Sasaski for losing bussiness but if u want a better market/carniceria go to Ranch Market on martin luther king blvd. And vermont ave. Next to mcdonalds better quality and better prices and service.

This is another neighborhood market located in the hood. I’ve been coming here since I was a kid(1960). And I have to say, this place is a rip off! It wasn’t like this before. I only come here if it’s my last resort.

I wandered into this local market the other day to see if they sell beer. Unfortunately, I don’t think they do, and even more unfortunately, the entire place smells pretty horribly of «carneceria.» BUT, much to my joy, I did discover that they carry Mexican 7-Up in tall, green, half-liter glass bottles! Made with real sugar! None of that high-fructose-corn-syrup crap we’ve all gotten used to. What a pleasant surprise(and an excellent after-taste)!
