A Step Above Pest Control

I contacted A Step Above about a problem I was having and I have to say I would recommend this company to everyone. The tech Miguel who came and took care of the problem was great very nice, great customer service, professional and very informative. Glad to say that my problem is gone.

Our company has been using A Step Above Pest Control for 2 years and recently I used them for my house, so I decided I more then qualify to give them a review based on my experience with them. First I have to mention the customer service, they are professional and approachable from the office staff to the the technicians. The technicians seem to be well trained and experienced. At work we had big roaches and spiders, they come for service quarterly for maintenance with a schedule ready for the whole year, which I love because you know when to expect them. They have helped us with our bug problem at work and we see non or less every time. Overall great people to deal with :)

After working over 2 years with this company servicing our buildings, the service became lousy and technicians who don’t show up to their appointment on time or at all and doing a job that is mediocre. There were times the technician would not even show up but they say tenants were not home not knowing we had CCTV that we did not even see the technician showing up to their appointments. Notified the owner of these incidents but resulted to nothing. Decided to fire the company and no longer work with them.

I’ve had ongoing problems with this company (scheduling, not showing up, falsifying invoices, really rude receptionist) and finally had enough. Would not recommend at all.

I called A Step Above Pest Control about four days ago to help with a flea infestation. They were very thorough and professional with their questioning on the phone. When they realized they would be arriving earlier than the stated appointment time, they called to ensure someone was at the house. The gentleman was friendly and informative and he worked quickly. At first I was disappointed because it seemed the fleas were showing up in new places and in greater numbers. Today, I am noticing a decrease in the pests and they have all disappeared from the indoors areas.
A Step Above did a thorough job and did explain that it may take a few days to notice the fleas dying off. They also provided a verbal list of other pests that would be controlled by the same chemicals used for fleas. There is a 60 day guarantee during which we can call them to return if there is still a problem. It was an overall satisfying experience.

HORRIBLE. I had them at our house to control several problems our landlord had let go to the extreme. They would show up without confirming appointment times first. They have sprayed now 3 times for roaches, but the bugs keep showing up in my bathroom. There were larvae from another insect that they were unable to identify and just ignored as a result. The worst part of it all though is that, they were hired to help with a skunk problem and left a poor baby skunk to suffer in a trap an entire weekend.
*** If you are not going to come clear a trap for several days, you should remove it and reset it when you are available!!! this is serious animal cruelty! ***
