Great bowls and smoothies but the volume on the music they play in there is so damaging to your inner ear you shouldn’t order without covering your ears.(Unless you have damaged hearing which most people do from earbuds + attending concerts and Loud sports games without earplugs) I’ve been wearing earplugs everywhere since age 16 so I haven’t got the same level of hearing loss as most people, But even if you have damaged hearing already. music at the level they play it will damage your inner ear even more, so I think they should turn it down. We are born with only two eardrums; they are very fragile. Once damaged loss if hearing is permanent. Hearing aids cost about $ 7,000 and are not covered on insurance. I’m sure the hearing aid companies love people playing loud music(and movie theaters that play trailers and movies ridiculously loud). I’m sure they want every American to sustain permanent hearing loss.

I have eaten here many items many times and I have never been so mistreated before. I’ve asked for a açai with granola on the side and they brought it with it, when I asked to get it right attended just trashed the granola on top, in which left some in the bowl and did not want to get it re done. Really disappointed!!! The açai still tastes nice… The little was left on my bowl I mean!

I love acai bowls and this is one of the best I’ve tried so far! I like to customize it by adding fruit and almond butter. I also got to meet the owner, David. He was so nice and down to earth. He gave my friend and me a free smoothie shooter!

This is a nice shop in a super cute part of Brentwood. The acai bowl I ordered was overall very good. My only complaint is that the acai base was very, very sweet. However, it was the perfect consistency and thickness. There was also a nice ratio of acai to fruit to granola. This is the only place I have been to where they let you choose what kind of granola you wanted which was pretty awesome. The prices are reasonable — $ 8 for the small. Will return if I am in the area!

When Im craving Acai l I always go here. I don’t try any of the others items, I stick to the classic Acai Bowl and sub out bananas and strawberries for blueberries and mango.

Love Acai nation. Had to wait a bit for my order but it was friendly service and they use the highest quality ingredients. I thought prices were way too high for what you get but there seems to be enough clientele to show that it’s worth it to them. Tasty expensive treat but I’d go back!

The place has lots of options to choose from and lets you pick what kind of granola you want. Overall pretty good, but I’ve definitely had better acai bowls.

I’ve tried acai bowls at so many different places, but Acai Nation is definitely on the top of my list. They offer so many options with different fruits on top and you can choose your own granola. I like to add peanut butter to my acai bowl.

Several weeks in Brazil last year left us with some serious acai-cravings. And well, Los Angeles hasn’t always delivered — many of the acai shops serve less-than-creamy versions of the Rio treat. But not Acai Nation. (Acai, for those who don’t know, is a super-fruit full of antioxidants, often blended with other fruits and topped with granola). We love this spot after a serious work-out, mostly because we feel like we’re treating ourselves to a healthier version of ice cream. The Dragon Fruit Bowl #7 is always on the rotating list of choices.

The place gets very busy which makes the wait times really long. The fruit is fresh, but this place is very over priced compare to other acai spots. Not only that, but the acai itself is very watery and mot very ice like. It was almost like having blueverry granola and strawberry soup. It was not good.

Manager there sucks… They handed me coupon for 15% but when you go back to use it refuse to accept it… 1st tells me that it can only be used during weeks days and then I asked employee and he is its not for Acai bowls. No where on the flyer states any of the excuses they made up! Extremely unprofessional to lie to customers this way!

The have an organic sticker that says usda organic. I asked the worker here and he said yes it is. Then when I looked at the bananas the were not organic. I asked and he said oh yeah we try to do organic. JUSTBEHONEST!!!

Ugh, I really had high expectations and in the end it was rather disappointing. It may be because I’m so used to actually authentic acai(made beachside in Rio) but this was really underwhelming. I think it serves it’s purpose as a «healthy» SoCal post-workout pit stop, but that’s about it.

This WAS my go to place for fruit bowls UNTILTODAY. I was feeling under the weather and decided to order their soup. I thought it was awesome they served soup especially with the cold weather. Had the mushroom barley soup. Disgusting AF. I thought it was an uncooked mushroom until I spit it out and realized it was what looks the rubber end of a tong.

This place was delicious. It is not cheap and it is not fast, but it’s a great, fresh, healthy breakfast. I got the classic acai bowl and it was the perfect combo. The smaller size(called medium) is plenty big! Not sure what you would need a large for. They had lots of different topping options and I loved the granola and fresh fruit. They make it to order and need to cut fruit so I waited a decent amount after ordering. With a line could be a bit of a long outing. The smoothie my husband got was pretty good too but you could taste the powder.

