I ordered the Ol smokey $ 15. Beef blend, smoked bacon, proper jack cheese, BBQ shortrib. Weds night. Ordered at 8.50pm. It arrived with no quality control. The short rib was like pork jerky. I got my money back and went to Coles instead. Terrible spot. Even in Melrose it was borderline passable and closed down. Owner was shady.

Skip this place! I don’t know how you screw up a burger and french fries but they managed to do. Bun was cold, cheese wasn’t melted on the burger, absolutely horrible. To top it off bad attitudes.

The wait was longer than expected… not to forget we are at the airport to catch a flight, just wished to grab a bite before boarding. Me and my spouse had two different burgers — both were average as far as taste goes! the saving grace were the fries!

The burger wasn’t that bad. But getting to that point was terrible. We ordered four burgers and two drinks. We didn’t get our drinks until having to go back up and ask for them. Then all four burgers came and there was something wrong with all of them. Two that were supposed to be well done were very pink. The cashier was extremely rude and seemed irritated that we wanted our burgers cooked more. Overall not a great experience and we won’t be back.

Great tasting burgers and service. The restaurant is situated in a small food court like area at LAX. The fries and burger are plenty of a satisfying meal prior to boarding your flight. The servers provide a great convenience.

It’s ok I understand what some have posted feels like they expect you to order and move on I wouldn’t hurt to smile so to sum it up burger 3 stars service 0 that’s pretty much it.

What else can I add about how bad this place is that hasn’t already been said? Overall, this terminal truly suffers from a lack of decent food worth the price. We arrived to 8 oz Burger Bar about 40 minutes before boarding our flight. We ordered from a very apathetic cashier, and waited about 25 minutes for our food, and when we received it, it was raw. We ordered the Chicken Sandwich and the Turkey burger. The chicken sandwich was overly crispy on the outside but raw on the inside. When I took a few bites, I noticed how pink the meat was and approached the cashier and let her know that the sandwich they had given me was inedible and a health risk. She let me pick something else from the menu(I chose the all American) and gave me a new burger a few minutes after. After I sat down, I looked at my husband’s turkey burger and realized that his, too, was raw. He refused to return it since we had to board our flight soon. He only ate around the edges where it was cooked and ate the fries. I ended up splitting my burger with him and we ended up throwing $ 13 in the trash. The All-American was okay. The patty was very dry and besides how big the portion is, it really is not worth not even a quarter of what they charge for the burger. Truly unfortunate that they have such an outrageous price to take advantage of the high demand and cannot even provide a properly cooked meal to their customers. There is no excuse since when we approached the venue it didn’t even have 3 customers waiting. Next time, I am definitely passing by In-N-Out and bringing the burger in my carry-on.

This was the worst airport food experience that I have ever experienced. The cashier was extremely rude. The prices are overpriced even for airport’s we are going to screw u because we have supply and you are the demand. Travel into LAX monthly and will not eat here again. I hate McD but tonight i would have preferred a Big Mac to their big crap.

Waiting for a flight went to grab a burger. My GF gets in Line and orders an «ol’ smokey» and the girl behind the counter, de’ja screams out to no one in particular, and rattles off all of the things they are out of: «NOOLDSMOKEY, NOSHORTRIBGRILEDCHEESE!» I mean I get you hate your job but seriously I just want a burger without the attitude. One other Hispanic gentleman came over and apologized to me. So I ordered and the burger ended up being pretty good. People are already stressed in the airport, they don’t need another reason to be upset.

I had the turkey burger and it did not have any seasons at all. On top of that they didn’t even make my burger correctly. They were just making a batch of burgers. I’m guessing the really don’t make it to order, But mine was right off the grill because they just finished taken a dozen or so burgers off when I ordered. I gave them two star because the beer was cold and the fries were hot

I have to echo the bad reviews. It is ridiculously slow and the burgers resemble hockey pucks more than burgers. Maybe if they weren’t over cooking the burgers into charcoal briquettes, the wait wouldn’t be so long. Don’t waste your time or money here.

If you’re in a hurry. Don’t try to eat here If you like chicken don’t order the chicken as its over cooked as evidenced many it taking 20 minutes to deep fry. What a waste of $ 18 as I ad to leave and didn’t even get to drink my coke. Pissed.

Bad service and slow. Not the greatest burgers. All madness in figuring out where the purchase/order line is vs the pick up line.

Burger was cooked to order, tasty, and juicy enough. I really liked the fries — reminds me of ones my Mom use to hand make. Service was a little slow going but not awful. It’s pricey but at least everything seemed fresh. Final verdict: All and all a decent airport food experience.

Burger tastes more like bad meatloaf and overpriced for the quality. It was just a dry in appetizing thing I had to choke down

Super slow service(not the greatest attribute in a restaurant that’s in an airport where people are often in a hurry). They were out of my first choice of burger, got what I did order wrong, and it was mediocre at best.

Not a bad wait or too pricey. It’s just a cluster area with a bar full of drunks & waiting around with no space. The Fried Chicken sand was Too Dry & old yellow shredded lettuce was the worst part. Only saving grace was the fries. People on my flight were bitching about the smell. Oh, well!

Yuck! Wanted a quesadilla with no chorizo. All pre-made, so they couldn’t leave the chorizo out. Still waited 10 minutes. Barely warm. Tasted like dog food. 5 people standing around talking. the quesadilla was $ 12! Threw it out. Airplane food will be better.

While maybe a little expensive I found the burger surprising good. The sauce and other ingredients really made the burger special. The fries were also good. The food came out sooner than the 10 minutes they said it would take. Price isn’t too crazy for airport food.

Don’t waste your moolah on this place. I ordered the grass fed burger and my hubby ordered the buttermilk fried chicken sandwich. It took over ten minutes to get our food. So much for fast food! You’d think they were killing the chicken and cow in the back or something. The food was terrible! Burger was so dry and the chicken was burnt, and the fries tasted like cardboard! What a waste of $ 28. Mcdies is better than this joint!