Their bowls are a little too sweet, but it’s also a cheaper alternative to other acai places out there. My favorites are the classic and the peanut butter, although I will say that they use a little too much peanut butter and not enough other ingredients in that one acai bowl. Overall I think it’s a solid acai place that needs some improvements, but definitely worth trying. They also give you a stamp card kind of like Pinkberry does until you get a acai bowl.

Really tasty smoothie. But the choices for meal replacements don’t all include powders. So my «lunch» in a cup cost over $ 11 for the small. I got the nutty one with protein powder. Nothing fancy, very good, but no way I will go back. I tasted a bunch of the other smoothies, the one with granola was my second favorite. Just way too much money for a drink.

I come here when I’m feeling the need to be healthy. It’s close to where I work, so I just walk here during lunch. Everything is freshly made to order. The acai bowls are big enough to be a meal substitute. You can either choose a signature bowl or make your own. All the staff there are very accommodating!

Easy spot to grab a healthy snack or meal. The bowls are tasty, not the best in LA but good enough. The green bowl is my favorite, the rest are a little too sweet for me. It is also pretty expensive for what you get, the ratio of granola to smoothie is too close. I even asked for less granola and at least 1⁄3 of the bowl was still granola. The staff is friendly and helpful.

As other people have said, the Bowls here are WAYTOOSWEET! If i had no experience with Acai bowls i’d probably think these are delicious(toppings are good). However, for the actual base, i have experienced much better(Amazebowls, Banzai Bowls, Backyard Bowls, for example). If they fix their base to have less of that concentrated sweetness flavor that overpowers everything else, then this place will be much better. That being said, decorations and service are good.

I love acai bowls and I have been wanting to try this place for a while! I got the classic acai bowl because I wanted to compare it to my go-to Juice Crafters bowl. It came with coconut flakes, strawberries, bananas and I chose almond vanilla granola because it was recommended to me by the guy taking my order. The bowl was good, but the quality of ingredients did not seem as fresh as other bowls that I have had at Juice Crafters and Kreation. It also was way too sweet for my liking. However the one major plus of this place is the fact that you can customize your own bowl and so I cannot say that competing acai places are better than Acai Nation in this respect. I have not tried the other kinds of bowls and so I’m sure that maybe I would have had a better experience trying one of their more unique flavors and combinations. So, I would probably not go back to this place but that is only because I am a creature of habit and love the other bowls that I already love at other places.

My very first acai bowl and I’m a fan! What a perfect way to cap off a great work-out at Orange Theory Fitness by having an acai bowl afterwards. Very fresh tasting, good serving size for a medium and also enjoyed the samples(one chickpea thing and something with quinoa). I like the vibe of the shop with the décor and island music. Looking forward to becoming a regular at this place and trying other menu items!

Alas, despite the delicious smoothies and bowls, I have to take off a couple stars. I just can’t justify the exorbitant prices for servings that have gotten smaller and service that leaves a lot to be desired. I don’t know if it changed management or what, but more and more I’m noticing corners being cut but prices staying high. The few different times I’ve ordered the acai smoothies, they are very rarely filled to the top. The second time I ordered a bowl, I noticed they are now in paper bowls rather than clear plastic bowls. Why this affects the score: Now that you can’t see through them, the staff can fill them with mere centimeters of acai smoothie mix and load up the rest with granola and fruit. I was told they have to weigh each one(seriously?!), and so I imagine making it heavier with bananas and strawberries is much more cost effective. That same bowl was incredibly soupy, as if it had melted while sitting out. And when I brought these matters to the attention of the clerk, he said next time I was back he’d make sure I was taken care of and left my name at the cash register in case he wasn’t working that day. Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem as though the message was relayed because no one knew what I was talking about. On top of that, I was told not much could be done for me because management is very strict about discounts or helping out a wronged customer via a free smoothie. I wasn’t actually looking for a free smoothie, but by that point I was appalled. At this point, I don’t plan to go back and I express my sympathy for the staff who feel like they have to work for an owner with poor business practices that have become very transparent to me — unlike it’s smoothie bowls.

I am an acai queen. I LOVEACAI bowls and go to any place I can find. This happened to be convenient this morning… Overall taste: 5⁄5 stars. Very delicious, fresh and satisfying my sweet tooth which is hard to do. Customer service: 2⁄5 stars. They are sloppy. I like it to look good and cut well. I came when it was dead and they threw it together without making appearance good. They were also screwing around throwing paper towel wads back and forth which is unprofessional. I love trying new things and the cashier recommended #5. I loved every bite! The great part is they have optional granola which I haven’t seen yet. Very different. They are stingy on the acai… For the price of 8.95−9.95 for a SMALL. I would recommend this cute place. It’s one of the best acai places I have visited. That’s saying a lot!

They have since changed their custom bowl options. Previously, you could get a medium bowl($ 7.95) or large bowl($ 10.95) and your choice for granola, 1 superfood, and 3 fruits. The prices are still the same but you only get a choice of granola and 4 fruits, superfood is an additional $ 1 for each. I much prefer the previous choice because any more than 3 fruits makes the bowl seem too cluttered. Either way, I got a similar order of an Acai Bowl with wild blueberry flax, bee pollen, banana, blueberries, and mangoes. It’s a good combination. I love getting to customize my own bowl, but I feel like it’s way too expensive for the quantity and quality. The fruit is of great quality, and I think they make their own granola. However, my friend had a Pitaya Bowl which wasn’t well mixed. It was smooth in some parts and icy in others. I also had a few hard dry berries inside of mine, probably from the granola.

After debating which Acai bar we should go to for breakfast, my girlfriend and I decided on Acai Nation. It was my first time and when we got there around 11:45am we barely beat the rush because the line was soon out the door. After waiting in anticipation for about 5 minutes I decided to order the large Bahia bowl(Acai, guarana, kiwis, blueberries, strawberries, bananas, and granola). The ingredients were all of spectacularly fresh quality that came together to pack a deliciously nutritious punch to my taste buds! Two things took away from a near perfect experience though: 1) they messed up our order. They mixed up the sizes of our bowls(which worked out because my gf essentially got upgraded to a large for free) and 2) when my girlfriend went back a second time because they forgot to add the coconut she requested, the counter guy was rude to her. Overall, I would say the product is amazing but Acai Nation could definitely benefit by focusing on improving their staff to customer interface. There needs to be a system implemented that both tracks and delivers orders more effectively because the counter guys alone seem overwhelmed.

If you’re not already on the Acai bandwagon, you should certainly come here to bust your acai cherry. Possible one of the best sweets I’ve placed in my mouth and not to mention its packed fiber and antioxidants. I would choose this 100 times over frozen yogurt or ice cream. So Acai Nation is quite small but service was speedy and the presentation was noteworthy. They even had a Connect Four game to play while you wait! But trust me it doesn’t take too long to whip up this delicious treat. A friend and I decided to split a bowl. They have both medium($ 7.95) and large($ 10.55) bowls. The medium was more than enough to share after a meal and big enough to stand alone as a full meal. We decided to try the Amazonas Bowl that has Acai with Guarana, banana, chia seeds, flax seeds, strawberries, mangos and granola. You are able to choose from a diverse granola selection; Wild Blueberries, Apple Cinnamon, Maple Pecan, Gluten Free and Almond French Vanilla. We went with the Almond French Vanilla and were utterly pleased with the taste. The entire bowl was fantastic! The Acai was well blended and was more of an ice cream consistency. The granola was crunchy and ample. The entire mixture of berries really complimented the bowl well where I felt like I was having dessert but not sacrificing my health. Great bowls, great customer service! Also you can customize you own bowl.

Acai Nation is on my way to work. Bad. Idea. You know why? Now, I always make it a point to stop here in the morning to grab an acai bowl or smoothie for breakfast. This is easily the best acai bowl I’ve had in the LA area so far. The acai is just well done and I have tried a good part of the menu and there isn’t anything that I don’t like. Favorite thing? Easily the Rio De Janeiro bowl… with half peanut butter and half almond butter. But you gotta add the strawberries.(Could I get any more LA high maintenance?) The people who work there are also really nice and when asked their opinion, they will help you craft the best acai bowl. Just stop by and get your healthy on. It’s a bit pricier but significantly better than going to Nektar.

Stumbled upon this place while grabbing a cake from Susiecakes. They were having their soft opening and offering 25% off! We got a regular ACAI bowl — customized with granola, walnuts, coconut and bananas. SOGOOD! If it wasn’t so far I would probably come here more often! Workers were really nice too!
